Rotonda West - Trinity Palms Villa, A Spacious, Elegant Villa With It's Own Private Pool And Large Garden
About Tracey Compton
Hello, we are Barrie and Tracey Compton. We have 2 grown-up daughters and since they were little we have spent many years holidaying in Florida. Starting off in Orlando at the theme parks, but in recent years taking it easier on the Gulf Coast where we can kick back and relax. It has always been our dream to have our own home in Florida, and in 2013 this dream became a reality. We hope you will consider staying at our home in the sun.
Tracey Compton purchased this Villa in 2013
Why Tracey Compton chose Pinehurst
After many years of renting properties in Florida, in 2013 we decided to take the plunge and invest in a property of our own. We have come to love the Rotonda area with its beautiful, quiet beaches, parks and great dining and shopping. We have a growing family who love the area and see it as a home away from home. We like to think we have a very comfortable, well equipped home with everything you could possible need.
What makes this Villa unique
Our house is located on the deed restricted community of Rotonda West. There is a large selection of supermarkets within a very short drive, as well as beaches, restaurants and a multitude of golf courses. Both fresh and salt water fishing is available and deep sea charters can be booked. You couldn't wish for a better location for peace and quiet, but close enough to everything for those times when you fancy something else. We have an excellent local management company to look after our guests and make sure they are comfortable and help with any questions about local attractions and facilities.
Canceled bookings will not receive a refund
Florida style villa in a good location
The villa has everything you need for a family or couples stay. You don’t really need to venture further if you’re happy to sit by the private pool and prepare your meals on the large BBQ. However, if you do want an adventure, kayaking in two locations within 5 miles can provide dolphins, island beach access and a mangrove tunnel. The neighbourhood is very quiet yet easily accessible. There are plenty of places to eat out within a short drive and a selection of supermarkets for your own provisions.
The villa is only about 90 mins from Tampa airport and is very easy to find. I would recommend it to anyone wanting accommodation in this area
This was our second year in a row staying at this home & we love it so much that we’re signed up for next year as well. It is clean & well furnished & the pool area is private. Anytime we’ve had any questions they’ve been answered promptly. We recommend it highly.
A piece of paradise
Rotonda West is the perfect place for a vacation with beaches, shopping, nature trails, boating, wildlife etc. Trinity Palms villa is perfectly placed for all of these. The villa itself has everything for a home from home. 2 lounges for family life, 3 bedrooms, a large main suite with walk in wardrobe and walk in shower. All rooms have sliders to the lanai and pool deck. A great heated pool to swim whatever the weather. Double garage. We loved our stay and have already booked for next year and beyond. There is nowhere better to holiday and nowhere better to stay than here. Thank you Tracey.
Relaxation at its best
Your villa could be summed up in two words ‘Absolutely Fantastic’.
We’ve done nothing all week besides chilling out on your wonderful lanai. The peacefulness was sublime, what a location.
This is our second stay at Trinity Palms and like the first time we found the villa to be immaculate. The pool temperature was in the mid 80s and the air temperature was in the low 90s, what more could you want. We could have been 100 miles from the nearest villa, it was so peaceful, which is all we want on our holiday.
We can’t tell you anymore, because we didn’t do anything, which says so much for your wonderful home. Thank you.
Wonderful villa and holiday.
This is our third stay at this wonderful villa. Very beautifully equipped and the pool area is magnificent. So nice to find a buy some leave some system in the larder. Also the television system is one of the best we have experienced. Very local to beaches, shops, golf and restaurants. Tracey is a pleasure to deal with and we hope to do business again in the future.
A great villa !
We can't praise this villa too highly.
It has got everything that you could possibly require to relax & enjoy a vacation in
South West Florida and Tracey was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process.
We have stayed in the Rotonda area on several occasions and this villa is definitely as good as anything else we've previously rented.
If you want a stress free holiday in a well equipped & comfortable property , this villa should definitely be on your list !
Rotonda West is a well known vacation area. There are no big crowds here, just plenty of white sand lapped by the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, time to relax and get away from it all. But plenty on hand if the fancy takes you. Everything is close, generally 15 minutes by car.
Some of the local beaches throw up fossilised sharks teeth which are millions of years old, also great for fishing and manatee spotting.
A car is essential in this part of Florida.
Driving time to airports:

There are both saltwater and fresh fishing opportunities. Fishing in Rotonda West is catch and release. Licenses are required and the fish and bait stores will advise you on these and the best locations for the time of year you are visiting.
There are two local supermarkets within a short drive of our home. Publix is found at the junction of 776 and 771. A Winn Dixie is the closest and located on 776 at the Sunnybrook junction. Further along the 776 you will find a huge Wal-Mart. We thoroughly recommend a trip to the Dollar Tree for all your toiletries and detergents, these items can be ridiculously expensive when totted up. They also sell a surprising amount of food and cookery items.
For retail therapy, nearby Port Charlotte is only about 15 minutes by car and boasts a large mall. Dillard’s, Macy’s, Hollister, Hallmark and J C Penny’s are a few of the shops in this mall. A must, is a trip to the Miromar Outlet Mall at Fort Myers. Sarasota has some great Malls and is a lovely place to visit, particularly the marina.
These are plentiful on the Cape Haze Peninsular and offer the visitor an opportunity to see and experience nature at its best. One close by is the Myakka State Park which protects one of Florida’s most diverse natural areas: 45square miles of wetlands, prairies and woodlands. Myakka is popular for hiking, fishing, camping and wildlife observation. Here you will find the canopy
walkway culminating in the Tree Top Tower. Spectacular!!
If you fancy a trip to a theme park, Busch Gardens in Tampa is the closest. It is about a 90 minute drive away but well worth the trip. You can often get deals to get a 2nd day free or even all day dining for no extra charge. Look out for offers on the Busch Gardens website. Orlando is a little further and takes about 2.5 hours, it may be worth combining it with an overnight stay to get the most out of your day.
