The Space:

Snow settles quietly across the forested slopes of Blackcomb Mountain as evening lights glow through tall evergreens. Inside, warmth gathers around the fireplace while winter air drifts past the windows outside. After a day spent on the mountain, the pace slows naturally here, where the setting feels tucked away yet closely connected to Whistler’s energy.



The townhouse sits within the Painted Cliff complex on Blackcomb Mountain, offering ski-in/ski-out access when conditions allow, or a short walk to Merlin’s Run with access to the Blackcomb Gondola and Magic Chair. A nearby free shuttle makes trips into Whistler Village simple for dining, cafés, and après-ski stops. The setting balances forested quiet with easy access to the resort.



Living spaces

The main living area centers around a presto log indoor fireplace, with comfortable seating and large windows looking out to the surrounding trees. A separate TV room provides a second place to unwind, ideal for spreading out after a full day outdoors. Heating throughout the home keeps the space comfortable during winter stays, and portable fans are available during warmer periods.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals at home, with a dedicated dining table that seats six and a breakfast bar for two. Whether you’re starting the day with a quiet breakfast before first chair or gathering in the evening, the layout makes shared meals easy and relaxed.



Sleeping arrangements

Sleeping arrangements accommodate up to eight guests across multiple sleeping areas. Upstairs, the primary bedroom features a king bed, forest views, and a TV, with direct access to a shared bathroom. The secondary bedroom offers a king-split bed and TV. The den includes two sets of twin bunk beds, well-suited for kids or additional guests.



Bathrooms and laundry

There are two bathrooms in total. The upstairs bathroom includes a bathtub and heated floors, while the main-level bathroom has a glass-enclosed shower. Bathroom essentials are provided. An in-unit washer and dryer make it easy to refresh gear during longer stays.



Outdoor spaces and shared amenities

Step onto your private deck to take in the quiet mountain setting, with outdoor furniture and a BBQ available year-round. Within the Painted Cliff complex, guests also have access to a shared hot tub - a welcome way to unwind after time on the slopes.



Parking and access

Free parking is available in the garage on the premises, along with free street parking. The townhouse has a private entrance and self check-in via smart lock. Luggage dropoff is allowed for early arrivals or late departures, and long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome.



Neighborhood

Painted Cliff offers a calm, alpine atmosphere just above Whistler Village. In winter, skiing and snowboarding are the focus; in other seasons, the surrounding trails invite hiking and biking. Each day ends back in the quiet of the forest, where the mountains feel close and the pace naturally slows.



Disclaimer: Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. One designated parking space is provided in the underground parkade, along with access to the complex’s outdoor hot tub. Check-in is fully contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.

Tucked into the forested slopes of Blackcomb Mountain, Painted Cliff offers a serene ski-in/ski-out setting just minutes from the heart of Whistler. The peaceful location blends alpine seclusion with easy access to cafés, après-ski lounges, and the vibrant atmosphere of Whistler Village.



Getting Around:

• Direct access to Merlin’s ski run

• 15-minute walk to the Village Stroll

• 25-minute walk or 5-minute drive to Fresh Street grocery store

• 7-minute walk to Upper Village

• 15-minute walk to Chateau Fairmont Golf Course

• 20-minute walk or 5-minute cycle to Lost Lake

• Free shuttle to the village: walk to Painted Cliff Road and cross the road, the bus stop will be in the Cul De Sac going downhill



Other Things to Note:

• No air conditioning. Fans are supplied for all bedrooms

• Strictly no parties or events. To respect our neighbors, we have a strict no-party policy in this home

• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am

• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs

• Not pet-friendly. No pets are permitted in this home

Fantastic - next to ski slope, the upper village, and the bus

We had a wonderful time in early March hitting the slopes and enjoying Whistler. The home is very nicely appointed, with a cozy front living area with a TV, and a larger open concept living room, kitchen and dining room. It has a bit of a treehouse feel because there is no real view, just lots of trees out the window. The unit is super for ski access - it's about 30 meters to the ski run that takes you down to the upper village gondola. Very convenient. The complex is very quiet, the hot tub is nice and minimally used, and the garage parking is very close to the unit. All in all a great stay in a very nice and convenient unit.

Quiet little nook away from the riff raff

The description for the listing was as accurate as you get. The communication with the property manager was great! At no point did we need anything extra and they were extra communicative and prepared to attend to our needs. Great for couples looking for more of a quiet romantic getaway, or even with our small group of young kids away from the partying and noise. They only negative about the spot is coming and going on foot was tricky. It snowed a lot during our stay so walking downhill was challenging. Uphill even more so. We had to rely on the bus to get to the top of the hill.
