This stilt duplex TWO (2) bedrooms and TWO (2) baths (accommodating up to SIX (6), 1,230 living square footage. Plenty of car and boat trailer parking either under carport or on gravel next to unit. Porch has partial glass block wall for privacy (separating next door unit #1098068, also owned by us and option to rent both units together). Porch is great for enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking canal and viewing evening sunsets. Wi-Fi access, fully furnished, amenities featured are listed below including: 46" flat screen TV in living room, and 32" flat screen in master BR. Central Air and ceiling fans in all rooms, kitchen fully furnished with all you will need during your stay. 37.5’ of boat dockage on a 100' wide deep water canal with cement bulkhead (lights, electric, and water at dock.) + outside shower and bait freezer. Very easy access that leads to both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.
Use of Cabana Club (a short walk, drive or take advantage of club shuttle) 1/2 mile from Sunkeys rental which includes: ocean beach, heated pool, hot tub, showers, restrooms, poolside cocktail lounge, game room, fishing pier, and snack bar. Next door is full service

Take an evening stroll to Key Colony Beach "Sunset Park", where you can view the beautiful keys sunsets, and make sure you bring along your evening libations & your camera.
Also on KCB is a 9 hole PAR 3 golf, tennis, bocce ball, basketball court, pickle ball, horseshoe area, playgrounds, bike, walking and roller blade paths, boat rentals, snorkel & dive boats, and deep-sea fishing charter boats. RESTAURANTS ON KEY COLONY BEACH: Key Colony Inn, and Havana Jacks (all a short walk or drive). Sparky's Landing and The Island nearby.

Have owned and been renting this duplex since 1989. Our family and friends spent many vacations at Sunkeys, thoroughly enjoying many days there. Husband and I are now full time residents in Key Colony Beach.

Clean, comfortable and relaxing.
Just as the tittle states, this property is clean, comfortable and relaxing. We felt at home the moment we arrived. The accommodations are simple, but well maintained and nicely appointed. Did I mention clean? I stress this point because the place we had just come from on Big Pine was anything but. It really makes you appreciate people who look after their rentals and truly have their guests' best interest in mind. The owner, Gay, is also a pleasure. We hope to stay again.

First, I have stayed at this property several times over the years & found the previous 2 reviews to be extremely nit-picky & over-the-top negative. We had a very good experience. We found everything we needed in the kitchen (dishes, etc) as we did in rest of the unit. We were very comfortable & found unit to be clean & comfortable. Gay is a good communicator & was available to answer our questions. We enjoyed the area & walking to Key Colony Inn for dinners. Cabana Club is a real plus. Thank you Gay for sharing your home. We hope to come again next Spring.
Repairs Needed ASAP
We found this unit very dated and depressing. The bath tile floors were cracked, and in places rubble. The kitchen poorly outfitted, no cereal bowls, the cookware unusable, fridge was in terrible condition and without ice, reminders taped to walls to keep h/c on 78 degrees, unplug coffee, must be present to run dryer, all with threats of further charges. The boat dock was falling apart in need of serious repair . The master bed was like concrete.
Having stayed on 9th St 4 years ago at a property 3 doors away I was disappointed with this house. In comparison this was quite poor. The kitchen wasn't well equipped, the toaster didn't work. The mugs/cups and glasses were dirty. The PLASTIC cereal bowls are old, cracked and grey.Maybe were once white! Some ceiling lights/lamps didn't work at all. The kitchen badly needs renovating.The whole house is poorly equipped and needs modernisation. In comparison to our previous rental I would score this 2/10. We went into the rental office and were introduced to the owner who showed us round his office and said come into the back office and gave us some information and said "now this is what you are hear for"....I said we are not in a position to buy a property and he said "well let me tell you anyway" he clearly thought we were there to buy a holiday home. We had given no hint that this is why we were in KCB and clearly this was a waste of sales patter to us as we just wanted to get out in the sun and enjoy our day. He told us how much money he paid for the property and that he had purchased a house on 12th St. clearly this is not what we wanted to here-the fact that he told us how much money he has made when all the time we were thinking then spend some cash modernising the property you are renting to us at quite an expensive rate. The position is wonderful and really is the only selling point. The owners also own the joining property and our neighbours advised us they it was also needing modernisation and didn't have any bowls at all and had to eat cereal from a coffee mug and had complained to the rental office about the poor quality of the rental property and was told "how dare you"! by the agent. This was our 3rd visit to KCB - an area we love but we will not use this property or the booking office Keys Property rentals again. The agent was called Karen Liskey and she was rude to me on the emails. Next visit will be booked in Gail's who gave an excellent service, beautifully furnished property and a welcome bag-which was very welcome after a long flight from the UK. Even though I had advised Karen that would not be arriving until around 10pm I still had to mail her the day before to find out where the key would be! I think the agent needs to improve her customer service skills, the house badly needs some renovation and the owner needs to make visitors more welcome and not be boastful of money made from shabby holiday rentals. overall a disappointing house.

Thanks Gay for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your rental unit again. As always, it was neat, clean, bright and well equipped for any quest. The Keys are a favorite spot for our family to visit. We have been coming down for 30 plus years and enjoying morning coffee on the balcony, lazy days at the Cabana Club pool, fishing off the sea wall, good eats at all the local establishments, and resting our heads in great comfortable beds! Hope to see you again soon!

Thank you for renting your house to us. We love Key Colony Beach and your house was very clean and
spacious. It is in a great location and we were able to enjoy many of the things the Keys offers. My son especially loved fishing from the dock and my daughter loved swimming at the Cabana Club.
