About Robin Smith
We are Colorado Natives growing up in Lakewood Colorado. We currently live in Golden CO.
Robin Smith purchased this Cabin in 1942
Why Robin Smith chose Estes Park
This property was built by my Grandfather in the 1940's and has passed to my mother and we have primarily used this as a family cabin exclusively. We decided to open the cabin up to the public due to my mothers ill health and limited use.
What makes this Cabin unique
Very Private location with amazing views off the large deck facing the National Park. We have done significant improvements to the property over the last 15 years to make it more and more relaxing and enjoyable. We are very close to the National park entrance (3 Miles) and to downtown Estes Park (3 Miles) We have a hot tub that looks out toward the National Park located on the deck to the right of the large deck. We offer Free Wifi, and Cable.

Great place. Very convenient to town and RMNP. We hope to stay here again
I really can’t think of any one thing that should be improved on the perfect place for me to relax and enjoy life
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again sometime.
Solitude and Amazing Views
We spent a wonderful nine nights at Pallady Pines. The cabin is warm, cozy, and inviting. We received a wonderful surprise — seven inches of snow. We are from SE Texas and truly enjoyed setting by a beautiful fireplace with a roaring fire watching it snow. The cabin is close to town and RMNP, but is very private. The deck offers wonderful views of the valley. Deer visited us most mornings and what a view watching them in the snow. Elk were just around the bend one evening and all over the town. We normally travel in our fifth wheel, but we have fallen in love with Pallady Pines. We will be back. The owners were very responsive and helpful during our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin.
Janet, Thank you for your kind review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and look forward to future visits.
As before, great facility with outstanding rear deck and view, RMNP beautiful despite no moose sightings.
Sorry about the moose, assume you went over to Grand Lake to see them. Were glad you enjoyed your stay. Come Again.
Ideal stay at Estes Park
We had a wonderful time in the cabin. We were greeted by 2 adorable humming birds as soon as we arrived. The views were incredible. The jaccuzzi was a perfect way to end the day after hiking for a few hours. The cabin is stocked with everything you need. The food in Estes Park was great and everyone we met was very nice and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay very much and can't wait to visit again!
Thanks Lissete we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope you can make it back our way again.
Wonderful, Relaxing, with a Great View!
This summer was our 4th year in a row to vacation in Estes Park. Every summer we have stayed in a different location/area and house. Well no more! We have now found a perfect house for us. My family fell in love with the deck and the views. We also loved the fountain next to the deck that flowed down to the little pond next to the bedroom below the main house. It was so relaxing listening and watching the water. My kids loved watching leaves that fell in the water make their way down to the pond. Sitting on the deck we saw so many animals and so many different types of birds. My eldest loved using the books provided by Robin to look up what type of bird we had just spotted. Most mornings we saw elk and one evening we saw a herd of them with 5 baby elk! The house also has plenty of land for the kiddos to roam around, running and looking at nature.
The house was just the right size for us. When we originally booked it was only going to be 5 of us: 2 adults and 3 kids. But then my parents decided to join us. They stayed in the bottom bedroom which had a separate entrance, it’s own bathroom and TV. The house is two bedrooms with each bedroom having 2 beds each. One of my children stayed downstairs with grandparents. We were able to spread out and we had plenty of space. There were so many separate outdoor spots to hang out on (besides the main deck) and spread out, all of them furnished with outdoor furniture. We also made use of the big hot tub located off the main deck but still with privacy.
The location of the house was also perfect for us. We take our children to the YMCA of the Rockies day camp about 4 days out of the week and this was about an 8 minute drive. The entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park is even closer than that. We also had a country store/market with most things we needed less than 5 minutes away which helped us avoid having to go to Safeway for everything (Safeway can be REALLY crowded).
Robin was a wonderful host! I would absolutely recommend this house to everyone, I actually just sent the link to a good friend the other day. Gorgeous and relaxing is how I would describe it. We will definitely be coming back!
Thank you Karina we are so happy you had a wonderful Stay. You are welcome back any time.
