Was a great location for visiting the upper Olympic Peninsula. It was quiet, felt rural but had shopping and restaurants nearby. Our family liked each having their own bedroom and a kitchen, dining, living area we could prepare meals and hang out in.
Overall stay was very good…quiet, spacious, and good location. Items noted in the guest book were accurate; broken blind in living room, etc.. Garbage can in the garage was full when we arrived. Information regarding proper disposal of refuse would be helpful.
Lovely place. Spacious home with plenty of room! Host replied quickly when we had a need, sending supplies quickly. Deer wandered in and out of back yard. Nice view. Definitely recommend this VRBO!
Beautiful location with easy access to Olympic National Park. Stunning views from the windows kept us immersed in the scenery. We especially enjoyed our evening strolls. We would definitely come back.
This large family home was great for spending out and exploring the area. The spacious kitchen and bedrooms had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. A real treat to find vintage 8 track and music from our childhood. The neighborhood and space between neighbor properties was so open and relaxing. We saw deer bedding down in the field, which was such a treat. What an oasis.Check out JRs U pick garden for fresh veggies and flowers. Wish we had stopped the first night not the last!
This was a wonderful property to stay at while we explored Olympic National Park!! The kitchen was well stocked, extra pillows and blankets, very clean and cozy! The are around the house was also very quiet and nice. We were met by 2 deer in the yard and a friendly dog stopped to greet us.
The house was amazing and we loved it. The best part was deer grazing in the yard and the amazing views. The house was clean and comfy and had everything we needed!
We had a great time and enjoyed the large house! We had a view of mountains from the di ing area and could see Canada from the front windows...also had visits up close from the local wildlife! Well equipped and close to all the things we wanted to do!
We really enjoyed the house and the quiet setting. It was the perfect location for us to visit family in Sequim over the holidays and easily able to visit Olympic National Park. The four bedrooms were all good size and more than we needed. Also, the large yard is great. We would definitely stay here again.
We spent 5 nights at this property and had plenty of room to hang out together after spending our days exploring the area. The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared dinner most evenings.Highlights for us were exploring and hiking in Olympic National Park, spending a day in Victoria, BC (ferry), as well as a relaxing afternoon at nearby Olympic Cellars winery. We hope to be back!
We loved our stay at Lazy Bear Retreat house... it was perfect for our group of 5 .. 3 adults and 2 kids. Lots of space inside and out for the kids, and the kitchen/dining/living area was wonderful for hanging in the morning and evening, enjoying mountain views one direction and the Straits of Juan de Fuca in the other.
