This house served as the perfect getaway to enjoy nature in the Ashland area. We took full advantage of the 3 mile hikes around the property with our dogs and saw a lot of wildlife. The deck provided the perfect viewing platform. All amenities were excellent, including the grill and fully stocked kitchen. Thank you for sharing your retreat with us!
We had an excellent time. The cabin was perfect for 6 friends. It was in close proximity to the trail system and the heated garage was perfect for storing all our gear.
Family Get Away
We particularly enjoyed the space on the upper level. We had our 17 month old grandson with us on this trip. When not in the yard, he loved roaming around island. The kitchen was well equipped, I appreciated the Keurig ! The location also allowed my 17 year old granddaughter to practice drive, needs time behind the wheel.
It was perfect for day trips in the area. Staying a week, it seemed to be slower around some areas midweek.
Thanks again for welcoming us into your home.
We very much enjoyed our trip up to the property in Ashland. The house is located on a great piece of land which was very quiet and allowed us to unplug and get away for a weekend. The house was very spacious and clean. The owners were very responsive to questions during the booking process and while we were there. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet place with great atmosphere.
They property was well equipped with the essentials needed for camping. Location was located within a drive-able distance of Apostle Islands and Copper Falls State Park. Had a large group and we were able to pitch tents and enjoy the outdoors. Kahron was very fast at responding to questions about the place.
