Is a good space for a big family

Is a really good and spacious house for a big family but it needs some upgrades. And there wasn't enough towels for everybody and the coffee machine was really dirty. But overall it was a good experience.

Thanks for staying Wendy, we have gone ahead and upgraded the bathrooms as well as the kitchen. We've replaced the coffee maker and updated the towels provided for larger groups.

Beautiful house, needs maintenance

Upon arriving at this property I was taken by it's beauty. However, there were many things that made my stay difficult. I had over 15 people at this house so needles to say we required all bedrooms. But, there were leaks ALL throughout the house including directly above one of the beds making it unusable. In another room the frame of a bed was completely cracked and we didn't know how safe it was. I told the host this but no reply. Definitely needs a lot of maintenance.. unfortunately for us it rained all weekend and inside too..

Property is not safe or clean

Horrible experience at this property. Property not clean, dumpster outside trash all over, wholes in walls, non working outlets, pots and pans dirty and all scratched or broken, sheets and towels all dirty, missing some smoke detector. I can keep on going with issues. Kevin response to messages fast during stay however property is not clean/sanitized or safe.

So much potential but disappointed

This property is a great layout for a family vacation. 11 of us stayed here & we had more than enough room to sleep & shower; kitchen is spacious & great table to eat, play games, however our overall expectations were NOT met. This property seems to be in a state of remodel/updating. Lots of chips in the wall & overall the house had a dirty feel to it when we arrived. There were no instructions on how to enjoy the home, what the check out process would be(strips the bed linens, gather towels etc) every other VRBO that I have stayed in has had this reference sheet. Next I noticed a sign on the dishwasher "out of order". Discouraging since we were a group of 11. This also did not happen recently as I opened the dishwasher and there was mold growth throughout that doesn't happen overnight. To top it off there was no drain plug for the kitchen sink, no scrub brush, dish cloth or towel to dry the dishes with. I messaged the owner about this, he said he would check with housekeeping & I never heard back from him. I had to buy dish cloths & towels. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have see through doors which lack privacy & the AC was VERY inconsistent throughout the house. 3 bedrooms had there own AC unit but the rest of the bedrooms & main living area of the house were quite warm during our stay. I allow that the average daily high while we were there was 100 degrees. There were broken curtain rods in the bedroom just thrown in the closet upstairs & this room faced west & let in a lot of light & heat. The bathrooms were nice & updated but the hot and cold setting varied from day to day. What was a nice shower setting the one day was either scalding hot or freezing cold the next day. The house also had ants all over the kitchen, which I get can happen easily anywhere but we could not leave any food out as ants got into cereal boxes etc. The floors are nice but we suspect that it has been a while since they have seen a mop as our bare feet & white socks were completely BLACK! The bed linens were very minimal just a fitted sheet, flat sheet & a very thin bedspread. I questioned on the first night if our sheets had been laundered but figured they just look dingy from lots of washing & drying. Before we left I decided to strip the beds for housekeeping & I found a dirty white undershirt btw the bunk bed mattress & wall where my daughter slept, that was all the proof I needed to know about the cleaning. So GROSS & SAD this could be a great house w/ simple improvements.

Nice big house but not clean & things are not working, broken

The house is big, fit all of us comfortably; however, things are broken down.We had to experience the following issues: 1. Flooded toilet, had to clean the whole room ourselves.. 2. No air in 1 of the room 3. Yellow and red bed sheets 4. Broken bed in the middle of the night (scary feelings, especially you are in the only one house within miles). Kevin is responsive, he sent people to fix the toilet issue the next day. Overall, the house is not worth the $$$, because we had to deal with that many issues in a short 2 days period.

Amazing! Will be coming back next year!

We all loved the house, it was better than expected. There was more than enough space for everyone and we all loved the area. We definitely hope to book this place next year for our family retreat again!

Great space

The house is big and it was great for our group! It has a few older kitchen appliances and AC unit that needed upgrading because some areas of the home were more cooler than other areas and the vent blew a bit too strong in the dining area. We liked that the location was right on CA-41, which lead right into Yosemite’s South entrance. Overall, it is a great space that my family and I enjoyed. Kevin was very responsive to our needs and addressed them promptly!

Birthday Weekend

Oh my GOD I first like to start by saying that the pictures don't do this place any justice.. This place is amazing it has 8 large bedrooms the Livingroom and kitchen is big too, the owner is great before our stay every time I had a question and emailed him he replied within minutes and that continued through out the stay... This is a win, win rental... I will be returning.. Thanks Gill...
