About Jill & Robert Nein

We visited Maggie Valley in the fall of 2013. I wanted to go when the colors were at their peak. I grew up in Michigan, and missed the sound and smells of the leaves on the ground. I'd never visited NC, but my husband had....It was love at first sight. To sit on the deck and listen to the wind blowing threw the trees. The birds even sound different. The cabin we rented had a stream up the road, you could even hear that because the area is so tranquil. We also liked the fact that it was within driving distance of so many other places.

Also, we live in Florida, and we wanted some where to go to get away from the awful humidity.

Jill & Robert Nein purchased this cottage in 2015

Why Jill & Robert Nein chose Maggie Valley

We specifically were looking for something furnished, and closer to "town". The previous owner had a very special touch, that I really liked. My husband didn't pay much attention to the "accessories" but I did. They made the cottage more cozy and quaint

What makes this cottage unique

There is a little brook behind the house, I really liked the idea of sitting on the back deck and being able to listen to "our" brook.

Clean & cozy cottage with a great front porch

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our week at Belle Cottage. Everything we needed was there for us and the cottage was very clean. Perfect size for two couples. Great communication from the owner prior to our stay. The front porch is great for enjoying natural surroundings.

A little piece of heaven

  • 5 of 5

My adult daughter and I stayed here during the last week in October. Upstairs for me and downstairs for her allowed space for each of us when we wanted. And a great central location for viewing surrounding areas.

great for two couples

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was perfect for a couple with young baby and its grandparents. The two levels kept a crying baby from disturbing the other couple's sleep at another level.

The cottage was clean and well appointed. While there were other houses nearby the forest made the cottage feel fairly isolated. A delightful place.
