I moved to Bozeman in 2001 just by good luck. I absolutely love Montana, Bozeman, Downtown Bozeman, and all the opportunities for outdoor adventure that abound here. Great people, too. No wonder -- so many of us moved here for the great quality of life, and we're happy!
Jason purchased this House in 2007
Why Jason chose Bozeman
The good fortune continued and resulted in the Apple Treehouse being built in 2007 on a new lot that was created from the side yard of the house that I bought when I moved here. It was the first of my smart infill projects and is "green" in many respects (an infill project, small lot, small footprint, well insulated, solar hot water, solar electricity, green materials used throughout). Across the alley from the Apple Treehouse, I bought my neighbor's place in 2013 and have created two new small lots for quality infill, as well as fully restoring the historic brick house that was on it. The restoration project received a Historic Preservation Award from the City of Bozeman. Apple Treehouse version 2.0 was built across the alley in 2017 and is my current house.
What makes this House unique
Walk or ride Downtown! ALSO walk or ride to the NE neighborhood, Cannery District, and Fairgrounds! You will absolutely love Treeline Coffee and Wild Crumb Bakery. Enjoy craft beers at the Bozeman Brewing Company and Mountains Walking Brewery (and wood-fired pizza). Cannery District: Pizza Campania (also wood-fired), Lot G (creative brekkie and lunch), 406 Brewing, Wildrye Distilling. Enjoy mountain views from a house that is right Downtown! Enjoy the sunshine that comes into a house with 2nd-floor main living. Feel good about staying in a house that heats its own hot water and produces its own electricity.

Loved our experience
Jason was extremely accommodating- we booked his property last minute and he exceeded our expectations to make this work for us. What a beautiful home in Bozeman close to downtown, my family loved our stay, it was short but sweet- we were in town for a family wedding and this home was very clean, modern, Jason even had some amazing coffee beans he left for us to try, and some great suggestions of places to eat- if we visit Bozeman we will definitley stay here again, if it's available, my youngest daughter loved all the apples and plum trees, the loft was so cute - it was perfect for our little dog too. The fenced in backyard was perfect, we primarily slept here as we were at wedding events most of the day but for the little time we had in Bozeman, Jason was the perfect host and this home was above our expectations. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
Great home in a great part of Bozeman.
The home was immaculate, offering us all our needs. Great location to Downtown Bozeman. The design of the home and the amenities were exactly what we were looking for in a vacation rental. Thanks Jason for a great time!
All you could need
We are so thankful to have found Jason’s treehouse home in Bozeman for our girls trips. The rental is located less than 10 minute walk from downtown and all the restaurants/coffee shops/breweries you could ever ask for. The home itself was sparkling clean with all things you could need in the kitchen to make a nice meal. Jason was super responsive to our needs while staying in his home and offered great suggestions for local attractions. Thank you Jason for hosting us for the weekend in Bozeman!
Great house and location.
We stayed in this house and were so pleased. Not only is it really unique but all the necessities you need on your home away from home are provided. The house was clean and well stocked and we would definitely stay there again. A great place to stay.
Awesome location and house!
We loved our time at the Apple Tree House. It was exactly what we needed. Clean and had everything necessary for our stay of 6 weeks!
Our stay at Apple Tree House in Bozeman, MT was great. Jason was easy to communicate with and always responded to my questions promptly. We loved the modern, fun house and yard. Master bed was so comfortable. Location is a short walk to downtown main street through a lovely historic neighborhood. We all loved this home.
If you're staying in Bozeman, you will love being within walking distance of Downtown. If you stay on the North side or in the NE neighborhood, you'll also be within walking distance to the fantastic NE offerings, the best of which include Wild Crumb bakery, Treeline Coffee, Bozeman Brewing Company, and Cannery District (through the Fairgrounds, across Oak Street).
