As the name suggests, the neighborhood of Mid City is right in the heart of LA! You will find you are almost equidistant to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Downtown and LAX airport. All of these are within 10-30 minutes at most. Right on your doorstep is the infamous Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles that features 'Museum Row' with the world-renowned LACMA museum and the La Brea Tar Pits. If you're after shopping, restaurants and entertainment, The Grove mall with the adjacent Farmer's Market is literally across the street, and the Beverly Center mall, 3rd Street, Beverley Blvd & Melrose Avenue shops are all within striking distance. Mid City is right next to Beverly Hills, so the further West you head the fancier (and pricier) your shopping opportunities will get.
Having lived all over LA I can tell you sincerely that Mid City is the best and most convenient location in the city. So come and enjoy your private penthouse apartment right in the heart of it all :)
With Uber & Lyft it is no longer necessary to have a car in LA, though it is a spread out city, so you will most likely get into at least 1 car during your time here. Like the immortal movie 'Clueless' noted, "Everywhere in LA takes twenty minutes!"

If you don't have a car, don't fret. Contrary to popular belief, LA has a very comprehensive, reliable, and safe bus system. There is good transit around us with 9 nearby bus routes and the metro line.

Great location, nice apartment
Clean and spacious, close to everything.
Great place-great location! We will definitely stay again.
Comfortable and Convenient
This apartment had lots of room for the two of us, my husband and me! We stayed for 5 days/4 nights over New Year's, and also had a nice time watching our favorite bowl games on the large screen tv. There is a full range of tv options, Netflix, ESPN, etc. and even watched a movie one night. We did find the internet/wifi connectivity a bit sporadic at times and programs would occasionally stop and need to buffer. Same with our tablets - sometimes the signal would drop and we'd have to wait a bit to get reconnected. Not exactly blazing fast, but passable. The bed is fantastically comfortable - soft, yet firm enough to our liking. We walked to Ralph's Market, which is a 10 minute walk away, and bought breakfast foods, snacks and beverages and carried them back. (Don't forget that CA charges for plastic bags, so bring your own or be prepared to pay for every bag) CA also has bottle deposits - something else we forgot about. Agree with the other reviewers regarding the parking situation, which is pretty typical of all LA. We were glad we did not have a car and found it easy to be dropped off or call for an Uber. The Grove shopping area is not exactly "across the street". It is across the street from the main entrance to this large apartment complex, so there is some walking involved through the complex to get over there, but it was enjoyable enough with the CA weather! Keep in mind these are rental units, so things like the carpet and floors, plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, show their wear/tear and aren't exactly "condo" quality. However, we appreciated being able to do a personal load of laundry in the building basement, and only lost one sock. (There is something about shared laundry facilities that seem to consume socks.) Communicating with Laura was a breeze. She replied quickly each time and resolved everything to our satisfaction.
Nice apartment / Limited parking
We stayed recently at the apartment and enjoyed our stay. We didn't realize what a big complex it would be with multiple buildings within the gated area. We had a difficult time finding the building each time we went into the gated area and found it by wondering around a little. Parking can be difficult. One night we drove around for about 10 minutes trying to find a spot to park; luckily someone left right near the building and we got that spot. The apartment is very nice and the bed was comfortable. There's actually another couch (it's brown) in the living room that's not in their pictures. You might want to pack soap because there wasn't any in the bathroom; we just used the provided shampoo though. The listing mentioned that there would be spa products and cereal but there wasn't any. Overall, we were happy with our stay but if you have limited mobility you probably wouldn't want to stay here because you need to be able to go up a few steps to get into the building and because of the parking situation (we didn't see any handicap parking spots).
Clean, great location!
Laura was very accommodating. The place is clean and great location. Parking definitely can be tricky at night but we were able to find some close to the front entrance. Would recommend this place to anyone!
Location is everything!!! Absolutely loved it! Close to everything, 5 min and uber/lyft is there. The owner was available any time. Check in/check out was smooth and easy. We enjoyed our stay in this condo. And the view from the dining/living room is amazing! I enjoyed it every morning with my coffee;))) highly recommend. A+
