Luxurious Lakefront Living With Amenities close to Cooperstown

Beautiful 3 bedroom home located directly on the shore of Canadarago Lake just a short fifteen minute drive to downtown Cooperstown.

We formerly lived in this home for 10 years and can attest to the fact there is nothing we feel better than lakefront living. We always enjoyed having our early morning coffee overlooking the calm and peacefulness of the lake, many describe it as a mirror or glass because it is usually so calm at that time of the day. If early mornings aren’t your thing then it’s just as beautiful watching the sun set with a glass of wine.

The first floor has the kitchen, dining, and living room, which is an open floor plan. Adjacent to the living room is a game room with air hockey, foosball, and a PacMan arcade game set to free play. Additionally we have some board games and toys.

The master suite (queen bed) overlooking the lake adjoins the master bath with shower and a jetted two person jacuzzi tub. It has direct access via patio doors to the second floor deck which has amazing views of the lake.

The second bedroom (queen bed) also overlooks the lake, has an adjoining bathroom, and direct access to the same deck and serene views.

The third bedroom (kids room) is furnished with two double beds and it is adjacent to the loft which has a packman multi arcade cocktail table, a fooseball coffee table, and a TV.

The home is equipped with a full size washer(detergent supplied), dryer, and dishwasher for your convenience during your stay.

There is a fire pit located near the shoreline for relaxing evenings by the fire, we have always enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. Seasonally we also have a fire pit table on the patio. There is also a Blackstone Griddle for your cooking pleasure on the patio.

Summer Fun!!! We have a pedal boat/6 kayaks from adult to children sizes, and a paddle board. Over a $1000 value if you were to rent for a week, over $350 value for a 1 day rental!!!! Thinking of bringing your own boat, we have a 40' dock shore master TS9 dock.

If you are thinking of a winter stay, once the lake freezes we then always thought of the lake as a huge back yard for cross country skiing, ice fishing, and snow shoes when the conditions are right, you will need to bring your own equipment.

In terms of home safety we have a fire extinguisher along with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors located in various locations throughout the home, something we feel every rental home should have to insure the safety of our guests.

This is likely not the first or last home you will view in making your decision to stay when visiting the Cooperstown area but rest assure we make every attempt to showcase all aspects of our home so our guests do not experience disappointment and their expectations are met when they arrive!

Docks are put in the water in early spring when the water has receded to a level allowing their installation, typically about May 1, earlier if possible, they are removed typically About Nov 1, unless we receive harsher weather earlier than expected, we try to leave them in as long as possible for our guests but it is really weather dependent.

Kayaks and patio furniture are put out when the ice melts in the spring and put away in the fall typically Nov 1 unless warmer weather prevails.

Our advertised rates are for 4 guests, we offer lower rates for a family of 4. For larger groups there is a small per person per night fee added which will be noted in the price provided by VRBO when you enter your information. Guests who exceed the number of guests they register with us agree to a $100 per night booked, charge back.

Disclosure: we have exterior security cameras monitoring the parking and entrance area to our home. We also have cameras located inside the garage.
