The C L Ranch is a luxury estate located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Centrally located in Fischer, Texas, this spectacular home is minutes from all of the most popular area attractions such as Wimberley’s art and shopping scene, New Braunfels river tubing, Gruene...(need we say more?), Blanco’s antiques and lavender farms, and Canyon Lake for all sorts of water activities!

The layout of this home was expertly designed and is perfect for multiple families to enjoy without encroaching on each other’s space. This six bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home boasts two separate wings, each with it’s own master suite and two additional bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The central portion of the home offers a huge gourmet kitchen, a grand living area with floor to ceiling windows that provide a commanding view of the breathtaking outdoor space and the incredible view beyond. Up the custom carved spiral staircase, guests will find a game room with something for everyone. Guests can enjoy games ranging from billiards to arcade games. This fantastic addition can be closed off to the downstairs or open up as a balcony to the living area below. Overflow guests can also stay in comfort in the flex room that has a queen sized Murphy bed.

The outdoor space is expansive and luxurious! The custom swimming pool is a focal point where many hours can be enjoyed with friends and family. The outdoor kitchen is a grill master’s dream, and with the ample seating and outdoor dining spaces, guests are invited to fully enjoy the space in true vacation style! On cool evenings, the freestanding hot tub is beautifully situated to take in the view of the hills or stargaze on a clear night. The fire pit is another favorite spot for s’mores or just stories around the fire.

The house was absolutely spectacular! The location was quiet and secluded with the most amazing views! The pool was our favorite as it was a good size with rock features and there were 2 bins of pool floaties and toys. There was lots of seating outside with 2 shade umbrellas. Inside the house, it was very spacious. There was a large kitchen with most everything you would need to cook and serve meals, The primary suites were spacious and we loved the weighted comforters on the beds. There were so many things we loved about this house! It was perfect for our family during my daughter’s wedding. We only had a few minor issues while we were there and the host was quick to respond and resolve them. I would highly recommend CL Ranch! You won’t be disappointed.

The quietness and being secluded was amazing. The pool was the highlight of our stay. Please get in the kitchen and use the stove, it is amazing. I was in heaven.

Beautiful House; Gorgeous Views

This house was amazing. Big kitchen with all the amenities, comfortable bedrooms and living room, amazing deck and outdoor kitchen. We enjoyed our stay in this house. Already looking for an excuse to rent it again next year!

Great relaxing bachelorette weekend

The house had plenty of space for all of us. Comfy beds. Great views. Pool and hot tub were great and the grill worked once we figured out the gas line. A few minor issues but the management was very responsive. Would stay here again.

Love this property!

The home was spacious with many inside and outside places to congregate for our 12 member group. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious as well! And the view from the patio was wonderful! The pool was just the right size. The property was well cared for and the property management company responded quickly to any questions we had. We definitely recommend this property and hope to come back for another stay!

Work Strategy Retreat

I would highly recommend the CL Ranch property to anyone looking for a nice getaway. Awesome house with all amenities included. Very secluded but you can get back to civilization in no time at all. The picture does the property no justice. The views off the back deck are amazing. Great property whether you have 2 people or over 10.

First ImpressionsWith a little TLC and a little money this place could be the showplace it deserves to be. Our experience was as if we showed up by surprise and we caught them off guard. The house just was not ready yet. It could be as simple as sweeping and cleaning the front entrance. After that a simple job of vacuuming the mice droppings which tells me the house hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Or maybe take all the broken patio furniture no longer being used and dispose of it properly. Then open the house instruction binder and update it. It is useless in its current condition. Include the fact that the breakers to the hot tub and pool lights and waterfall are turned off. Include the location of the breaker boxes. Then go ahead and hook up the TVs that are in each room and the game-room upstairs. None are usable. Pour some drano in the tub drains and replace the small vacuums to be used during our stay. Neither works. The gameroom is pictured as a great separate room. The sofa has built in recliners that do not work plus the pool table has been moved so close to the wall you can’t play. On top of that the tv is not installed and only 1 of the arcade games works. The fan in the grill area is missing a blade making it unusable and the water to the outside sink is turned off. The kitchen faucet needs to be replaced. The arm of the faucet is not long enough to reach the 3 sections of the sink, just the center section. Consider sending a work crew to get this house ready!

This level of detail is very helpful, and we are escalating everything you mentioned to our operations and maintenance teams for immediate review and correction. We agree that the home should be fully prepared and accurately represented for every guest, and we’re sorry that this was not your experience. We appreciate your feedback, even though we regret that your stay did not meet expectations. We hope to host you again in the future at another one of our properties to show you that this is not a normal occurrence.

Beautiful property

This property is beautiful and had the perfect amount of space for our gathering. The pool was great and so were all of the amenities. It does take awhile for the house to cool down but that’s to be expected in a house this size in the heat of TX summer. There were a couple scorpions and centipedes (again, to be expected in the Tx hill country), so just be cautious when barefoot! We would definitely book this place again! The views were beautiful.

Family Getaway

The house was great. Loved the bedrooms all on the first floor. Grandkids enjoyed the toys and the pool. Plenty of space to eat together. Could have used at least one more roll of toilet paper. Had none in our bathroom and perhaps a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. The back door handle is very loose. We all had a great time and would visit there again.

