Short ski vacation

Our family has skied for many years and I had always wanted to star in a "round" chalet ski cabin. This one fulfilled ALL my expectations! It was tastefully decorated with all things "mountain cabin" related. Comfortable furniture in the den and very comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. All the linens carried out the "mountain cabin" theme also. The location was excellent. It was listed as ski in/ski out, which it truly was. We had just a small glitch with this. There had been a 6" snowfall in the couple of days before we got there so it took a little shoveling to access the slope. It would be a good idea to provide a metal shovel in place of a plastic shovel for this job. We also loved the wood burning fireplace! A great experience and we would surely rent this chalet again! We didn't have any reason to message the owner as everything was just as the description said.

Amazing!

This rental was exactly what was promised. The views were amazing and our family had an incredible time skiing in and out of this beautiful chalet. We weren't quite prepared for the difficult drive up to the house (especially since the ski resort had been blowing snow all afternoon), however, our host was quite helpful when I messaged him on VRBO, and even called me to make sure we made it up ok. We got some snow chains and it made things much easier. The town does an excellent job of clearing the road in the morning, making access much easier. We also met one of the neighbors who offered to help us get out if the need arose. If you plan to stay here during the winter months, definitley plan to arrive before nightfall so your trip up will be easier....or ensure your vehicle is equipped with 4 wheel drive or snow chains. Beds were comfy, living room was cozy, and the beautiful Christmas tree welcomed us when we arrived. We loved our stay here and honestly can't imagine another ski vacation without staying right on the slopes!

pure enjoyment!

This is our second time staying here and we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. The weather was perfect - cool and sunny - and the back deck views were amazing. MBR was very comfortable, and we just love the wood fireplace. The kitchen also had everything we needed. Look forward to our next stay here next chance we get!

1st week of March 2022

House was fine, it is one of the older house's in that area beaning up graded. I'm not sure what the stop work order posted at the steps is all about? Had a slight mildew smell when we first walked in, I'm sure due to the changing weather on Beech, was not an issue for us. Parking can be an issue if you have a full size truck like ours. The trash site is closed on Wednesday, we left early Thursday. Overall no issues, house is fine, easy skii in-skii out.

Great stay and close to slopes

We enjoyed our stay at this property which was comfortable, clean and only a short walk to the slopes. Parking was great and easy to unload the car into the main level. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely consider staying here again.

our 2nd stay

we loved the location so much we returned for a one last run at the ski season. This location is perfect if you're there to ski, and it's not far into town or things you may need. Hosts are great too!

Great location

This rental worked out really well for us. The property is exactly as depicted. Great location with ski in/ski out access. The property owner did warn us ahead of time that the road can be icy after the sun goes down. We did have trouble getting one of our cars up that did not have 4 wheel drive so i would recommend 4WD only. We waited for a warmer day and we’re able to get it up later in the week. The property could have been cleaner. The floors and counter were not thoroughly clean and there were dead flies on the window sills. Just made me wonder how much I couldn’t see
also the room with the bunk beds was missing a blind which led to no privacy to change in there at night and light streaming in in the morning. No condiments in the house and bare bones items like trash bags, sponges, dishwashing pods etc. not a complaint just good to be aware of so you can bring your own in case you use up what they left. No shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc so plan to bring your own. Overall positive experience but a few small enhancements would take this from 4 stars to 5.

Perfect for a skiing!

Great place to ski out of! Walked very short walk to the slope. Very easy in and out. The house is very nice and well equipped for your stay. Host was very nice and accommodating. We ski a lot and would definitely choose this place again!

Great location - fun home

Outstanding location! Definitely ski in/out. Loved the wood burning fireplace (we did bring our own wood). Great use of the space - six adults were comfortable. Definitely will come back. Only suggestion is that if you are a serious cook, bring some kitchen supplies with you.

Great spot

Easy on and off the slope. Owner was extremely accessible and very attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to hit the slopes. We will definitely come back.
