About Allie Simpson
I am an office manager for Conversion Properties, Inc. in Knoxville. Conversion Properties renovated and developed this property for the owners and we now manage it. They have entrusted me and Conversion Properties with this amazing place that I know you are going to love. Knoxville is a great town and Tailor Lofts is in the heart of it. I have lived in the Knoxville area for more than 25 years now and am most excited to be sharing Knoxville with people from all over. There are always fun things going on in Knoxville. Market Square, the Old City, and World's Fair Park always seem to have something happening. And then there is always Tennessee Football! The City of Knoxville offers hundreds of acres with outdoor opportunities in diverse park and green-way settings – including forests, flower-covered fields, quarry lakes, creeks, rivers, and exciting bluffs, many located within just a few minutes of downtown. The Smoky Mountains in all their splendor are right out our backdoor. They always refresh my soul. Whether it's a hike in the mountains, or a bike ride around Cades Cove there is no place I would rather be than East Tennessee!
Why Allie Simpson chose Downtown
Many Knoxvillians still refer to this building as the Arby's Building. Arby's did serve customers for more than three decades here. The building was completely renovated in 2014 and now houses nine apartments and Five Restaurant and Bar. This apartment is the owner's personal space which he has decided to rent out on a nightly basis.
What makes this Apartment unique
Just step outside Tailor Lofts and you are in the heart of downtown Knoxville. From concerts to canoeing, museums to music festivals, memories are made here in Knoxville. The city is home to a number of festivals, highly acclaimed museums, fantastic civil war sites, a world class zoo, and a unique Urban Wilderness that offers 1,000 acres of adventure within the city limits. You will find that Knoxville is also one of the most vibrant cities for live music. Music is on its streets and stages throughout the city. All of this just steps away from you when you stay at Tailor Lofts! NOTE!! If you are coming to Knoxville for a football game, there may be available, up to 4 tickets (and a parking pass) for an additional purchase price. Please check with Jeannie to see if these tickets are available for the weekend you are here

Great location and great property to have family & entertain, as there is 3 floors w/ the roof top
Easy to Navigate Knoxville and enjoy the dinning , shop and local landmarks. The only thing that irritated me, was the next door neighbors alarm went off every morning and woke me up. Whoever they are doesn’t wake up easy so it a drag. 5:45 every morning if you happen to have the big bedroom ( if you paid) it was disappointing.the third day I banged on the wall with my fist really hard 4 or 5 times and it stopped.
Otherwise it is definitely a 5 Star property.
Unique and spacious downtown loft that remains true to local character.
Great downtown setting!
I rented this loft for our wedding anniversary weekend. It is an amazing place to stay, especially with the revitalization of the downtown Knoxville area - there's always people around and something happening. Everything is just as described and shown in the pictures. My wife and our small group of friends that celebrated with us absolutely loved it and we had a blast. The property owner was easy to work with. We'll be back (hopefully soon!)
Outstanding Location and high-end unit
My family stayed in Tailor Lofts over the Memorial Day weekend. Family consists of Mom and Dad, two late 20's kids with one significant other.
The location could not have been better. This is our first trip to Knoxville, but it sounded cool to stay downtown. This unit is right in the middle of the urban vibe, with probably 20+ good restaurants within 2 blocks. Market Square one block away. The wedding we attended and reception were all within 4-5 blocks of easy walking, so we only Ubered once to an event maybe 12 blocks away.
There is a small convenience market in the next block, for basics. When we wanted more, we found the Three Rivers Market a short drive away, described as a mini-Whole Foods. We recommend it.
.Appointments in this unit are upscale, professionally decorated, new furnishings. Granite countertops (lots of space), upscale stainless appliances, huge windows, all made this place a very satisfying VRBO. Not forgetting the roof-top deck, which we used for after-party cool-down, and coffee in the AM. Jeannie, the property manage, was great to work with, very responsive to our numerous questions.
We originally thought the unit was pricey, but it delivered, as advertised, exactly what we wanted. We would say it was well worth the price, without hesitation. While we aren't likely to return to Knoxville any time soon, if we did return we wouldn't go anywhere else.

This property is amazing, a must stay location. It will not dissappoint.
Wonderful property, exactly as presented, great host, would definitely return
Beautiful, well-cared for property that is clean with all ultra-modern amenities. Good for groups, spacious, and conveniently located to everything you need (restaurants, bars, convenience stores, etc). Very walkable & central neighborhood. Exactly as advertised and great host. 5/5 would return.
Although you are in the heart of downtown Knoxville, you are only a 45 minute drive away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where there are wonderful hiking trails to enjoy. You are also just minutes away from what Knoxville's Urban Wilderness has to offer -- mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing...... Come visit Knoxville and be WOWED!
