Affordable Animas River Valley Townhome - A/C

This condo has air conditioning in both bedrooms!

Our 1,000 sq. foot, 2 bedroom (plus loft), 2 bathroom townhome is located 11 miles (less then 15 minutes) north of downtown and 14 miles (15 minutes) south of Purgatory Ski area. This best-of-both worlds location offers privacy with excellent proximity to the area’s premier amenities and spectacular views of the Animas valley and the red cliffs that are so iconic to the reasons many are drawn to Durango. Dalton Ranch Golf Course and Durango Hot Springs are 4 miles from the townhome, and there are close-by restaurants, two nearby golf courses, and one of the area’s best grocery stores and a liquor store.

The residence backs up to National Forest Land and the historic Durango & Silverton tourist train runs adjacent to the property. There is outdoor living space both in front of the towhome and in the back off the master bedroom. You can expect all of the usual amenities such as WIFI, Cable TV, Washer/Dryer and linens/towels. There is a also a single car garage that can be use for storage or parking (assuming your vehicle is very very small).

Second bedroom - Queen with TV and Ensuite Bath (2nd Level)
Loft - (Open to living space) - Double and Full (2nd Level)

NOTE: This property features exterior security cameras facing the driveway and back porch. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces and do not actively record video or sound while guests are in residence, but they will briefly notify the homeowner when motion is detected

There is no parking for RVs, Trailers, Boats, etc at Pine Acres - Please do not book this property if you have a trailer etc.

There home is not pet friendly - please do not bring pets.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

What an incredibly beautiful location and property! We were very pleased with how clean the property was and that it’s in tip-top shape. I personally loved all of the hummingbirds around the property and all of the cheeky chipmunks. The kitchen was well stocked with the essential cooking implements although we only used a frying pan to make omelette I could tell I could make a meal from scratch no problem with what was provided. The complimentary coffee packet and Aveda products were an extra special touch. Parking was great and check out procedure a cinch. Thanks for the great stay!

Nice clean property in quiet area. Check in was easy and hassle free. Kitchen facilities were well equipped with everything we needed for our trip. Plenty of space for the 5 of us to either hang out together or spread out and do our own thing if we wanted. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!

It had all the amenities to make things comfortable - I have been at places that offered starter paper products and laundry detergent, but this location provided everything we needed for the full five nights. The 20 min drive to downtown Durango was gorgeous. Would highly recommend to anyone!Cool extra, the Durango train to Silverton runs behind the condo! We only heard the whistle once and it is not a disturbance - it was so neat to sit on the porch and watch it!

Just a couple of suggestion

Would be great if there were more towels. Also there were no wash cloths and only one hand towel for each bathroom. The bed in the downstairs bedroom is so hard not even my 17 year old son would sleep on it. Everything else was great! Kitchen was well stocked and we loved the location.

Quick business getaway

My husband and I came to Colorado on a quick business trip. The location was perfect for us. It was very clean and offered the basic amenities. We had to get in touch with the property manager a couple of times, the response was excellent. Prompt and answered all our questions!

Steep stairs

Stayed for a total of 4 nights. Property was clean kitchen had everything we needed. Outside furniture was super dirty we weren’t able to enjoy the back porch. Communication with rental property could have been a little better. Stairs are super steep and small. Had a hard time getting our bags up the stairs.

Perfect for a ski vacation

It was perfect for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We never really felt too on top of each other. Check-in was easy and so was check-out. The kitchen is very well equipped, we cooked almost every meal at the house. The location is perfectly set between the ski resort and downtown. about 10-15 minutes each way. Also very close to the hot springs. There was also plenty of room for 6 sets of ski gear in the storage closet on the patio. The only thing is that the bed downstairs is rock hard but all of the other beds were super comfortable and we made it work. Overall would recommend and look to stay at this rental again. Thank you!

Perfect

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was fully stocked. The mattress were firm, with plenty of blankets. The A/c was wonderful. Clear instructions of checkout was very nice .

Close to town. Train comes by so not a place for quiet. Not the cleanest place I have stayed. Dust hanging from ceiling, mildew in showers, grease build up microwave and dishwasher. Hand soaps half full and used toiletries provided. Carpet is pretty dirty so bring slippers. Careful who you decides to sleep upstairs the staircase is very steep narrow and carpet made it slippery, we all took a turn falling.

Well appointed. More then average start up supplies. We had a problem with the grill. The grill was replaced the next day.

Nice place just outside downtown Durango

Relaxing!

We stayed here on the last leg of our journey and it was just what we needed! I loved that the location was outside of downtown, it was more quiet that way. They had everything we needed and it was close to the river!

Great location, Good unit with some issues

Upstairs bathroom: bathtub did not drain well, and the shower diverter did not function well. So we all had to use the tiny shower room downstairs.2. There was water coming in thru a couple of the cracked tiles in the kitchen.3. One spider actively building webs on the light fixture in the room downstairs.

Great place for ski vacation

Just the right distance between Durango and Purgatory to enjoy them both. Plenty of space for us all and all necessary amenities.

Great Place to Stay

The property is just like the photos. Super clean, has everything you could need for a weekend stay. The property is a little far from town but worth it. My family and I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and it was perfect!!!

The condo was the perfect size, well decorated, and clean upon arrival. The washing machine was broken but Premier Vacation rentals communicated this and scheduled the repair the first Thursday after our arrival. A few other items broken were the front screen door and the legs on the family room end table which should have been inspected and repaired before our arrival. That said, Premier Vac Rentals understood our concerns and gave us a nice credit on our reservation for the inconvenience. Besides these few small items, we would book this property again in the future!

TX and CO meet in Durango

We loved the air conditioning in the bedrooms. There was plenty of space for five adults and we loved watching the train go by the back side of the condo. Thanks for use of your place!!

Won’t be back.

Dirty underwear in a drawer. Dishes in dishwasher were dirty. Trash. Hair in the shower. AC only in bedrooms. Fire alarm starting beeping and it’s hidden in a craw space. Won’t be back.
