La vida se mueve rápido, de vez en cuando necesitas disminuir la velocidad y disfrutar de un entorno más tranquilo. Eso es exactamente lo que encontrarás aquí en el Retiro Zen. Este condominio en el tercer piso ofrece a los huéspedes una gran vista del Golfo de México, así como también una hermosa vista del estanque privado del Beach Club. Desde el balcón del tercer piso puede ver la salida del sol sobre el golfo mientras toma su café de la mañana y luego disfruta de una agradable tarde fresca mientras el atardecer se pone en la dirección opuesta. Esta acogedora unidad cuenta con una moderna decoración costera y puede alojar fácilmente a 4 adultos con la cama tamaño queen en el dormitorio principal y el sofá cama tamaño queen.

COMPLEJO / COMUNIDAD
El complejo Beach Club ofrece una impresionante lista de servicios que incluyen: un gimnasio de 800 pies cuadrados, sauna seca, áreas de pícnic y parrillas para barbacoa. La piscina de aguas cristalinas también se calienta para disfrutar todo el año. WIFI está disponible en el centro de negocios, mirador y área de piscina.
Hay restaurantes convenientemente ubicados y tiendas de conveniencia cerca y el nuevo parque acuático Schlitterbahn está a poca distancia en automóvil. Los destinos locales populares como Bob Hall Pier y Packery Channel están a solo un cuarto de milla de distancia.

Really close to the beach

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was fine except for the beds, they need to upgrade the mattress and also the sofabed was so so uncomfortable. Also the pool need maintenance is super super duty. But other then that house have everything you need for 4 people.

The kitchen had everything we needed, there was ample storage space, the bedroom bed was very comfy.

Zen Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with the condo location, and condition. The staff was responsive to all of our needs. The only issues we had was that both windows screens were bent and would not keep fly's and other bugs out. The bed was not real comfortable and really close to the floor. Also next year we would like to be allowed to forward our mail to the condo address, we found that many other renters were allowed to do this.

We Loved It!

Extremely clean and modernized unit. We had a small issue with the kitchen sink but propert MGMT/Padre Escapes handled before we could change for our afternoon beach trip. Great place and exactly what we needed for my small family. Padre Escapes is top notch. This is a great alternative to AirBNB. They offer a variety of locations, price ranges and resorts.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was happy to find this at the last minute for a holiday weekend. It is close to the beach but you are not going to hear the waves from the porch. The property is 30 years old and the carpeting in the common area hallway may be original. The AC is very noisy and the kitchen is very small. It was very clean inside but the outside windows needed to be cleaned. Pool area very nice and checkin and checkout was a breeze.

Thank you for the feedback. It's a third floor property so you get a great view but unfortunately that makes it very difficult to clean the outside of the windows without a lift. The hallways are an HOA issue. Thank you again for the feedback.

The building we were in needed upkeep, especially in the stairwells. There was pieces of sheet rock missing from the ceiling in the stairwell. It was not something they were working on as we were there for thirty days and and nothing was done with it. It wasn’t a danger just not that applying as your coming and going. I would hope they will get that repaired at some point. When we go back to North Padre we would stay here again.

Needs Work

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were excited to stay in the property based on the pictures we'd seen. We arrive pretty late - after 10pm and when we walked into the unit we were hit with a very strong musty smell.I'm very allergic to mold/mildew so I did not have a good first night. We informed PadreEscapes who quickly got us into a much nicer unit. They handled all of this very well and saved our vacation. The unit has possibilities once they fix the HVAC/Mildew issue.

We apologize for this inconvenience, your stay was the first we've heard of such an issue. With all the rain we've had recently that is probably the biggest cause of the smell but we will have it inspected to make sure it is nothing further.

Fabuloso

Me gusto mucho la ubicación,y el lugar muy tranquilo y limpio. Había todo lo necesario para la estadía. La alberca con asadores fue muy conveniente. Lo unico que no me agrado fue que habia jovenes lanzando balones de fútbol americano en la alberca y le pegaban a la gente que estaba en la misma. Una pareja se adueño del jacuzzi ,puso su bocina a un lado y se queadaron por horas a tomar cerveza y no podíamos usarlo. De todo lo demas super genial.

Inside the condo waa nice and clean. Staircase and hallway to get inside were falling apart which i understand the struggles of storms. It was more of the brown stains of stuff seepping out of the holes and carpeted stairs that had so much debris and gunk on them. There was a sponge like someone started cleaning and gave up. It was very off putting for your first impression walking in.

The air vent right outside our room was missing the cover and the inside was covered in inches of dust and dirt. The inside of our room was nice and comfortable, but the air ducts were dirty. I'm allergic to mold so I had hives my entire stay. The hot tub was broke too.This place would be amazing with some maintenance.

It was pretty.. Close to the beach.. Efficient.. We didn't like the bed, saga to the middle and the couch was uncomfortable. Water pressure is horrible we figured that's out of their control.. Loved that they had beach toys..
