This home features a master bedroom (Queen), second bedroom (2 Twins), full bath with tub/shower, full kitchen and living room / dining area opening onto a large covered lanai. Air conditioning units in both bedrooms and living room. Sit and dine on the shady deck and feel the tropical island breezes. This home includes an outside Hot/Cold shower, free WI-FI Internet access, cable sports channels and HI-Def Flat Screen TV.

Fire up the grill and sip your evening drink as you view spectacular sunsets from your outdoor dining area. Step down from your deck to a generous lawn area overlooking the beach.


Take stairs down to the small sandy beach with reef and tide pools to explore; walk east 100 yards to the right and find a swimming area protected by a barrier reef; continue walking east another 100 yards to the west end of beautiful Kawela Bay.

You won’t forget your experience on the North Shore with stunning ocean views; watching whales and giant surf in the winter, swimming and snorkeling in the summer, and soaking in beautiful sunsets year-round.

Wow what an amazing location. As a family of 4 with teenagers there was plenty of space. The beach right outside was great and lots to see in the rock pools. There was great beaches and plenty of activities nearby. It was nice to have some beach items like mats, snorkeling gear etc they came in really handy. Highly recommend staying here location location location, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

We had a fabulous stay at this beach front property!! The tide pools were really fun to walk around and see fish, eels, and hermit crabs! There was a nice rock wall separation from the ocean waves and we were able to hangout on floaties in the calm bay between the two. We would highlight recommend this property and are already looking for a time that we can come back!!

This cute cottage felt like the "old Hawaii" I remember from living there decades ago. Exceptionally clean, simple style- yet has all you could need for a wonderful stay! Very private which I appreciate. A perfect combination for relaxing and experiencing the North Shore at its best. The sunsets and beach views were exceptional! Loved the ability to grill and enjoy some home cooked meals.The communication with the host was excellent, check-in easy and he was prompt to respond to questions and/or a need. Easy check in after hours of flight delays. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful spot. Sunrises! Sunsets! Rainbows! All seen from the porch of this lovely vacation home. Equipped with beach toys, goggles, flippers, boogie boards. Saw turtles near shore as well as crabs and fish. Home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our two week stay. Definitely paradise.

We just completed 8 nights at this idyllic North Shore cottage. It was everything as advertised and much more. Clean and air conditioned, all modern amenities provided, just steps away from a beautiful Hawaiian beach and a clear view of the sunset every evening. World class snorkeling is minutes away at Shark's Cove & Turtle Bay, world class food trucks are minutes away in the other direction in Kuhuku, and world class surfing is literally out the back door with Velzyland & Bonsai in sight from the deck and Sunset and Waimea beaches a very short drive away! You'll need to try hard to find a better Oahu beach cottage. Marcello was great with communications and made sure we were happy. We're looking forward to our next visit already, maybe come back in the winter for the whales and the Big Surf.

Great stay!!

We stayed at Kawela Kai beach house for a week from 1-15-25 and were very pleased with the house. It was clean and everything that we had expected. Sarah was great in fulfilling a couple of requests we had and followed up with them promptly. The location was ideal for us being close to the area shrimp trucks and points of interest. If we return to the North Shore we hope this house will be available.

Cute Family Bungalow

We loved this house, area and overall experience. The beach below has little swimming spots if you walk about 500 feet. We felt at home and would come back! We were sad to leave.
