Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.



Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.

We loved this house! It was cozy and the perfect size for our family. The location was fantastic: right across the street from a park, and just a few steps from the Mineral Belt trail. Easy walking distance to Main Street. The fenced in back yard was a GAME CHANGER for traveling with our dog! Will definitely stay here again.

only problem the space heater did not work and the heater in the downstairs queen bedroom was very loud and kept coming on every 15 minutes I don't know if it was suppose to Otherwise wonderful time.

Great communication with property management, easy to get into and check out of. However, it just wasn't as clean or functional as it appeared online. Having to go through someone else's room to get to the bathroom wasn't ideal and it looked much cleaner/updated online. Although it was quaint and felt much like walking into my grandmother's house, it just didn't work for our families as well as I would have liked.

The house was rundown and not in very good shape. The carpet was stained and worn out in spots. Staples sticking out on stairs. Banister very wobbly and felt unsafe. Sheets were ripped and torn on the king bed. Dirty dishes in the cabinet. Doorknobs were hard to turn and open doors. Dead bugs in the bunkbed. Backyard was dead grass and weeds.

Great House near Downtown

House was quirky and colorful, and 1 block from the downtown area. We found it perfect for our needs. We'll most likely stay in it again during our next visit.

Lovely old home

This home was built in the late 1800 1889 I believe. It is wonderfully well kept. Everything was clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer was new. My only request would be that it was better explained online that you must go through a bedroom to get to the bathroom meaning that if youā€™re not the person in that bedroom, youā€™re walking through someone elseā€™s bedroom or theyā€™re walking through yours. The same for the bedrooms upstairs. Also, the stairs are difficult for elderly people or people with hip or knee issues. We had a lovely time here. Communication was extremely easy. I would definitely stay there again.

Mountain time made easy!

Super convenient location, clear instructions, and prompt communication with host made this a breeze. Loved spending time in the heart of Leadville and ease of access to ski cooper! Plenty of room for our group, clean, and just what we needed for some good time in the mluntains.

Great location, funky decor, questionable value for price

This is a cute ski house in a great location close to Leadville's main street, with a nice view of the mountains across. It sleeps 8 people if you snuggle, has a kitchen with full microwave, fridge, stove, dishwasher, pots and pans, etc. Decor is definitely like a cozy, quirky cottage great for a weekend stay. What I will say irked me -- I paid a pretty good chunk of change (over 1K easily) to stay here for one night. With a 4 PM check in time and a 10 AM checkout time, I think that price is really unreasonable for this home. The management company was responsive and very accommodating of us bringing a dog, I just think this listing is a little overpriced. This is Leadville, not Denver.Decor is definitely iitchy

Leadville classic

The place is as advertised. Tons of space, stocked kitchen, nice backyard for the dog. Everything was easy to get in and ready for occupants. It has the typical Leadville uniqueness that many houses have, which I love. Place was great. Note that there is only 1 parking spot right there.

Excellent location in Leadville

Absolutely loved the proximity to downtown and the wedding we attended at Freight ā€” super walkable. The house was very clean and it was very easy to come and go. Check-in was easy too. Iā€™d really like to give 4.5 star rating. The only negatives were small and a little more attention to the property management would solve most. The batteries were dead in the Roku remote and one showerā€™s conditioner bottle was empty. Iā€™m confident that I could have messaged about this during our stay and it wouldā€™ve been fixed. It just wasnā€™t that big of a deal. The downstairs queen bed sinks toward the middle and was comfortable; fortunately we were able to switch to the one upstairs which was awesome. There were more beds in the house than I remember being advertised. (Not a bad thing.) All in all, it was a very good stay. If we ever go back to Leadville, we would look into rebooking.

Perfect Leadville Spot!

This was the perfect spot for our time in Leadville! I was in town to run the Leadville 100 and the location was ideal, just a few blocks from the starting line and easy access for my friends to come and go throughout the race as they moved to different locations to crew and support me. The layout of the house was great and fit our group perfectly. Next time we get to stay in Leadville, this house will be our first choice of accommodations!

I don't believe in "grade inflation," so my mid-range scores should not be interpreted as negative. This is not a luxury rental house - it was perfect for a group of six guys who came to raft, hike, and enjoy Leadville. I would have liked to check in early, but the property manager[?] said it would cost us $50.00. That might be my only complaint. Good rental, fair price.

adorable house

we stayed here for 2 days and the location was perfect in walking distance to downtown. the house itself gave the feeling of an old vintage home. there was more sleeping space than i expected with a queen bedroom and a bunk bed room downstairs and then a king bed futon and another queen bedroom upstairs. beds were comfortable and everything was clean. washer and dryer worked fine . the decor was a mix of vintage and 80's . they had several tv's but we could only get the family room and downstairs bedroom to work which was fine. there was a small backyard fenced and my only complaint would be it really needed to be mowed. the kitchen was well stocked with a new refridgerator and an ice maker which was great. we really loved this little town . great museums and resturants to walk to . thank you
