Chestnut Lodge is a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath cabin with great views and just the right size for a cozy getaway or a family retreat.
All RATES QUOTED are for the 2 BEDROOM option.
The cabin can also be rented as a 3 BEDROOM in the booking process. The additional KING bedroom is $35 per night.

The cabin will sleep 6 if you choose the 3 BEDROOM option.

The cabin has 2 King Size Bedroom Suites. One on main floor and and one on second floor. There is also a loft with a Sofa , Loveseat and an additional TV. Both bedrooms full baths so the cabin will accommodate 4 people. Enjoy the loft for some relaxing time with a book or turn on your favorite game on the 50" flat screen TV. Sneak to the one of the decks to rock your cares away and maybe catch an Elk grazing in the field. Bring your sweetheart or family for a tiny glimpse of paradise....Ahhh the view......

Picturesque setting with unobstructed year round wide open mountain views of the famous WATERROCK KNOB. The cabin has approximately 1808 sq feet of living area, plus it has a large wrap around deck in the front, back, and side. The cabin has rustic charm with an amazing views of Waterrock Knob from all windows. Custom stone fireplace turns on at the touch of a button, large loft and family room, and kitchen with granite counter tops. Relax on the wrap around porch and watch the lightning bugs and the Elk graze in the meadow with the mountains as a backdrop, simply beautiful. Both bedrooms have plush king beds.

We rent only to guests who are 25 years of age or older.

To secure your reservation there is a 50% Reservation Deposit by credit or debit card at the time of renting. Your remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to arrival. If you rent within 30 days of your stay, the total amount will be charged to your credit/debit card at the time of renting.

A RENTAL AGREEMENT MUST be SIGNED to RENT this CABIN.

This property is privately owned and managed by Camelle Reid owner of WILLOW TREE CABINS and is not managed by a Rental Company. I offer personal service since I own and maintain my Willow Tree Cabins myself. Rest assured you will not be disappointed.

A 60 DAY NOTICE IS REQUIRED FOR A FULL REFUND! NO EXCEPTIONS*** NO CREDITS***Please purchase the CFAR insurance upon booking to insure your trip in the case you need to cancel. A $100 FEE CANCELLATION will apply to ALL Reservations.

CANCELLATIONS. Refund exceptions will NOT be made outside of our standard cancelation policy for ANY REASON. PLEASE PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE.

Chestnut Lodge is extraordinary in comfort, decor, quality, in every way

This was our third stay at Chestnut Lodge. It is a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing home away from home. Everything is furnished, including snacks and Keurig pods. The house is immaculate and has all the necessary electronics. There's even an obliging herd of elk--10 that wander the area. We need and find peace and tranquility each time we visit; I hope we can keep returning.

Such a beautiful cabin and a peaceful setting

Everything was absolutely beautiful. After the year we have had so far losing our son in law, this place was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the quietness and beautiful setting. Loved out stay at Chestnut Lodge!

We’ve traveled to the Smokies for many years and only recently tried the Maggie Valley area. Chestnut Lodge is probably one of the best cabin rentals we’ve stayed at. All the furniture was updated and comfy. Since it was a little chilly we really liked using the gas fireplace. Fall colors were still beautiful and we watched the elk grazing in a nearby field. We can’t wait to return.

Perfect cabin

We've been coming to Maggie Valley for several years and usually stay in local motels. We opted to stay in a cabin this time and Camelle offered the perfect choice. So clean and the bed was extremely comfortable Loved the location! Beautiful views and even got to see elk grazing in the pasture across the street. We will definitely use Camelle for our next trip!

Wonderful

Chestnut Lodge is a wonderful place to stay! It is immaculate! Walking in the place you can feel the cleanliness. We have been coming to the mountains for the past five years always renting a cabin for 4-5 days, and this is by far the cleanest one we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful, roomy and clean! It has an amazing view of the meadow below to watch the elk. Can’t say enough about it. Very nice. Definitely will be back. Thanks Camelle.

Great cabin.

