The cottage was a great getaway for my son and me. Conveniently located near the ORV ramps and a few great restaurants. The properties amenities were nice and despite being just off NC-12, it felt very secluded!
This was a great place to stay. The property was just as it was described in the listing. It was very neat and clean. I would definitely rent this again and recommend it to family and friends.
This cottage was perfect for our family. It had a great location, was super clean, and very comfortable. We appreciated the upgraded beds/bedding compared to many places we stayed. It felt like you were in the middle of an OBX dune despite being right off the road. My only minor suggestion are new knives for the kitchen. We enjoy cooking and they were very dull & hard to use. We cant wait to come back again!! Absolutely loved our stay
This 2 bedroom home and screened in porch was a gem of a find. Nestled among the trees yet close enough to hear the ocean waves was a truly relaxing spot. The home was spotless and cozy.
We usually camp at Frisco Woods, this house is very close by so we knew all about our location. I was worried about the square footage but it was absolutely perfect!!! Plenty of space and well equipt with everything we needed. The lay out was wide and accommodating. I especially enjoyed the screened in porch, we ate there for most meals.

Delightful cottage
We came to Frisco for a week of Sun n Fun. We got stuck with 4 days of rainy weather, but we rolled with the punches and made the most of it. We visited the various Lighthouses throughout the islands. Also did a lot of shopping and eating. We made it to the Aquarium one day up in Manteo. We loved our cottage. Is was as advertised!

Very Cozy Cottage!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cottage that was delightfully clean. It's nestled in some beautiful oaks, right off the main road. The road noise wasn't so bad, but we were a bit off season. The screened porch was a very relaxing place to listen to the breeze blow through the leaves during morning coffee or after returning from some adventures. We really appreciated thoughtful details like having lots of hooks and towel racks to hang towels to dry. Nice quality beach towels, bikes PLUS helmets, and even a sewing kit and first aid kit! There are some really nice beaches just a few minutes drive, and it was really easy to hop on the ferry for a day trip to Ocracoke. The Graveyard of the Atlantic museum was a fun and educational experience for our Third grader during spring break. We'd definitely consider this cottage a good option to return at some point in the future!
Adorable property, but challenging to find at night. Had to go back out for soap to take a shower the first night. Overall a good stay and had (almost) everything we needed!
Beautiful cottage! We loved staying here and hope to be back.

Small but cute
Our family of 4 stayed here and loved the updated interior, reliable Wi-Fi and the screened in porch was a beautiful spot to sip morning coffee. House was clean and all the appliances worked well. AC kept us plenty cool and in house laundry was great. Location was ok. And I do wish they had an outdoor shower. It overall a pretty spot to relax on the OBX.
The whole process was seamless. Tracy and Cheryl take great care of the place. The house is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. OBX is an amazing area !
Overall the cottage is really cute and the perfect size for a family of 3. We were in close proximity to the beach and about 10 min from a grocery store. We loved the screened in porch and the bikes! We were also able to check in early to the property which was great. The owner/property manager was so friendly and helpful and made every effort to allow us to check in early. The finishings in the cottage are really cute and comfortable. My only piece of critical feedback is to the cleanliness of the property. There was a lot of dust and some garbage left under the master bed and the spare bed. There were also cobwebs in a few of the rooms. I believe most rentals in OBX use a cleaning company so I would encourage the owners to ensure deep cleaning is happening between stays. Otherwise, a great stay with the family.
Just enough comfort without too many distractions. The screen porch is amazing, with just the right amount of sunlight during the day. So private. I imagine the traffic noise might be more noticeable during the popular summer months. In late April, it was so peaceful. Bikes are a welcome change to ride down Billy Mitchell Drive.

The place was perfect for us. Secluded with nice outside area for grilling and chilling. So close to beach ramp to drive on the beach. Cute grocery market really close by. The house was really clean and comfy. Everything you need is supplied in the house. We loved it.
