Family-Friendly 3 BR House - Short Walk to Downtown Louisville, Trails & Park
Enjoy the privacy of your own house on a cul-de-sac in an excellent location in beautiful and fun Louisville, Colorado.
It's an easy (1 mile) walk to downtown Louisville, recognized as the best place to live in the US. Louisville has a quaint Main Street with great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping, regular and natural food grocery stores, amenities, and music. In the summer, there is also plenty of outdoor eating, a weekly Street Faire, weekly movies in the park, and a weekly Farmer's Market.
Around the corner is the large Louisville Community Park with a a pond, playground, dog park with water, basketball court, and BBQ amenities. There are also bike and hiking paths along a creek around the corner, Coal Creek Golf Course down the street, and many nearby tennis courts, all of which have great views of the Rocky Mountains and famous Flatirons.
You'll be able to walk or bike anywhere around Louisville, or take the bike/running path to Boulder. If you want to drive or take abundant public transportation or Uber, Lionsgate Event Center is 7 min.; Flatiron Crossing Mall is 10 min.; Boulder 12 min.; 1st Bank Center 15 min (& easy commute); Denver 30 min.; Eldora Ski Resort 45 min.
Accommodations include nice new furnishings in an updated house, with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 set of double/full bunk beds. The downstairs den has a couch and a double/full futon in a sitting area with a flat screen TV, Comcast cable, and an HDMI cable for use with your devices. You'll love the new whole house evaporative cooler and outdoor patio with table, chairs, grill, and firepit in the summer, the wood-burning fireplace in the winter, high-speed wireless internet, Bose wireless speaker for your music, comfortable furniture, in-house washer & dryer, and fenced yard. You'll have full access to one side (for 1 car) of a 2-car garage. (The other, separately walled in side is used for business storage with an occasional need for access to it, but should not be a disruption to your stay.) Kitchen includes cooking and eating necessities, coffee, tea, and other basics.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome (sorry, no cats) with a $25 fee per pet for extra cleaning so that the house is thoroughly clean for future guests who may have allergies. I ask that you pick up after them and that they do not get on the furniture.

Great VRBO located in nice neighborhood. Enjoyed the nearby trails, dog park, and cute downtown. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to Denver.
This property had everything we needed for our 10 day stay in the area. The house was very clean on arrival and the kitchen was well supplied, plenty of space for us and our adult kids. Could not have asked for a better location as it was in a quiet neighbourhood in close proximity to hiking/biking trails and downtown Louisville. Appreciated that it was dog friendly!
Super impressed with location and accommodation to our needs!
Our family of five was stuck with questionable weather and the hosts were so gracious to help us get in early! We loved the location and the short drive to get to all the sites! I was also very impressed with the detailed restaurant notes in the house.
Property was in the area we needed to be, was fully equipped for cooking, had plenty of space and owners went out of their way to help with questions! Definitely would stay there again!
House was nice and clean. Well stocked with all types of items you might need from kitchen wares to laundry detergent to dog leashes. Neighborhood was friendly and in a great location. We enjoyed a week long stay including making a complete Thanksgiving dinner while we were there.
The house was lovely, clean, quiet, and comfortable. We stayed for CU graduation and it was very convenient, especially with Ubers. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Highly recommend!
We have stayed here for the month of March for the last few years. It exceeds are expectations. The house fits all of needs especially the access to walking trails, a playground for the grandchildren who live nearby and the backyard for our dog. Kristen and Eric are great hosts

Liked: Communication
Quiet neighborhood and fairly convenient. The house was not particularly clean including an unflushed toilet, cobwebs in the bunk beds, and a number of spiders and weevils around the inside of the house.
The house was perfect for our stay at Colorado. It was centrally located for the colleges we toured. The house was clean and the manager was very easy to work with. Overall an excellent choice for our family of 4
We enjoyed our stay just 15 min from CU Boulder. We were here for a Family weekend. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Campus. We had everything we needed for the 3-night 4 day stay. The owners are very accommodating and respond quickly. If you like small towns, I highly recommend you check out Louisville, the people are very friendly.
Good communication with the owner. House in good standing. Great neighborhood if you have a dog : dog park around the corner and great walking trail 3 min away. Close to downtown where there are good restaurants.
We spent 3 weeks in Louisville and enjoyed visits with family from Washington and Colorado and celebrated our granddaughter 3rd birthday. The house was walking distance to great restaurants, walking trails and a great dog park and playground. Nice backyard for our dog . Overall a perfect place for us. Kristen.and Eric are great hosts.
Stayed with family from all over the country to watch our son graduate from CU Boulder. It was a quick drive to Boulder. This property has access to really nice, safe walking trails nearby. Downtown Louisville was lovely. Our host Kristen gave us some great recommendations for restaurants in the area.
We enjoyed our late December stay to visit our son and his fiancé in Louisville. Great location in cute Louisville, near Boulder and Denver and skiing. We even did some winter rock climbing outdoors since the weather was so temperate. The house was cute and clean and well-equipped, perfect size for our group of 4 with a bed to spare. In a nice neighborhood not far from downtown Louisville. Thanks so much!
Louisville Property- very dog friendly house & area
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect location as only a short walk to trails and dog park. Also ideal for visiting our two sons’ families and grandkids in Boulder and Denver. Owners very responsive to several questions including front door entry lock. May want to consider in living room and bedrooms higher wattage lightbulbs as current ones made it difficult to read.
Thanks so much for your hospitality!

Comfortable, warm and inviting.
We were fortunate to stay at this lovely home during Thanksgiving week and couldn't have been happier. The downstairs worked perfectly for our "mother in law suite" (she wanted to sleep in the double bunk bed!) Although we didn't have small kids with us, it would be a perfect place for anyone with little ones.
The kitchen was great, with almost all the amenities we needed to cook our Thanksgiving side dishes that we brought to our son's house who lives nearby.
Enjoyed wonderful walks on the local trails and to downtown, which was beautifully decorated for the holidays, for yummy food and beverages.
One tip - the hot water in the upstairs bathroom turns on/off the in the opposite direction. :)
Kudos to our host.
