Our condo was completely renovated in 2015 and features a new kitchen, bath, HVAC, and tile floors. Located in the South Rehoboth/Silver Lake area, Newbold Square Condominiums is a 40 unit townhouse style complex situated directly on the narrows of Silver Lake. It is a small (560 sq ft), one bedroom/one bathroom waterfront/water view condo that is comparable in size to a hotel suite. Since the bathroom can only be accessed from the bedroom, there is limited privacy in the bedroom. Please note that this complex was built in 1969 and is not well insulated so sounds made by normal living can sometimes be heard from the unit above. This unit is ideally suited for a couple or a family with 1 child. Adjacent to Rehoboth Elementary School with 2 playgrounds, playing fields, basketball, and tennis courts, Newbold Square has a lakefront pool that offers both sun and shade options. Walk or bike to the beach by crossing the pedestrian bridge, also known as turtle bridge, which attracts a steady flow of visitors feeding bread to the many turtles that can be seen congregating under the bridge. Once you cross the bridge, you are 3 blocks to the beach/boardwalk via Stockley St. or 7 blocks to Rehoboth Avenue, the center of town which boasts excellent restaurant options and a variety of quaint shops and boutiques. If you prefer to drive, we provide a seasonal parking pass during the summer. Newbold Square is also located less than one mile to Dewey Beach which offers live music nightly, Monday night family movies and Wednesday night campfires on the beach at Dagsworthy St. We have adult bikes available that you can use to bike the boardwalk in the morning. Feeling adventurous? Bike the Junction and Breakwater trail to Cape Henlopen State Park and the Cape May-Lewis ferry. Rainy day? No problem! Shop until you drop in tax-free Delaware at the Tanger outlets or at one of the many antique or thrift shop stores in the area.

About Kathy & Peter
We are empty nesters with grandchildren. Kathy is a school nurse in the Philadelphia suburbs and is fortunate to work at a job where she has her summers free. Peter is a transportation planner, currently working and staying five days a week in the D.C. area. We meet half way most weekends in Rehoboth Beach because it is such a vibrant community year round and we enjoy the off season almost as much as the summer!
Kathy & Peter purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Kathy & Peter chose Rehoboth Beach
We grew up vacationing at the Jersey shore, not realizing what a gem nearby Rehoboth Beach was. It was love at first sight on our first visit in April, 2013. By July, we were homeowners and last fall we bought this unit in Newbold Square! We love both units and will plan to stay in whichever one isn't rented on any given week. We use VRBO/Homeaway every time we travel and have always had a good experience. It is our goal to make sure that you do too!
What makes this Condo unique
As we explored the Rehoboth Beach area, we began to dream about owning property on Silver Lake. Situated among the multi-million dollar lake houses, we were thrilled to find an affordable lakefront condo that offered the tranquility of a water view and a lakeside pool. The back patio is the perfect place to have morning coffee or a cocktail after coming home from the beach. We also love the proximity to the beach and boardwalk. It's a beautiful, mostly shaded, walk/bike ride to the beach. It's also so flat that even i, an overweight, middle-aged woman, can bike for miles! My favorite morning bike ride is down the mile-long boardwalk, and onward along the coastal road to Cape Henlopen State Park.

Hidden gem in Rehoboth!
Kathy is wonderful, her property is well kept, and the view is unbeatable. There is so much wildlife to photograph, too -- I must've taken 500+ photos! I will definitely be back and I would 100% recommend staying here to my own friends and family.
Perfect little gem
Stayed in this awesome condo to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. There are no cons...everything you need is here and all the amenities are top of the line from the washer/dryer to the silverware. Kathy has thought of everything and is a pleasure to work with. Walkable to the beach -3/4 mile and the lake setting is tranquil and beautiful. We will be back.
Tranquil waterfront setting, yet close to everything.
This is the second time we have rented Kathy and Peter's condo. It is a very quiet setting right on the water, yet close to the boardwalk and downtown restaurants. The condo has everything you need from a fully equipped kitchen to chairs for the beach. Kathy and Peter make the rental process very easy.
Condo very clean and nicely decorated but bedroom and bathroom are very small
Beautiful property. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
The property was beautiful and well kept. Everything about it was very welcoming. The owners were attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
This condo was perfect! I come to Rehoboth yearly, and just stumbled across this listing this year, and wish I would have found it sooner! You could arrive to this condo with nothing except clothes and have been fine all week. Kathy and Peter thought of every little detail! I would 100% recommend this unit to anyone, you get to step away from all of the craziness of Rehoboth Ave at night to the quietness and peace of the lake!
Our property is located in the south rehoboth/silver lake area. Walk or bike to the shops and restaurants on rehoboth avenue, the mile long rehoboth boardwalk, or the clubs in dewey beach with live music nightly. Bike the junction and breakwater trail to cape henlopen state park and the cape may-lewis ferry. Rainy day? No problem! Shop until you drop in tax-free delaware at the tanger outlets or at one of the many antique or thrift shop stores in the area.
