We absolutely loved this place! It was very nicely decorated and immaculate! Very peaceful. Nice touches including the DVDs and speaker on the front porch! Enjoyed playing horseshoes and kids enjoyed all the acreage! Very comfortable and relaxing stay!
Thank you so much. Come back anytime
Very peaceful and private
We really enjoyed our weekend at your cottage. The stereo speakers outside were a nice touch. All the comforts of home plus a stream with a small waterfall. We will certainly be back.
Thank you and we hope you will return
Loved the location of this place. Very secluded with the only sounds being the steady hum of the creek and the song of the whip-or-will. Great place to star gaze, run barefoot in the grass and disconnect from things. As much as we loved it in the summer, I think it would be just as beautiful in the winter (provided you had a 4x4 to get in and out).
Thank you and please come back
Peaceful Getaway Spot
This cottage is set in a very peaceful area away from street noise yet close enough to town to get some groceries. The babbling brook was very relaxing. Because of the rainy weather, parking for our large truck was a bit tricky as we had to stay up on the path (it is paved when you get closer to the cottage).
I loved my stay here. Everything you could need, and it's beautiful. Almost Heaven : )
My husband & I stayed in this charming cabin for our 34th wedding anniversary. When we walked in, we felt at home. If you like antiques, this is the place for you. I really enjoyed cooking on the old stove. It was a little cool during our visit so we relaxed by the fire place watching a movie. When you're sitting on the front porch, you hear the babbling creek that could put you to sleep.
As a warning, there isn't much to do in the area. If you're planing your trip, we highly recommend taking a truck or SUV. The driveway is long and has big rocks. It was rainy so we stopped at the top of the hill to turn around and back down the driveway so we could get out easier.
We highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing weekend.
