About Charlene Myers
We have been blessed to live in Wimberley and on the Blanco River for many years. We own a construction company and do much work throughout Central Texas. We GREATLY enjoy our time at the ranch. It is so incredibly private and relaxing. We love sitting on the porch and listening the the rapids in the river. In the summer we enjoy time IN the river. There are deep sections, rapids, shallow sections and even good fishing areas. It truly is an amazing place and we know you will enjoy your time here also.

Why Charlene Myers chose Canyon Lake
Blanco Rapids Ranch is in the Devils Backbone area between Wimberley and Canyon Lake. It is centrally located for trips to Wimberley, San Marcos, Austin, San Antonio, New Braunfels and Canyon Lake. The privacy of this river property is exceptional. The seperate suites make it the perfect place for a gathering of family and/or friends where you can gather together and also have your private lodging.
What makes this House unique
This ranch is on the Devil's Backbone which has amazing views! The location of the ranch between Wimberley, Canyon Lake, San Marcos, New Braunfels and Blanco make it so accessible to so many wonderful activiites. However most often when folks get to the ranch they want to stay and simply enjoy the incredible property.

Great Property on the Blanco River!
Our group of 11 "mature" ladies was totally in awe of the setting of this property! Relaxing to the sounds of the gentle rapids of the river while sitting on the expansive patio, watching the birds and squirrels (we even saw a painted bunting!) and dining all together at the same table were just a few of the highlights for our weekend. The beds and the bed set up (kings and trundles) are very comfortable and work wonderfully for both groups and families. The property manager responded immediately to our minor issues and they were quickly remedied. The grounds and setting are park-like, serene and very well-manicured. The privacy is unequaled and yet you're still only minutes to downtown Wimberley. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious - worked great for our meal prep when we had 4 people working in the kitchen at once. Having the casita suites with their own private baths removed from the main house allowed those who wanted to retire early, a quiet retreat from those who wanted to stay up late. Cannot think of one negative thing except our time at Blanco Rapids Ranch went by much too quickly!
Great weekend retreat!!
We went to the ranch for a spring break weekend with 3 other families and all of our kids. We all had a blast. The kids loved running around the massive yard as well as swimming and fishing in the river. The parents loved the perfect backyard bar/grill area for when the kids went to bed. The game room/tv room is an added bonus for both kids and adults. We will definitely be back.
Perfect 2017 holiday venue for our family of 12 adults and one infant.
Charlene and Randy were great to work with, and the onsite ranch manager, Jim, was attentive and helpful. Everything was in good working order, and the layout provided a nice combination of group areas along with private sleeping, kitchenette, and bath spaces. The four cabins and the guest house were all comfortable and unique. The beds were great. The indoor spaces at the main house were comfy and able to accommodate the entire group for board games, meals, and family time. The shuffleboard table is excellent, tournament-quality. We loved the patio and the grounds, and took several walks along the Blanco River. We had a great stay and would love to go back at some future date.
Beautiful property on a secluded ranch like setting overlooking the river.
We had a large group of 12 adults. There was plenty of space to hang out. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed the large patio. There is a large dining table and living room to entertain as well. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The main house has two bedrooms. There are 4 suites a short walk from the main house. We were already planning another stay before we even left.
Excellent in Every Way!
Outstanding property and owners. My wife and I took our 4 married children and grandchild (15 total) to the Blanco Rapids Ranch for our annual family retreat. It was a perfect property for rest, relaxation and fun for everyone. The river was beautiful and perfect for wading, canoeing and fishing. The patio area was our evening oasis to BBQ, eat, watch movies and cook s'mores. Definitely will be returning.
Great Place on the Blanco River
We had a crowd of kids and grandkids. The house and Casitas were great. Much time was spent at the river floating down the river or grandchildren just playing in the water
The kitchen was well appointed with commercial appliances and a large bar. There was a nice deck overlooking the river which we enjoyed a lot.
The yard and landscaping is outstanding.
We went to Gruene one night for a dinner at the Gristmill which was a lot of fun. It's about 20 minutes away...good food.
We got to see the owners the last day
Charlene and Randy are super nice and very helpful
