Hermosa casa ubicada a 2 cuadras de la playa con escalera pública que brinda acceso directo a Alki, con transporte público y transporte gratuito en taxi acuático. Limpio y actualizado 3 dormitorios 1. 75 baños hogar con fantásticas vistas. El piso superior tiene baño completo con bañera de hidromasaje y dos habitaciones, una con cama Queen y otra habitación con dos camas individuales. Ambas habitaciones tienen excelentes vistas panorámicas de la playa, el sonido y las montañas. El piso principal tiene una bonita cocina actualizada con vistas al agua ya la montaña, estufa a gas. La sala de estar y el comedor tienen vistas al agua y a la montaña, puertas francesas a la gran terraza con barbacoa de gas, mesa y sillas. El sótano está configurado como una suite principal de puerta abierta con cama queen y sofá cama queen con colchón de espuma viscoelástica, baño de 3/4 con pisos con calefacción y ducha grande. También del maestro tiene puertas francesas para bajar el patio con sillas y espacio de jardín.

Nice little house, comfy beds

Updated house was clean with plenty of kitchen and laundry supplies, the owners were quick to respond, and neighborhood was quiet. Living area has a lot of natural light. Bedrooms have nice (somewhat distant) views of the Sound. The walk to the beach is down several flights of stairs, but also within a short drive. Our only complaint was that the upstairs bedpillows could use an update; hopefully they will for the next guests! Nice place.

Breathtaking views

The cottage is so cute and quaint. The location was perfect. There were stairs leading straight to the beach which we utilized often. Proximity to downtown and Alki beach was great. The cottage had parking, great views, and was very serene. A/C was appreciated on the warmer days. The only thing to be aware is that the streets are narrow, and can be challenging at times, but I would def stay here again.

Alki beach bums

Great place with easy access to the beach. 2 days of hanging at the beach then over to Seattle a day for Foo Fighters made this place a perfect location!

Lovely family stay

This house worked great for our three kids and us. You can walk to the beach easily. The streets are a little gnarly for driving, but the views from the house are absolutely gorgeous.

Alki Beach

Our family enjoyed everything about our rental house, the view, deck with a grill, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen since we cooked many nights and easy access by walking to Alki Beach. So many great adventures so close, whale watching, Mt Rainer hiking, swimming and fire pits at Alki Beach. Our host was helpful and highly responsive.

Family reunion

Great location for visiting Seattle. Water taxi (ferry) is a 20 min walk or 8 mins on a Lime bike/scooter (there are lots available). Alki beach has volleyball and kayaks and several eateries. House has 2 balconies, top one off bedroom has stunning views. Separate double bedroom on lower ground floor with own bathroom is great for bigger groups. Would stay again for sure if in the area again.

Seattle get away

All went great but we did have a slight issue finding the house, lol. House was all we needed. If only the trees were shorter we would be able to view the sound from the 1st balcony. Thank you again Dale for a wonderful home.

Great area and home

Nice spacious home in a safe West Seattle neighborhood. Well equipped home with lots of utensils, spices etc in the kitchen. Sadly the view from the main deck is obscured by trees and another home. The beach access is an exillerating 175 steps! Lots of restaurants and cafes etc on the beach area. Free local bus service which takes you to a water taxi to downtown. A really nice, comfortable property, and we would stay here again.

Excellent location and well appointed retreat

Spent a week at location. The views from the house are fantastic. The location is very convenient to sightsee all over Seattle and get from/to the airport. Alki Beach itself is only mildly interesting and disappointingly loud at night (motorbikes, cars revving). The house and its amenities, as well as it views, were the highlight of the stay in Alki Beach. The access to Seattle is excellent. Communication with owner was great. Strongly recommend!

Comfortable and nice views!

Spent three days here with my spouse and 2 (almost 3) year old. The house had everything we needed. We really appreciated the toys that were available and even though my little one slept in one of the twin beds, there was a pack n play if we had needed it! Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the AC throughout the house kept rooms at a nice temp at night. The views were amazing and the stairs down the hill made it super easy to go to the beach or walk to get food. Would definitely stay here again!

West Seattle house

Nice house and very comfortable. Convenient for travelers who want to stay close to Seattle sites without staying downtown. Narrow, hilly streets were a little tricky to navigate. Would stay there again.

Beautiful place

Dale was great to communicate with, and the views from his house are beautiful! We loved the area and the space we had in the house for our family. The only downside for us was the bed upstairs was hard and uncomfortable, so my husband and I didn’t get a lot of sleep. Also, the dishes in the cabinet were dirty, so we had to run a load before we ate there. But overall, we enjoyed our time at Alki beach and exploring Seattle.

Wonderful Alki beach house

Perfect for our family of five. Easy walk down the stairs to the beach and access to multiple restaurants. Had a hard time finding it at first and Dale was easily reachable and responsive all weekend. Perfect accommodations and great views for exploring the Seattle area.

Wonderful stay

Scenic Serenity

Perfect views of the sound with the mountains on the horizon in a very attractive and comfortable setting. The single lane roads were not too challenging getting there, and the carport was easy to access. The arrangements were very welcoming and even with our group of 8 there was plenty of space.

Perfect views

Having stayed in several other sections of Seattle on different trips, this is definitely the best way to see a different side of Seattle and yet be close enough to easily enjoy what downtown and the waterfront has to offer. The views from this property are just wonderful, the path/trail along the beach/waterfront beautiful to take a nice walk on and enjoy the bay/sound and city skyline…and a short walk or drive to the water taxi takes you to downtown city in 15 minutes!! The ferry taxi itself was immensely enjoyable. Both Queen/king sized bedrooms were very comfortable, albeit a bit tight for room, but the little porch off the upstairs one with it’s incredible views made up for that! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and dining in, and there was even a nice tablecloth on the dining table making it feel homey and lovely. Only drawback is the extremely tight and narrow as well as steep and curvy streets to get in and out. Def do NOT recommend a van or similar sized vehicle, altho we made it work. Overall def recommend as a more laid back way to stay in Seattle vs. downtown.

Great house, close to the beach

Our stay was amazing. The house was clean and very nicely furnished. The deck gives way to an amazing view and the beach is a short walk down some stairs. There's plenty of great food options nearby as well.

Alki House

The stay was pleasant. We enjoyed the house. Friends and family also enjoyed visiting the house. Alki is a great neighborhood. Excellent location next to the stairs leading to the beach.

We purchased this home in 2005 one month before we got married and then went through a 3 year remodel taking the home down to the studs with new wiring, plumbing, windows, doors, floors and more. We raised two boys in our home and we enjoyed the views, beach, neighborhood and neighbors. We purchased a home close by to begin a new remodel project.

The view from this home is wonderful. The dead end street is like being away from the city with off street covered parking for one car, or two small cars and usually plenty of street parking for a few more even during the busy summer years. People who drive on this road either live here, visiting our awesome neighbors or are lost. One doesn't just drive our road to get somewhere.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We fell in love with the view, character of the home and amazing street. You do not feel like you are close to the city and we see eagles, blue heron, osprey and I even saw an orca whale from my upper floor bedroom window.
