From there, it's just a few minutes to Charlotte Harbor, Pine Island Sound and the gulf for some of the most sought after fishing in the world. As a member of the community, Bocilla Island Club offers full access to two pools, tennis courts, shuffle board and clubhouse.
Step across the street onto the club's 40' private pier in Charlotte Harbor to fish or enjoy spectacular sunsets (or sunrises) while sipping a beverage or watching dolphins frolic. Whether watching the marine life, dipping a fishing line into the sea or watching birds hunt for their meals, the smell of the salt water and lullaby of the waves soothe away the worries of the world.
Funky art galleries and boutiques exploit the ambience of Old Florida. You'll find quaint and up-scale dining locales, from casual water-front hangouts to the up-scale Tarpon Lodge. Pine Island has some of the best and freshest seafood eateries.
Charlotte Harbor, Boca Grande Pass and Pine Island Sound offer diverse fishing experiences (tarpon, snook, redfish, snapper) and boat rentals/local guides are easily reserved. There's also 190-miles of kayak trails via the Great Calusa Blueways Paddling Trails and daily nature and shelling cruises to Cayo Costa, Captiva, Boca Grande and Sanibel.
