Finding a small place where a couple can stay on the island is a challenge, however, Hugh's place was perfect! We appreciated the location, cleanliness, and the golfcart. Ideally, the front door being replaced would have eliminated the hassle of getting in and out and locking the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at Carolina Moonshine, and the host was great! Nicely appointed cottage and convenient to the marina, restaurants, lighthouse and surrounding grounds. We enjoyed exploring the island on the golf cart. Sunsets over the marina are fantastic!

Carolina Moon is an adorable, charming cottage in the heart of Bald Head Island's marina village. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Walk to restaurants and historic sites on the island. The complimentary golf cart enables guests to explore the rest of the island. Hugh is an excellent host, providing great information and easy check in. Southern hospitality at its best!
