Su exclusivo edificio en forma de V y la pasarela de área común compartida en frente de cada condominio se prestan para conocer amigablemente la atmósfera de su vecino. Reuniones familiares, grandes grupos de personas que viajan juntas y familias individuales eligen esta propiedad a menudo. El patio tropical, la piscina y las áreas de parrillas le dan a Sandpiper un ambiente propio. Es una propiedad muy solicitada y tiene la mayoría de los huéspedes habituales.

You would think with spring break arriving the pool would have been checked out making sure it was in good working order. Kids were Very disappointed.

We regret that the pool heater wasn't working. A part is on order, and we are just waiting for its arrival, after which we will have the heater up and running immediately. In the meantime, we hope that you enjoyed your annual Sandpiper vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon entering the condo sofa cushions for miss placed. Pretzels were in the chairs and in the sofa and something was smashed in the carpet cockroach in the kitchen cockroach in their guest bathroom. Pillows smelled horrible and I had to go buy some new ones to use while we were there. We thoroughly cleaned before using anything. tub and toilets had not really been cleaned. Should have been refunded the cleaning fee since we did the cleaning.Other than that ,the view was beautiful. All appliances worked great. It’s still a great community at the Sandpiper.

Great place but choose your unit wisely

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandpiper is a wonderful place to getaway. It’s right on the beach, has a pool and is located close enough to restaurants. The outside areas are well kept, neat and clean. We’ve stayed at the Sandpiper several times lodging in different units each time. Some units are in great shape, some need some TLC. We stayed in 5A this time. It needs some TLC. It’s in need of updating. It is definitely warn down. It also wasn’t very clean. The frustration is that one of the costs you pay is a cleaning fee but the housekeeping service did a quick half job when cleaning the unit. We definitely recommend the Sandpiper, just would avoid unit 5A.

BASIC/MEDIOCRE accommodation in Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll start off with the good: 1) awesome location directly on beach. 2) heated pool open all year (I believe). 3) adequate parking off-street. 4) Away from ultra high-rises.And now the mediocre and bad: 1) Bender Realty didn't answer my pre-trip questions. 2) Property owner/Bender Realty do NOT stock the condo with NEEDED items. I ended up having to buy: toilet paper, trash sacks, kleenex (which in my opinion are STAPLES to any rental). 3) The condo also wasn't stocked with niceties like at least 2 or 3 coffee filters so I can make coffee before going grocery shopping, only ONE dishwasher table was furnished, NO hair dryer. 4) The balcony off of our unit (5A) looked directly over the parking lot and right at the wall of the bldg. next door. 5) 5A had a musty smell so I also had to purchase air freshener. 6) Bender Realty only gave us 1 key since we checked in late. No one told us we could have gotten more!

Thank you for your input. You are so correct - Sandpiper is in an awesome location, with great pool facilities. We regret that you were not able to get your questions answered before your stay. We left a message for you upon booking, the day of your arrival, and the day after your arrival in an attempt to inform you of your accommodations, the late check-in procedure, and the need to come by the office for your second key. We sincerely hope that you will call Bender Realty when you are ready to book a future visit, and we will do all that we can to answer any questions that you may have.

It would work well for a small family or 2 couples. Beware...the toilets do not flush well at all. They should definitely be replaced.

Sandpiper Unit 5A

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: UNIT 5A NEEDS to be remodel!! Worn furniture: couch sat very low to the ground, kitchen table has numerous scratches and there was a slimy film on the top(probably what was used for cleaning) you also could not open frig, had to move table closer to front door, light in corner flickered if you turned it on, TV was the size of a computer monito(did not work had to call maintenance), kitchen cabinet had handle falling off, coffee pot leaked, could not lift the toilet lid all the way in hall bath, when you pulled the lever on the shower faucet to turn on shower it pulled away from wall, towel bar fell off wall(Bender sent someone to fix right away), lighting in bathroom DATED, 2 random bar stools in master bedroom. Need new mattresses, pillows were thin, POSITIVE NOTE, THE AIR CONDITIONER WORKED WELL it was set on 67 and we could not get the thermostat to change, it was always COLD and the weather was HOT.Sandpiper does NOT give a discounted rental rate due to the condition of the unit, we rented a place in Gulf Shores for a week previously this year, but the unit was in MUCH better condition.Be aware that you are given ONE kitchen towel for your weeks stay and your bath towels are thin and small(BRING YOUR OWN!)The reason we were leasing from the Sandpiper was we were with a large(60+)group and everyone was staying at the project.Bender Realty is courteous and when we needed them they responded quickly.
