Remote relaxation successful

Another fantastic relaxing vacation in a beautiful remote location. The house, view, dock, neighborhood were all wonderful. Quiet, stunning sunrises (my favorite time of day), on the water - didn’t care that it was cold - we did have 2 days in the 60’s!! Fire pit nights & watching a storm roll in across the water on NYE was awesome!! We’ll definitely be back!! Our dogs had a blast as well!

Great house on the water

We rented this house for Thanksgiving. It was perfect for our family. The location was great and the house amenities had everything we needed for a cozy Thanksgiving getaway only 2 hours from home.

The Glebe

This property is excellent. Very peaceful!! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back. The porch was awesome, the views were fantastic and the beach/dock were great! We have rented a lot of places and this one was one of the best for cleanliness, kitchen was well stocked and they even provided trash bags, linens, dish detergent, laundry detergent and the list goes on.

2nd time here was as good as the first

We had another wonderful time at the lake house. The sunrises are spectacular and the perfect way to start a relaxing day. We played cornhole for the first time and had a blast. Next time we're trying the paddle boards.I took a lot of prep time planning out our meals so we didn't need to leave the property to get food.

Great getaway

The property was just as described, but the experience was even better than we anticipated. The view was just great and just so relaxing. It was everything we wanted & needed. Our hosts were very responsive when needed for a quick question, too!

Great Views, Great Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This house has a fantastic beach, with a unique sense of privacy. The sunrises were amazing too! Communication with our host was great, house was well-maintained and has a wonderful view of the river from the screened-in porch or living room.

Loved it! Beautiful surroundings with endless water sports and wildlife. Crabs and Fish galore! The perfect place to get away and decompress with a cup of coffee and warm morning sunrises to conquer your days on the Rivah. I didn’t get my door code at check in time due to a mix up of VRBO vs Competition! Be sure to notify owner which one you booked through before arriving. Otherwise, family had a peaceful memorable vacation and we plan on coming back in the future if we can get a week or two.

Great view, excellent house

We had a wonderful time in this well appointed house. The beds were comfortable, kichen nicely stocked, amazing views and good selection of outdoor games. The beach and dock were really special.

Beautiful home on the water

This was a beautiful home on the River that we stayed in for my daughter’s wedding in the area. Amazing water view! The hosts are wonderful and respond quickly. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Perfect getaway to relax and unplug

Fantastic place to stay and look forward to coming back. The private beach and dock are idyllic. We stayed four nights. We enjoyed making our meals in the kitchen, grilling out back, listening to the waves and reading in the screened in porch, sitting by the fire at night in the living room and watching tv. Very well maintained property, well communicated information on checkin/checkout and quick responses from the hosts.

Wonderful!

Just as listed. Beautiful location. House well cared for and all that you need. It’s very remote which can be a plus but for some but you might want to plan accordingly. Don’t expect to be getting takeout! Bring your water shoes and a sifter to look for shark teeth. We had awesome fun fishing. With just a lure we caught more than 15 fish in just two days. They were all small perch but it was good fun for our littles just pulling them in over and over. The most exiting thing was that it lured a sting ray up close! We spotted a bald eagle fly very close right over us one early morning. All in all, a great house and spot to rent and I definitely recommend it to others.
