Great setting and location. Very clean and lots of room. Fully equiped kitchen. Love the gss fireplace and porch. Only issue is that VRBO did not send the checkin instructions timely.

This is our second stay at this Leadville retreat. The place is just perfect! It is beautifully decorated and really clean. It had everything we needed. We love the location as it is quiet and peaceful and a short drive to the Lake. The host was friendly and quick to respond to questions We will visit here again, hopefully next summer!!

We loved our stay at Blue Bucket! The location was great- within 10 minutes of downtown Leadville, but peaceful in the mountains. It was very clean and well stocked. We highly recommend this place!

This cabin was perfect for our visit to Leadville! There were 6 of us and there was plenty of room. This property had everything we needed and the location was perfect! Quiet area with a great view. We would definitely stay here again.

We came with guests who were participating in the Leadville Marathon. The house was very well equipped, had lots of room, a well equipped kitchen, and a bonus bbq that was not in the listing.The property is close to town and Turquoise Lake. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

This place has everything you will possibly need! You can’t go wrong if you’re staying in the area. If it had a hot tub on the deck, it would be absolutely perfect!

Awesome cabin in Leadville

The cabin was wonderful for a mountain getaway! Very well equipped and comfortable. Close to town but felt like we were miles away. Close to the Arkansas river nature trail. Will definitely stay again!

An excellent stay. The cabin was easy to find and very spacious. The location is ideal, 5 mins to Leadville. Lots of board games to entertain our stay. A slight drawback was the lack of an internet TV.

Quiet and comfortable

These houses have all we need to stay comfortably. Enough beds and bathrooms for a large group. It is also easy to get to and close to Leadville and surrounding areas. We will continue to stay here for every time.

This was a great spot. We used this as our base to climb Mt Elbert. Clean, comfortable, quite, and even had hummingbirds that visited throughout the day.

The Blue Bucket cabin was a great find. Everything we needed was available. We stayed at the cabin while skiing at Ski Cooper. The cabin is very close to the mountain. Highly recommend and we plan to return if we are in the area in the future.

Wonderful Cabin with a Beautiful View

This cabin had a beautiful view and was very neat, clean, and had everything we needed! We loved being very close to Leadville to easily get groceries, shop, hike, etc. Quiet and relaxing, it was the perfect place to come back to! Looking out the windows and opening the door to the spacious porch, we loved seeing beautiful snow-covered woods! We will definitely come back and look forward to bringing more family members to experience this wonderful cabin and vacation home!

Convenient, Clean and Quiet

A very nice three day stay at this duplex cabin tucked in the woods. The condo was quite comfortable and nicely appointed. The sponsors reached out to us shortly after our arrival offering any assistance we may need. Although as hosts, they seemed to have thought of everything. Look no more!

It was great! Perfect location, we could drop one person off to ski, one person to dog sled, pick up a grocery item in Leadville then run back to cabin to take a nap all in 40 minutes. The mattresses were comfortable. The lodge decorating was fun, yet classy. They thought of everything a guest would need. The cabin is nestled in tall pine trees with views of the mountains. There are 5 cabins in this cozy neighborhood. The location is the perfect combination of privacy without isolation.

Blue Bucket Cabin Leadville, CO

The cabin was in a cozy neighborhood with four other cabins, it was very private, with beautiful views of the mountains, yet you didn’t feel isolated. The location is close to snowmobiling, Cooper mountain, dog sledding, and the town of Leadville. The cabin had radiant floor heating, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well, there was laundry soap for the washer, and lots of games and puzzles for down time. The host really thought of everything. They even had an album of all their favorites things to do in Leadville. They had the sidewalk shoveled when we arrived. The host responded within 5 minutes of an email. In addition he sent links to every possible question you might need an answer to.

March 2025 Ski Trip

The Blue Bucket was absolutly awesome! This was our 4th straight year staying in Leadville to ski at Cooper. Of the 4 properties we have stayed in, the Blue Bucket was hands down the best. It was clean, spacious and extremely well stocked with everything a guest could possibly need. The location is perfect for getting to town and Cooper.We read the checkout procedure posted by the front door upon departure which did not direct us to strip our sheets or pile our towels so we didn't. When reviewing an email I had recieved earlier it did in fact instruct us to strip sheets and pile towels. We felt terrible about not having read the email and relying on the sheet posted. Hopefully the owners won't hold it against us when we book again next year because we will definantly book here again. I can't say enough about what a great property this was for us. Thanks so much!!!