Not a very good place to stay at

House is beautiful but refrigerator wasn’t working , Wi-Fi was very slow , pillows in property had stains on them and bbq was super dirty , wouldn’t rent this again , pictures are very deceiving

We really appreciate this valuable feedback! We are sorry to hear you didn't love your stay. The location is fairly remote so internet speeds are definitely not what you would expect in a more urban environment, however the wifi at this location is typically more than sufficient for most usage including streaming, but it could get sluggish if you are streaming to multiple devices so we do appreciate you pointing this out to future guests. We also appreciate you bringing to our attention that there was a stain on one of the pillows. We have spoken to the housekeeping team regarding their vigilance in ensuring bedding stains are addressed immediately and your feedback did result in a full audit of the bedding and linens so stained items could be replaced. Thankfully it was just the one pillow which we agree was one too many! We are so glad we were able to get an appliance repair tech out promptly when the refrigerator issue surfaced to clean the coil and get things cooling quickly! Our team has an extensive checklist to validate property conditions prior to a guest check in which requires real time photos uploaded and we were able to review these to assess the status of the grill you mentioned. Our time stamped photos showed the grill to be clean and ready to be at your service. We of course know things can happen between when we inspect the property the morning of your arrival so we do often request photos of what you are experiencing and we are sorry that wasn't something you were able to accommodate so we could further investigate and assist you. We would also like to point out that the photos are actually a very accurate representation of the property as they were recently taken within the last six months to update and provide the most accurate reflection of what guests can expect upon arrival. We would like to invite any future guests to please feel free to reach out with any questions about the property and amenities as our goal is for all guests to arrive to find a property that doesn't just meet expectations, but exceeds them! Beautiful home and location

This is a beautiful home and location. The house is fully equipped we enjoyed how spacious and comfortable it was. The hot tub was already warm and the view was incredible. We had an issue getting into the house but the issue was resolved quickly. I don’t like to complain but the only issue we had was the long black hair in one of the master bathrooms and the shower in one of the Jack and Jill bathrooms. Otherwise this was a perfect home and would definitely go back.

Windows leaking and missing items

Know that during a rainstorm the windows facing the pool in the large room were leaking down the walls. The floors, rugs, and mats were not clean. The autofill water equipment screeches awful when filling the pool. Missing key kitchen items- wash rags and drying towels, mixing spatula, cookware utensils, and steak knives. Loved the furniture selection and overall decor. Beautiful view, pool, and home. Great location.

Do not rent this home or ANY home from Hill Country Premier Lodging!

Our stay at this property was the single worst VRBO rental experience of my life. I had rented what I thought was going to be a beautiful home for a corporate leadership retreat. The first thing you should know is that the listing pictures are absolutely not an accurate representation of the quality and current condition of this home. The second most important thing to know is that once HCPL has your money, they couldn't care less about your stay or your experience at their property. Our problems started from the moment we stepped foot in the house and carried through to check-out at the end of the weekend. Below are just some of the highlights: - Dead scorpions throughout the house upon check-in AFTER cleaning crew had just left. - Doorknobs falling off bedroom doors. - Broken shower heads running water at full blast and unable to be turned off for 24 hours. This required professional plumbers to come in and fix it after the HCPL maintenance tech couldn't fix the issue resulting in the loss of a full day of relaxation and enjoyment of our guests. - Broken appliances in the outdoor kitchen/pool area - Weeds and overgrown flower beds throughout (pool area not at all as clean and pretty as pictured) What made this situation the worst is how HCPL handled our complaints after our stay. They didn't care and offered no credit or consideration for the many inconveniences and misrepresentations. For more information, google HCPL and read the many similar, 1 star reviews.

We made every effort to promptly address the concerns you raised. Regarding the shower situation, we took immediate action by replacing the cartridge the very next day for the one that was running. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced on your first night. It's important to note that the issue with the master shower was attributed to user error, which was resolved as soon as it was identified. It was not a malfunctioning issue. As for the broken outdoor appliance, there is a refrigerator outside that is not working, we'd like to clarify that it's not listed as an official guest amenity. The owners added it for their personal use when they utilize the property, and it appears they may have encountered some difficulties with it. Since it's not a listed guest amenity, we do not assume responsibility for providing or maintaining it. We sincerely apologize for the bedroom door knob incident, and we've already initiated a work order to promptly address and repair it. There was brown grass and we understand your concern, but it's unfortunately a common issue in the area due to prevailing weather conditions. We share your frustration, but we have limited control over natural weather patterns. Lastly, we acknowledge that scorpions are a known challenge in the Hill Country region. Despite our best efforts to exterminate them, they can be persistent. We explicitly mention this in the rental agreement that you signed. Regarding your mention of 1-star reviews, we take customer feedback seriously and see it as an opportunity for growth and improvement. We encourage open and honest reviews, as they help us identify areas where we can enhance our services. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we remain committed to diligently addressing any issues that arise to ensure a more enjoyable experience for all our guests. Great stay. The house and experience was amazing

The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was amazing. I would definitely stay again.

Absolutely fabulous house!

The house was amazing!! Everyone who came thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The rooms were spacious and kitchen was gorgeous with state of the art appliances which was awesome to cook on etc. We are now planning to rent this house every year around this time of year and make it an annual tradition!! Thank you for allowing us to rent this beautiful home!!!
