It was a nice place for 9 people. Plenty of room

  • 4 of 5

It was a nice place. The house accommodated 9 of us. Plenty of room for everyone. The upstairs bedrooms doors do need a way to close them and they stay closed. Other than that, it's well stocked, beautiful views, and great fishing of the dock and banks. Fire pit was nice, would have been nicer if there had been chairs down there for the fire pit. Beds were very comfortable! Kitchen was well stocked. Overall we had a very nice Thanksgiving in this big house!!

Beautiful Home and Views

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed four nights in this lovely home during a beautiful fall weekend. The house was perfect for our party of six. The bedrooms, living area, kitchen and deck were very comfortable. The boat dock was perfect for our boat and our many journeys up and down the river. The best feature of this home was the upper back deck with the beautiful views of the gorge any time of the day. We hope to visit again!

Not enough value for the money

  • 2 of 5

The view of the lake is the main selling point about this rental. Overall the house was nice inside, although it was a weird layout. I think there's a lot of improvements that could be made to make it worth the money you're paying to rent it. I would've expected more upgrades to the house based on the ad that sold me on renting this property for my daughters wedding weekend. There were a lot of negatives about it. There wasn't enough toilet paper supplied. The hot water was strange because several people in my group had taken showers and wound up with cold water. I took mine a little while after them and was surprised to find there was any hot water. I think the shower in the bathroom beside the kitchen needs a completely new shower because it's very slick, you have to be careful when you step in so you don't fall. Sliding doors on that shower would help as well because as soon as you open the shower door water spills out everywhere on the floor. Also, this house is located in a noisy area in general, barking dogs across the street didn't make for a peaceful environment. Everyone loved the view from the back of the house, that's the most positive thing I can say about it because we weren't impressed with much else.

Unique property, great river view and access.

  • 4 of 5

Group of 13 had plenty of room to spread out. Used all sleeping areas provided from main bedrooms to bunk room, couch beds and couches. Kayaks and paddle boards were a big hit. Kitchen well stocked, we brought our own crockpot, really appreciated the outdoor grill. Neighbors dogs are large and did come out to greet us when we arrived but didn’t seem aggressive. Very narrow winding road drive slow and follow written directions from host. Overall a great time.

A beautiful spot for a family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful river home. The dock was so much fun for the kids to swim and paddle board, and relaxing for the grown ups watching them.

We had a blast cooking smores at the fire pit. And the kitchen and living room were perfect for enjoying time together.

The ping pong table was a nice touch.

Thanks so much for sharing your awesome place with us. I hope we can come back again soon!!
