5 star Town Charmer with 'Open Concept' & updated baths, close to harbor

Our Weymouth Lane 'in town' 4-bedroom house is much larger then it appears from the street/pictures. It has a large, open concept living, dining & gourmet kitchen area with airy cathedral ceilings. It's the perfect combination of a Nantucket beach home and historic gem. The large open concept portion was added as an addition providing a more updated feel. The house has central air & Wifi throughout the house. We are just a 5 minute picturesque walk to the center of town, nestled in the beautiful historic district of Nantucket. Our street is a one way and very quiet, situated between Orange and Union Streets. Often referred to by Nantucketers as one of their favorite streets. We are also a two minute walk to the beautiful Francis Street harbor and Great Harbor Yacht Club.

The front portion of the home has been renovated and dates back to 1850. All of the bathrooms have been renovated and are sleek and modern. The bright kitchen features a new white Carrara marble island, Sub Zero refrigerator, wine refrigerator & Wolf gas range. It's stocked with high-end cookware, loads of kitchen tools & accessories. As well, there are plenty of platters, bowls, placemats for entertaining. There is a large table for family dining that seats 8 people. Dutch doors in the kitchen with beautiful wood floors and great details add to the charm of the home.

The family room which is connected to the kitchen, is a spacious spot for entertaining or watching TV. New TV built-ins center the family room that is decorated with white slipcovered sofas creating a fresh and clean feel. There is a Sonos sound system, DVD player with lots of movies for raining days as well as a Wii console with lots of accompanying games, playing cards, board games, puzzles and of course Nantucketoply.

Down an open hall, you will find a warm and inviting living room with a fireplace, perfect for reading a book after a long day at the beach. There is desk set up in the living room if you need a spot to catch up on work. Off the living room is the first floor bath with an updated shower and laundry room. This is where you will find our large supply of beach towels for your use. The master king bedroom is on the first floor with a lovely updated full bathroom with tub for bathing and shower. All bedrooms upstairs and down have flat screen TV's with cable access.
The upstairs has beautiful original pine floors. There are 3 queen bedrooms upstairs that share an updated bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms you must access through a front bedroom. All bedrooms have custom built-in drawers and closets. The large bathroom with shower off the living room downstairs serves as a perfect additional bathroom to use when several people are getting ready to go out. The outdoor shower is also a favorite summer alternative!

The large brick patio is perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing on the new Kingsley Bates outdoor lounge furniture. There is a large gas grill for creating family meals. We have parking available for 1 car. There is a small side yard that leads to the outdoor shower and stairs to the basement. In the basement, we have plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. We are located just minutes from Nantucket's favorite Sayle's Seafood and a Cumberland Farms on Orange Street. Perfect for grabbing quick essentials.

Since we are so close to town, you can visit the island without car and you will be fine.
We love since we can walk to get coffee, go to dinner or mill around the stores very easily. If you need a cab or uber they are very plentiful and will be at the house in minutes. We look forward to sharing our home with you! Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Note about our cancelation policy from our LEASE:
That TENANT cancellations must be made by notifying the OWNERS via certified mail. If it necessary of TENANT to cancel a reservation and the period is re-rented at the same rate, TENANT will receive a refund from the LANDLORD, less a cancellation fee of 20% of gross rental. LANDLORD will make every effort to find a replacement TENANT. If the cancelled period cannot be re-rented, the entire amount collected shall be forfeited. The amounts forfeited shall be considered liquidated damages.

Please be aware, Nantucket recently has seen an increase of people posing to be 'property managers' that represent homes and will send send you links of homes and say they work for the owners, and can handle payment, etc. This is a complete SCAM. **We DO NOT have a property manager and WE are the only ones that will correspond with you about our home. Only correspond through the VRBO email system to ensure this doesn't happen to you.
