Beautiful views! Close to a beach!

Great place to stay put and enjoy the views but also great location to explore the south and west shore. Close to popular beaches. Saw whales from the deck! Accurate description and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

One of the best Ocean view locations on Kauai

This is our second time at Poipu Shores, you can't beat the location and view. Sea turtles feeding below your balcony, beach nearby. Peaceful relaxing and beautiful.

Fabulous location and views!

We loved our stay in the condo. We saw turtles and whales right from our balcony! Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was that the pool closed at sunset, which was a few hours earlier than the pools at our friends’ condos closed.

Sit for hours on the terrace and watch the waves breaking below, at night the best.

The pool is a huge plus! We stayed 4 nights and cooked dinner and eat on the terrace. We did not want to leave. Great sunsets. To wake up and see and hear the waves breaking....no words.

Fabulous View!!

It was our first trip to Kauai and we booked this place based solely on the reviews and pictures -- and WOW were we impressed. The views off the back patio of the ocean and beach are unbelievable. The condo was very clean and well stocked with all the furnishings advertised. We definitely plan to book this same place again if we return to Kauai in the future.

Wonderful location and condo

Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to seeing turtles right under our balcony was extraordinary! The pool was great (heated) for night chilling and the people who stayed there were as friendly as the management. Short walk to a really fun (boogie boarding is a must) and children friendly beach, and a bit further we got to see sea turtles and monk seals come into the beach and rest for the evening. Thank you for contributing to our stay in Kauai’i and help make it one of the best vacas ever. We highly recommend it.

Stunning ocean views

We loved our time at Poipu Shores. As former residents of Kauai returning home to visit family, it was a treat to play tourist and stay right on the water. The unit was comfortable and well-appointed. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The views are spectacular - we saw whales, dolphins and many turtles from our balcony. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks was so relaxing and the ocean breeze kept the condo cool and comfortable. As a family of four with two teenagers, the unit was spacious and allowed everyone to feel comfortable, whether together or in our own spaces. And it was great having two bathrooms. We would absolutely stay here again.

Stunning!!!

What an amazing location and property! We had so much fun watching the sea turtles from the balcony and the morning view from the master can not be beat. No AC was not a problem at all with the lovely breeze off the ocean (and I am an AC girl!). Thank you for sharing your slice of Kauai paradise.

Whales, turtles, sunsets...all from your lanai!!!

First time staying in this unit, won't be our last! The view was spectacular! The only issues we had were not with the unit and were only minor. Dishwasher had dishes in it when we got there and someone came to measure our front door without prior notification from office.

Great location- poor check in

Mgmt did not provide check in code upon arrival as promised (we had a late arrival and notified them of same). Had to find a hotel after midnight. Late the next morning did get code. On the next business day we got restitution for the problem. The location and view from this condo however, was superb! In Jan we had humpbacks, turtles and dolphins to watch from the balcony. Constant wave action on the lava rocks below and good breezes. Amazing. Comfortable stay, but beds are quite firm. I would book again.

My 2 daughters and I stayed 5 nights at this condo and loved every minute of it. The first thing we noticed was the view, we were right on the water, the ocean waves breaking on the rocks, we saw and got pictures every day. One day we saw dolphins. The pool was very nice. The condo was quiet we spent a lot of time on the lanai when ever we were there. The place was nice and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The only thing I could say could be improved was the cushions on the furniture could be replaced, as they are looking very used. But we had a wonderful stay and would return in the future if the opportunity arrives.

Great location, Incredible view

This unit is located right on the water and is a spectacular view for a great value. This unit does not have AC so the windows have to be open at night for airflow. The water is a little loud but I slept great in the master. The view and location is worth it. Private, easy walk to the beach. I will return to this unit if I have the opportunity to visit Kauai in the future.

Paradise

Our view was spectacular! The condo is a short walk to the beach for snorkling, swimming, and even a beach for little ones. There were restaurants nearby, but because of covid, reservations are required well in advance. The unit itself was equipped with all the essentials and a well supplied kitchen for cooking, dining, and best of all, meals on the lanai. The masterbedroon is ocean front with the wonderful sound of the surf lulling us to sleep. The bathrooms have been recently undated and the overall appearance of the unit was very nice. Because it is on the fourth floor corner, we were very private and very quiet. A totally lovely week, and we'll be back!
