Our family absolutely loved staying here. Will definitely return.
The most relaxing few days we’ve had in a while. Breathtaking view.
My family and I enjoyed our stay on the lake. The cabin’s size was adequate to meet our needs.
The view of the lake early in the morning is absolutely beautiful. The cabin’s surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The hill out back is steep but the dock is nice. The kayaks are an added plus! The boat traffic on the lake was not excessive at all. The water was warm enough in October for the youngsters to take a swim. The drive out to the cabin seems lengthy on a narrow, winding roadway but the roads were in good condition.
The cabin is getting older and is in need of a few upgrades, minor repairs and a good deep cleaning. There’s obvious signs of where the cabin has drawn moisture. It was very dusty. We cleaned ceiling fans, tables, counters, opened all the windows that had screens, lit some candles and in no time it seemed much better. The ice maker was not working but we took ice from one and placed in the other. We had some issues operating the stove so the next day we used the grill instead. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware we just cleaned everything before using it. The owner was very timely in responding to our need when a piece of porch railing came loose on the back deck. Kent seemed very nice, timely and willing to accommodate or help guests. We noted that the cabin was for sale.
All things considered, we were able to have everyone together in one place and had a decent experience . We thank you for sharing your cabin with our family.
We had a wonderful stay at Serenity View. We had everything we needed to have a great time. The sunrises were amazing! Thank you so much!
Great time , beautiful view and lake home
Beautiful view, right on the water House was comfortable and cozy.
Nice accommodations with a beautiful view of Douglas Lake with a mountain backdrop!
Such a spacious cabin for our family of 8 with comfortable furniture and beds.
Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds in their “kid cave” room on the lower floor. The game closet was a bonus for them!
As grandparents, we couldn’t be more pleased to have a cabin like Serenity View that is maintained with love and attention to detail. We loved the master bedroom with walk out deck and sitting room balcony.
The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, cookware, utensils, and small appliances. While some coffee lovers, like our daughter, may be disappointed there wasn’t a Keurig coffee machine...she was in charge of bringing the coffee and brought K-cups, we were thrilled to see a regular coffee-maker for a pot of ground coffee.
Overall, Serenity View exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and comfort. We are already choosing dates to book again for our next visits through 2019! Thanks, Kent and family for such pleasant accommodations!
Beautiful well maintained house with everything you need
We had a great time at Serenity View! The house had everything we needed. The outdoor grill and porch were beautiful - I don’t think we ate any meals indoors! The owner checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. Our kids had a blast swimming, fishing and kayaking. The location is perfect - quiet and private yet a short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We would highly recommend Serenity View
