Christmas Beachstay

The neighborhood offers first class service. At this time of the year the island is quiet and the beach not crowded, perfect for beach walks and sunrise/sunset watching!

Great place close to beach with onsite activities!

We really enjoyed our stay and theres so much to do on your beach downtime. Beach towels were not included even though listing stated you only need to bring extra ones if needed. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Great Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sand Point was the perfect location for our family of 4 adults and 2 kiddos. The kids (ages 11 and 8) enjoyed their bunk space upstairs and both couples had a great experience in our separate rooms. The kitchen and living room were comfy and the balcony gave us great views of the lawn as well as being able to enjoy the live music and events happening right downstairs. We would highly recommend and would stay again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything is old. Cabinets need painting, furniture is worn. We removed the rug in the living room because we brought our dog and there was sand, poker chips, and trash under it. Several dead roaches around the place. Most importantly, the upstairs bunk room was too hot for our kids to sleep in. Pulled a blanket down from the master closet and a bra fill out!

Reviewer Comments: Very clean but both the bathrooms downstairs had faulty plumbing. The biggest issue was the elevator was broken for our entire stay. My elderly parents had a very hard time going up and down three flights of stairs, especially in the heat and humidity. There was no sense of urgency to ever fix the issue.

There were used Bandaid and boogers all over. It did not clean. The dining chairs were cover with fabric and were uncomfortable because all chair torn and falling apart. With the high rental fees this was very shocking.Overal the furniture old and dirty.

Spacious and open!

We didn’t feel cramped and didn’t feel like our stuff was everywhere with plenty of places to put things. The elevator at this condo doesn’t have AC so just be aware when going during the summer. The balcony is a nice size with rocking chairs to sit and people watch. Couch is small so not very comfortable for everyone to sit. All the TVs in every room were smart TVs but also very small in size. Beds were comfortable and pillows were comfortable but we did also bring our own main pillow to sleep on. The blinds don’t keep the light out well so if you need it dark for little ones to nap, I would prob bring something to cover them up.

However, this particular unit was clearly a rental only unit. Bare minimum decor, uncomfortable living room furniture. TV hung in awkward location. No cable. For the money that CS now charges for stays, it’s getting less and less attractive and less competitive with other beach options.

The only thing that I could point out would be if the cleaning company could focus on the bed rails. Where the mattress sits in the bed, sand, hair, dust, etc. can be seen which needs a good cleaning. I understand that we are at the beach bed sand in the bed is not my idea of an acceptable cleaning. Perhaps softer towels but other than that, everything was great.

Beautiful property and perfect for two families with kids

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience staying in this rental after Christmas. We even got 5 warm sunny 80 degree beach days! We stayed with another family. The layout was perfect with the kids staying upstairs in the bunk room and each couple had our own bed/bath. The elevator was nice to be able get the luggage up to the third story easily. The trash shoot was equally as nice. We loved the view from the balcony of the action at night near Lisabellas and Dylan's Pizza restaurant. Our only issue was there were only four small coffee mugs. We were constantly having to wash them to be able to reuse since we were a party of eight. There was an overabundance of glassware on the other hand. Overall, we would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Loved it!

Weekend Away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Sand Point for 3 days and overall had a nice time. The condo is centrally located, spacious, nicely decorated with comfortable beds and furniture. The biggest con was that it was missing towels. We had to share and we had half the amount of max people it slept. Also no face towels, and most strangely for a beach house no beach towels. Also no Kleenex. I would recommend this property to someone local who isn’t flying in like we did, so you can bring your own stuff. We had an issue with the TV not working and Cinnamon Shore had someone up quickly to fix it. I was told before I booked that they had events and games on weekends, but when we arrived we were told they were done for the season. I wished they were just honest with me as it felt like they told me what I wanted to hear to get me to book. Overall it was a nice time with family and good weather.

Be carefulwhen you stay there. Take pics before and after. Just a great tip. Mine is a small 10 punds shitzu well trained and when we got there we saw some damage under carpet. Well after we left it was ours. But know we know and all our friends are warned.

WONDERFUL!!!!

I love everything about Cinnamon Shores. I have visited many times, but this was my first time to actually stay on the property. The property is AMAZING. Everyone is so helpful, and the amenities are just GREAT!! We ate at Lisabella's-DELICIOUS-and Dylan's pizza-SUPER!! We can't wait for our next visit.

Comfortable, well-equipped spot for Family Getaway

Zipped down to Port Aransas for a weeklong getaway. A working adult, a college student, a high schooler, and a dog - the house accommodated us beautifully. Wifi was good. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Kitchen had absolutely everything we needed - measuring cups, toaster, Keurig, baking pans, etc. A seven-minute walk to the beach - very easy!! Short drive into town and grocery store. Loved the enclosed doggie play yard near the pool. The only complaint - and this has nothing to do with the unit itself - I thought Cinnamon Shores was WAY too loose about enforcing masking. The office staff always had masks, but other workers around the property did not. So if you go, always have a mask with you!!

You gotta do the fire/smores at night, especially if you have kids. We really like the community. The walk to the beach is easy. This unit has some bunk beds on the top floor and my kids thought that was the greatest thing ever.
