The house did not have a dish washer or a reasonably sized bed. For Texas standards could have done better.

I appreciate your feedback. There are two queen beds and one king bed in a two bedroom house. I’m not sure what you mean by Texas standard. It is clearly stated in the description that there is no dishwasher.

Very nice accommodations. Every we needed. The hosts have been very responsive throughout the process and if the property is available we will likely stay here when my friends from much farther out of town come for one of our Buchanan striper trips!

Lake Buchanan

This place was perfect for my son and his family. It is .2 miles from my house so this may become a regular rental for them when they visit. It is so accommodating for adults and kids.

Perfect weekend getaway

Property and water access was perfect. Owner communication was great. Amazing views and outdoor spots were some of of the best we have stayed at in this area. Will definitely be back.

My daughter and I stayed here in January to see Inks Lake State Park. We enjoyed everything about this house and property. The house was impeccably clean and welcoming. Our hosts were great, communicative, and helpful. We thought that the beds were the most comfortable that we've ever had on vacation. We would definitely stay here again.

Bluebonnet Festival

Just OK, I had problems locking both doors, Driving off main road was very bad. But the biggest flaw was Lake very low and unsightly stuff that belongs to the owner not removed and cleaned up, needs a fence because of bad dogs roaming!!! Pictures were very misleading! We liked Rena

Perfect Little Getaway!

The property itself is exactly as how it is depicted in the description and photos, it is a perfect little get away offering peace and quiet. The hosts were prompt and kind with any questions or requests we had while onsite. The views of the lake were amazing, along with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We were hoping to use kayaks while there, since this was in the description of the listing, and only learned the week of that they weren't part of the rental anymore. This was a minor setback, we still enjoyed our time there. One other small detail, not a big deal, but for anyone who is sensitive to cleanliness, some of the kitchen utensils need a good washing and it would be helpful to remove any used soaps from the bathroom prior to new arrivals. Other than that, we would stay there again!

Convenient location, central to Llano, Burnet, Marble Falls, etc. Lots to discover and adventure. Beautiful scenery, sunrise and sunset, super quiet. Beautiful property and felt private and remote. Water was low but still an easy walk and enjoyable view. Lots of birds.

Comfortable & Stylish Retreat!

Our family of adults had a relaxing retreat at Rena’s lakeside home. Lake Buchanan is very low at this time and we found it easier to launch our boat at nearby Inks Lake State Park where we’ve been before. We appreciated an early check in and Rena was quick to respond to our needs. The king bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the cozy living areas. There was a list of recommendations to eat and places to visit. Coopers BBQ in Llano should be added to the list :)

Rex and Rena bought the property in June of 2018 from a family that owned it for over 100 years. We both went to school in Austin and have owned family property in the Hill County for many years. We love it here! We made the move to Llano, TX in 2014 and have enjoyed this area full-time ever since.
