Plum Island Guest Cottage Con vistas al agua

Vienen a quedarse en mi tranquila y apacible casa de huéspedes. Esta singular casa está en un callejón sin salida situado en el lado oeste de la isla del ciruelo Cuenca. La casa se encuentra en una pequeña zona boscosa con vistas a la cuenca y mi casa con jardines prístinos. Plum Island es un lugar único con algunas de las mejores playas de Nueva Inglaterra. Es sólo unos pasos de la de un lavabo de marea, disfrutar viendo la marea entra y sale dos veces al día. Traiga su kayak para dos ventanas de 6 horas de marea alta. Impresionante ubicación Paddle embarque! Aliento en la brisa fresca del aire salado. Es una casa pequeña con una gran sensación. techos abovedados todo alrededor. Un buen tamaño cocina abierta, con todo lo necesario y un bar magnífico madera de cerezo. Cómodos asientos para cuatro personas. Lavadora y secadora. Cama matrimonial con un vestidor. El dormitorio es un concepto abierto sin puerta (similar a un traje de hotel). Hay una cama de retirada de la reina en la sala de estar. Suelo de bambú. Hay una televisión de alta definición y un equipo de música. Wifi proporcionado. Se puede conducir un par de millas en el hermoso centro de Newburyport donde hay muchos restaurantes, bares y tiendas. Sólo una milla al sur es mucho Reserva Nacional de Vida Silvestre 9 millas con magníficas playas y rutas de paseo marítimo. Más allá de que es propiedad del Estado de Sandy Point Beach vistas al castillo de grúas. Esta playa es impresionante, así! Plum Island playas están a unos diez minutos a pie. Traer su bicicleta para algunos fantástico ciclismo. Usted no va a querer salir. Es verdaderamente un lugar especial.

The cottage was delightful, a perfect place for the two of us and our two dogs. It had everything we needed and more. Located on a quiet dead end street, in a very friendly neighborhood. Steve is a gracious and personable host, we really enjoyed meeting him. It was close to the refuge where we spent many hours birding, we will certainly return!

Wonderful little cottage for 2 people. Great neighborhood. Dead end street quiet and safe for dog. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to Plum Island center (restaurant/bars, groceries, ice cream shop, fishing tackle, clothing). Very near beautiful beach at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. 10 minute drive to Newburyport ... lots to do.

Steve is an exceptional host. The cottage is clean and has a nice, open, airy feel. We had all the amenities we needed. Steve has a nice attention to detail, stocking all necessary items for a pleasant and comfortable stay. It is a quiet and friendly neighborhood in a nice area.

Quaint Cottage by the Sea

My husband, dog, and I enjoyed our peaceful week at Steve’s cottage. We loved starting our day drinking coffee on the Adirondack chairs on the front porch listening to the birds. The location was perfect, close to downtown Newburyport and the beach. We had a comfortable stay and Steve is a great host. Be sure to watch the sunset from The Sunset Club at the end of the road and get breakfast from Mad Martha’s.

Plum Island Gem

Steve's house is just lovely. Wonderful location on Plum Island, and all the essentials for a wonderful stay. We couldn't have wished for a better week, or better lodgings. And we both felt that we'd known Steve for years, even though we'd just met.

Quiet, comfortable and enjoyable.

Great place to relax. Enjoyed the beaches and the wildlife refuge. Appreciated all the nice touches throughout, but especially in the kitchen, great dishes, glassware, etc. Steve was a great host!

Plum Island magic

Even though we had some rain, Steve’s little slice of Plum Island heaven was warm and cozy! Great location, lotsa places to walk to, and easy to drive to other great spots. The guest house might feel small to some, but we had two adult women and a dog and never felt claustrophobic. Steve was great, available if needed, but still gave us our privacy. The entire time was simply magical!

Quiet Cottage Getaway

Perfectly provided 1-2 person attractive small cottage on a small lot on small street, quiet and friendly, but no view. Kitchen has no dish pan nor 2 person coffee maker( I hate Geuriig). Lots of shade (thank God), and adjoining friendly landlord provides window A/C by July or request.

We had an amazing two week stay. The air is so fresh on Plum Island.

Steve's cottage is perfect. He has it well stocked with everything you need and it's very comfortable to hang out in. Morning sunrise over the river is so beautiful. We loved walking to the end of the road for sunsets. He lives on the most friendly street and we look forward to talking with his neighbors again next year. We did a lot of site sightseeing on Plum Island, Newbury, and every Beautiful Beach along the way. We really enjoyed getting takeout from Loretta in Newburyport, Outdoor dining at Bob Lobster and Woodsman's. Thank you, Steve, for being a perfect host!

The cottage is a true gem

This place is great all around, it was designed with thought and has the comforting rustic New England charm. Note that the mattress is on the soft side so if you have a bad back, that might be an issue. Otherwise you’ll be plenty comfortable.The location is prime; with direct access to the bay and an easy walk to the ocean and river. Great spot for all water sports and with beautiful, quieter beaches around. The neiborhood is friendly and none intrusive. All in all, it was exactly what I was hoping to find.It was super nice to meet Steve. Great guy, was not around much but made sure I not hesitate to reach out if I needed anything. Even came out to help me tighten up the kayak to the car before I left. Unfortunately, the weather went from spring to fall for the week. I was there so that put a big dent on my plans. I would’ve extended my stay if someone hadn’t already snatched up the place. I will most definitely return!

The guest cottage is very comfortable and Steve is a wonderful host. The location is perfect to enjoy the entire island, Newburyport, and the surrounding shore line - including, most of all, Parker River National Wildlife Refuge - absolutely incredible experience !

Great Plum Island retreat!

My husband and I spent a week at this lovely cottage on Plum Island. Steve supplied everything that was promised and everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The location of the cottage is just right… close to the natural beauty of Plum Island and very close to Newburyport with its many shops and great restaurants. It is also located within an hours drive of many beautiful seaside towns such as Salem, MA, Portsmouth, NH, and Ogunquit, ME. We had a great time! Thank You!

My name is Steve. I have lived here on plum island for 26 fantastic years. Plum island is an enchanting place with a very special feel to it. I came here in 1992 and never left! You won't want to leave either.

This is one of the increasingly scarce old plum island cottages left. It has been updated with a new & modern interior. The house has a real beachy feel to it. The neighborhood as quiet and tranquil as can be. Very Relaxing.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It has a unique wooded setting that is like no other here on Plum Island. This location is extremely quiet and tranquil as it located at the end of a dead end street against the Basin. Lots of interesting birds due to the amount of trees around the property. Quick access to some stunning beaches. Awesome Paddle Boarding or Kayaking property, just steps to the Tidal Basin, or venture back to the Great Marsh!