Chestnut Lodge was truly wonderful. The majestic views are breathtaking. The Lodge is beautifully furnished and equipped with every amenity. We especially enjoyed rocking our cares away on the porch. We had a great stay at this home. Everything was as described in the listing and met our needs perfectly. The location is very convenient. The owner was very responsive and helpful. And as we left on our last day, two large male elks were in the street, clashing their racks. Wow!

Cozy, comfortable and clean cabin!

Awesome place to stay

This was our 2nd time to stay at Chestnut Lodge and again, it did not disappoint. The cabin is immaculate, beds are comfortable, and it is stocked with all necessary items for an incredible visit. Elk viewing is amazing and the panoramic scenery is beautiful. Plan to come again at earliest opportunity.

Precious time with family

This beautiful cabin was exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms spacious, and the living area comfortable. The beautiful, massive Elks roaming around was a real treat. The location was walking distance to the main street, which had plenty of restaurants and shops to visit. The Chestnut Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains and close enough to many other attractions. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back.

Awesome 👌- Chestnut Lodge is fantastic

Hello Camelle, May we say, this is the 4th time we've stayed in one of your cabins, the 1st in Maggie Valley. What a pleasure it was for us to stay in Chestnut Lodge. We've come a long way from Ireland (the Emerald Isle), but everytime we come to this part of the United States, Deirdre, Anne and I are blown away. We've had restful evenings under the Southern Skies, such a great part of your country. We now move onto our next leg of our US journey, I.E. Nasville, but Chestnut Lodge and your hospitality will not be forgotten. Be under no illusion, we will be back. Hopefully soon. Thank you again. Chestnut Lodge was a welcome get away!

Chestnut Lodge was fabulous! It is in a great location. It is easy to access in the summer and the winter. We saw elk everyday coming down from the mountain to graze in the fields near the cabin. The cabin itself is beautiful and so clean! We are looking forward to visiting again!

It was a beautiful and comfortable cabin and location

Beautiful place, nice neighbors and close to the town. Weather worked out great. Neighborhood was beautiful and saw elk 3 times in the evenings. Would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting to spend time in the mountains. You helped make our 18th wedding anniversary perfect.👍

Wonderful Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation at Chestnut Lodge. Waking up each morning to Elk in the yard as such a cool experience. Close to all attractions. Make sure you ride the train in Bryson City. It was such a treat!

The Elk strike again!

Peaceful Respite

Chestnut Lodge is a beautiful cabin in Maggie Valley with stunning views of the mountains. We saw a number of elk which was an added treat. The cabin was spotless with every amenity you could imagine. The cabin was decorated beautifully and truly felt like a home away from home. My husband was recovering from a hospital stay and this respite was just what the doctor ordered. Camelle is a wonderful hostess, making sure all needs are met! I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a vacation in the mountains!

Wonderful home away from home

We've stayed in Maggie Valley at least a dozen times and this place was our favorite!! EVERYTHING was clean and the decor was so welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked and the TV actually had cable or satellite which we appreciated. We especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the deck as we watched the cows (and some elk) in the pasture as well as the mountain views all around. Thank you Camelle (and Julie)! We will definitely be back in the near future.

Willow Tree Cabins is a company I started because I wanted to manage my cabins myself so I could give PERSONAL SERVICE to my great guests. I own all five of may cabins so I want to make sure that all are maintained to the highest standards. I am from North Carolina and have lived in the mountains all my life. I bought this cabin in Maggie Valley because of the easy access to so many things to do. It is close my home in North Carolina so it's a great little weekend getaway. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It's cozy and unique in every way you can imagine...BEST OF ALL ~~ IT IS VERY CLEAN!!!

The thing I love most about staying at my cabin is that the feeling cozy comfort is all around. You never even have to leave the cabin if you just want to sit and relax. A desk table at one of the windows is the perfect spot to put my laptop when I need to do a little of my work. The back covered deck has rocking chairs to sit and rock the evening away. The early morning sunrise will take your breath away, as well as the smell of the cool morning dew.
