Great house for larger group
We had 11 people and this house was great for a group that size. There were 3 very large bedrooms with king beds, one room with a queen bed and one with 4 twin beds. All bedrooms had their own bathroom. The living area had a very large table that easily sat all of us. We cooked all of our dinners at the house and the kitchen was very well stocked. The family room also easily handled all of us and had a fireplace. We used the hot tub daily after skiing as it was right off the kitchen area. And the location was great. We seemed to be traveling against the local traffic most of the time as we went to Park City and Snow basin. Park City was very close by as was Deer Valley. The house was very clean when we arrived and all that was required to leave was the return of the house key and garage door opener to the management group which was on our way to the airport. This was my first VRBO experience and I would definitely do it again.
Just got back from a 5 day stay at this property. We traveled with two families (4 adults and 5 kids between the ages of 9 and 13. Comments: 1. Size: The house was a great size, plenty of room in the kitchen and gathering areas and good sized bedrooms. In fact we had more than enough room and could have prob fit another family if needed as we had 3 single beds that we didn’t use. 2. Location - one of the families predominantly skies Deer Valley and the other Park City while we were there. This house is in a very nice neighborhood within a 2 min drive to the base parking lot for Deer Valley. Super convenient. Also not a long drive to Park City. 3. Other comments: as there was another family there before us we couldn’t get into the place until slightly after check in time of 4 pm but no big deal - the place was clean when we arrived. The only knock we had was that there was only 1 extra garbage bag but we made due and that the house was very dry but we didn’t realize there were humidifiers in the closets of some of the bed rooms we could have used which would have helped. I found them when doing a walk around before we left. Oh well. The garage fit 2 standard sized SUVs, the hot tub was nice (although it was unseasonably cold while we were there so didn’t use it a lot). Tvs with cable in main room and bedrooms, and full washer and dryer. Overall a great convenient place and would stay here again!
We have stayed in VRBOs all over the country and Canada and base our review on a plethora of homes.By far, this rental rated the lowest of all of our rentals.First, the positives:OWNERS are very nice/responsive/accomodating.Home's floor plan comfortably accommodates a large group. Each room has an en suite-wonderful feature.Location to ski resorts/Park City is convenient.Neighborhood that the home is located in is beautiful. The hot tub is wonderful!Negatives: With exception of 2 issues (master tub/shower not draining and screaming central heater that kept us up for 3 nights.Tub/shower issue was corrected the next morning.Heater was corrected on the 4th day) the property management company was unresponsive.We reported that the bedspreads were so dusty that we were all stuffed up throughout the nights. We called the management company and were assured they would take care of it.They never did.We emailed to repeat our concern,no response. Including to the above,additional concerns: 1.The house was clean on the surface, but is in grave need of a deep cleaning; 2.Poorly equipt kitchen-outdated and minimal equipment: clearly cast offs( ie, 2 blenders that didn't function and odds and ends pans); 3.minimal provisions provisions ie.,1 roll of paper towels, 5 kitchen trash bags, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, no coffee filters, no baggies, no foil, 1 trash can left full with previous renters' garbage. 4.Balconies as per description were inaccessible due to accumulated frozen snow that were un-shovelled/maintained. 5.Barbecue(as advertised) were inaccessible due to snow/ice accumulation;6.Heating ventilation system including intake and out take registers need thorough cleaning; full of dirt/cobwebs;7.Upstairs master tub/shower is unsafe!!! Steep climb in and out. 8.Garage is in need of a thorough cleaning.8.TV in Living Room never worked. We asked for assistance,a technician came out and said the remote needed a new battery pack....but never returned with one so that we could use the TV without manual input; 9. Gas fireplace in living room is decorative only. No heat.
We shared our concerns with the property management company at check-out. The response of the front desk: "Sorry about that." We asked for a return call from management to discuss the above concerns. A call has not been received to date. At this price point, we expected so much more. Either the above concerns need to be addressed or the price needs to be lowered.
Thank you for your feedback and bringing your concerns to my attention. We value all of our guest's comments as we strive to keep our home in excellent condition for our guests. As you know, we work with a management company that services our home. We typically have great success with their performance as they have been serving the area for over 30 years. Unfortunately in your case, this appears to be where we had a disconnect. I wish I would have known about the lack of attention during your stay as I may have been able to expedite your concerns and issues for a faster resolution.
After your stay, we followed up and did a thorough evaluation of our home and your concerns. The management company has assured us that in the future they will provide more garbage bags and toilet paper. Coffee filters were available in the back of the cupboard over the coffeemaker. And the two blenders were the result of an earlier renter who asked for an extra blender because she liked to make smoothies. We don't normally shovel the balconies unless asked to as most people only desire to use the balconies in the summer months but we are happy to shovel should a guest ask. The property gets cleaned regularly but due to your concerns we instructed the cleaning crew to do a deep clean which we tend to do every 2 months. The TV is working as is the gas fireplace. There are instructions as to how to operate the fireplace in the renters manual we provide in the house. It is a little tricky and if there is a problem we're always happy to address it either through a phone call or by sending someone over to demonstrate how it works. Post our evaluation everything in the house seems to be in working order. I'm sorry your experience wasn't what you hoped and again appreciate the feedback because it allows us to better the experience of being a guest in our home
Wonderful home for a large family gathering
We had 8 adults and 4 children ages 3-8. The house was perfect for us. We especially enjoyed the nice kitchen and the hot tub after a full day on the snow. The Todd family was very gracious and helpful and we look forward to a return trip.
First VRBO rental for me and it couldn't have gone better. Marvelous kitchen and common space. Thank you!

Everyone in our group had their own king bed!!! So much space we talked about coming back next year with two more families. Fully stocked kitchen with a view of the ski runs. And great communal space with an awesome dining room table. Not to mention Deer Valley is a quarter of a mile away. Thank you! We'll be back.
