About the property

IDEAL LOCATION/3 story 3 bedrooms 3 bath 3 balconies + game room & hot tub, WIFI

Enjoy all the Smoky Mountain National Park, Wears Valley, Cade's Cove, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer and then escape from the traffic, noise and lights of the strip in this star-lit, 3 level, mountaintop log home 2,000 feet above quaint Wears Valley. Conveniently located at the entrance to the national park and nestled centrally between Pigeon Forge and Townsend. (Wears Valley is only a township and won't show on a map. For this purpose, you should consider this home just outside of Pigeon Forge near the national park between Gatlinburg and Cade's Cove).

Here you are also located only 10 minutes from attractions in Townsend and Pigeon Forge, 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, 25 minutes from the Appalachian Trail and only 45 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Home was recently redecorated with brand new furniture, rugs, bedding, bath linens, oven/stove, refrigerator and dishes. Also recently added a whole house UV water purification + softener system and, on top of UV, we added a reverse osmosis system in the kitchen for the purest drinking & cooking water available!

Keyless entry at front door. ADT alarm system in cabin; owner can give you a temporary code or have it not in use during stay. Free WIFI via hotspot box

A brand new Traeger wood pellet smoker grill added in 2017. Pellet grills give more smoky flavor and require less "babysitting" due to the built-in grease management system.

All 3 bedrooms + living room + game room have DIRECT TV boxes with premium package that includes HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, NFL Sunday Ticket, ESPN and much more (including DVR).

All bedrooms feature king beds, designer duvet covers, private bathrooms and large HD flat screen televisions . All bedrooms are on separate floors, and each floor has its own covered patio! Sennheiser bluetooth TV headphones provided. Also provided are crib, high chair and 2 Serta pillow-top air mattresses.

The middle level/entry point level features: kitchen, dining, living room, fireplace, bedroom, bathroom and wrap around porch with hot tub, wooden swing, 2 person hammock, 2 elevated adirondack chairs, fire pit, outdoor dining table and grill.

The lower level features: game room, laundry room, bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom with jacuzzi tub, rain shower and wrap around porch with outdoor dining/game table and seating for 10 around a fire pit.

The 3rd level features: bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom, indoor seating area with bistro table and porch with love seat, chair, coffee table and 2 high-seat adirondack chairs.

About Steve & Karen Graves

Steve & Karen Graves. We are college sweethearts with 2 sons. We have lived in the south all our lives, but love to travel the country by car. Our business is home-based, so we do get a lot of travel time, Owning a vacation home has always been a dream of ours. This is our first one. We hope to have another one in the northeast one day.

Steve & Karen Graves purchased this cabin in 2016

Why Steve & Karen Graves chose Sevierville

We have traveled a lot and stayed in many places. We know what can make a stay unpleasant and what can make a stay memorable. We take a lot of pride in making this a great vacation rental. We go up about every 6 weeks to inspect and clean and sanitize every square inch.

This cabin in amazing! So picturesque and cozy. It is spacious and all the rooms are clean and beautiful. The beds were so comfy and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep! Great views, and peaceful!

  • 5 of 5

The home was nice, with 3 bedrooms spread out on each floor with king beds. 3 decks overlooking the valley was the highlight, as well as seeing a bear 3 different times walking up the road making their routine pass by the garbage cans locked in a cage. The kitchen was much smaller than I had thought, but it gave us the excuse to order take out from Geppetto's Italian Restaurant instead of cooking dinner, which was fantastic Italian food. Overall it was a wonderful home, we had a great time, and would certainly recommend to anyone!

Serenity on a mountainside

  • 5 of 5

Amazing house with an amazing view. Had everything you could possibly want including close encounters with wild turkey and a bear cub. Follow the owners instructions to the letter about securing trash and food including in your vehicles. We were in town for the Jeep Invasion and had the doors off. Bear cub came down the drive and started to chew on the front seat where a drink had been spilt the day before. Perfect location for both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with beautiful country drives to both areas. Plan on being back next year!

Cozy getaway

  • 5 of 5

My two sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this mountain cabin. A bedroom and bath for each of us. We found a very well appointed kitchen which is well maintained. The kitchen counter space is minimal and the kitchen island was covered with decorations. Once we cleared the island we had plenty of space in the kitchen. It was really nice to have packets of coffee ready for our first morning coffee on the deck.

It took a while to find all four of the scent machines and unplug them. Not too much of a sneezing fit before that was accomplished. The view from the decks is of Wear's Valley. (I thought the view would be of the Smoky Mountains National Park.) The Valley view did allow some good star watching including a fly-over of the international space station.

All in all, we had a wonderful time in a wonderful cabin. We will certainly consider it again and recommend it to others. The owners are very responsive and obviously care for the property and those of us who rent it.

Mom and Daughter Trip

  • 5 of 5

We were three moms traveling with our daughters for a dance competition at the Sevierville Convention Center. The cabin was the perfect location, just an easy 20 minute drive but far enough away so that we were able to relax quietly when we got home. Each bedroom was spacious and we all had our own bathroom. Each night we relaxed on a different balcony overlooking the valley below. The house was super clean and comfortable. We absolutely loved it!!! I hope we have an opportunity to go back some day!

This home will say Pigeon Forge or Sevierville on a map. However, the home is in Wears Valley, which is only a township and does not show up on maps. You could say it is the outskirts of Pigeon Forge as it is 7 miles from there and and only 1.5 miles to park.
