Charming home across from pristine Pleasant Lake, New London

Our home awaits those who wish to get away and experience the beauty and serenity of quaint New London and its surrounding lakes, mountains, and State parks. Quaint town with eateries and shops. Nestled in a 5 acre secluded setting across a quiet road from Pleasant Lake. In Autumn, when leaves begin to fall, the lake can be seen and is quite beautiful. We have a shared private lake access and keep 2 kayaks and 1 canoe there, access is a short walk/drive from home. The trail to the access is steep in areas. You may also park your car on the side of the road near the access trail entrance. All gear is kept in mudroom. Guests are permitted to go to Pleasant Lake Beach, just a few min. drive away, great for children, life guards, picnic, play area and paddleboards available for use. Boat launch is there if you have a boat. Pleasant Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in NH, and offers wonderful boating, fishing and swimming. As a four season rental, there is so much to do! Hiking, Ice skating, snowmobiling, cross country skiing with many great trail systems. Close to Mount Sunapee and Ragged Mountain for summer adventure park and winter fun. Outdoor deck is wonderful and perfect for entertaining or seeking calm.

Our home is very private with trees on all sides. 1 bedroom and 1 half bath on the 1st floor with washer & dryer and dehumidifier. 2 bedrooms & 1 full bath on the 2nd floor with living room, fireplace, dining area and kitchen. Large deck with outdoor gas grill, table and chairs is off of the 2nd floor living & dining area. Kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you may need. Open floor plan with vaulted ceiling in main living area. Gorgeous leather furniture in living room, custom stone fireplace, Roku TV includes Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and HBOMax. High-speed Wifi internet access included. AC window units installed during the Summer in Bedroom #1 and Dining/Kitchen/Living Room areas (2nd floor).

3 bedrooms, very comfortable beds. Queen pullout sofa in living room. All bedrooms have Roku TVs include Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and HBOMax. All linens, towels and beach towels provided.

There is one motion activated security camera with lights outside by the garage. Garage and all contents in garage are for owners' use only!

The property was really nice. We had a great time. The host answered all my questions quickly and even gave us an early check in and late check out. Everything you could ever need was provided including kitchen equipment, extra pillows and blankets, etc. Really just a great house and location.

Awesome Retreat!

Great rental, centrally located on the road circling the lake and within a short distance of New London. With great weather for November and the rental provided amenities, we were still able to take relaxing and reviving bike rides around the lake as well as a few canoe trips over to Blueberry island. Plentiful parking and spacious deck / living room / kitchen allowed for local family members to visit comfortably. Clean, neat, organized with all the comforts of home including a fireplace w plenty of wood, TVs in every bedroom, bedding, cleaning supplies, and clear instructions / information. We all had a very enjoyable visit!

Great summer getaway

This home was a wonderful spot for our family. The house is well-appointed with everything you need for lake adventures including use of a canoe and kayaks. We spent a lot of time at the town beach which is close but needed to drive with the kids. The driveway is steep but the lot has some outdoor space for kids to play outside the home. It is also close enough to the downtown area with easy highway access.

Lovely location

Very cute, comfortable house. Great fireplace. Nice access to Pleasant Lake and easy to get to other scenic locations Nice and clean and very nice decor. The driveway is a bit steep but many houses around there are as well. Great house for skiing locations as well.

Great getaway in New London, NH

This was a great house situated near Pleasant Lake in New London, NH. The house was clean, comfortable, quiet and private, with a lovely deck. We enjoyed being there for 10 days, and only wished that it hadn't rained so much and that the access to the lake were a little closer and more accessible. We are active 60-somethings, but because of the wet weather, found the final steep descent to the lake a little slippery. We ended up using the canoe paddles as walking sticks to get down to the dock. It was also too challenging for us to get the canoe down to the water, but the very kind caretaker brought his son over and they put it in the water for us. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend this property!

Quaint and Cozy

This place nestled up in the woods was a perfect spot to get away from the woods. The deck is incredible and the fireplace is beautiful. My only issue was the hike to and from the dock. Between the steep driveway and steep path from the road to the dock my ankles were not happy with me. If you are in better shape I am sure it wouldn't be a problem. Overall loved this place it was the perfect getaway

Lovely New Hampshire Vacation House

Terrific location, convenient to New London, lakes, local beaches, and other amenities. Excellent modern heating and ventilation, modern washer/drier, beautiful modern kitchen, good plumbing. Hosts were generally prompt on response when I had questions. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay minutes from a quiet, beautiful lake!

The house was wonderful. Very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for dinner. Easy mile and a half walk to the public beach. Everyone living in the area was so warm and welcoming. Easy drive to so many attraction!

Wonderful deck!

The deck was fabulous -- spacious and comfortable and a beautiful view. Both upstairs bedrooms were wonderful. The whole house was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The water access was a bit of a walk, but this was not our priority so that was fine. A very enjoyable stay!

Great cozy vacation home.

We rented this house so we could ski for four days at Mt Sunapee. Everything was exactly as described. The mud room on 1st floor excellent when arriving home with wet boots, ski equipment and snowy jackets- loads of room! Beautiful fireplace and comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable leather couches in living room. We arrived during a big snow storm. Maribeth was on top of things making sure we knew where to park and that the driveway would be plowed after the snow storms. We were expecting another storm before we left and got in touch with her to see if we could stay, luckily no other visitors were due in and she gladly gave us the go ahead to stay and take our time so we could drive back to NJ safely. I would recommend this home to all and I know we are coming back in spring or summer, beautiful porch overlooking the lake. Thank you again Maribeth for all your help during our stay. Donna

Beautiful setting close to ski resort

Family of five had a fabulous long weekend here. House is very well appointed with high quality kitchenware, linens and everything in great working order. Stone fireplace is gorgeous and views from deck over lake are tranquil. Maribeth the owner was extremely responsive with a small issue we had and resolved it promptly and in good spirit.

Great winter location for skiing

The house was immaculate. Detailed notes were left about an upcoming snowstorm. Comfy beds. 2nd bedroom now has a double and twin bed, but as rooms are large was not cramped feeling. Downstairs entrance gave lots of room for snow clothes and boots. Washer and dryer were useful! Would recommend to other small families or 2 couples. Nothing was missing for a relaxing place to acres ski,

I feel the this home has very special energy, waking up to the secluded setting of trees and the magical lake across the way is spectacular. You know how when you travel to a place that really touches your soul deeply, that's what I find here. I am truly blessed, and those who have the opportunity to stay here will know what I mean. :-)
