Catherine didn’t explain that the gym has a complete separate entrance from the rest of the house and only my 12 year old daughter who’s a tennis player uses the gym with her coach couple of times a week. Other renters do not use the gym, and nobody else uses the backyard.

Thanks for your comments Dave. AC is something we decided a long time ago not to have because the house is very cool in the evening as it is protected from the afternoon sun by the banyan tree on the yard. We understand that some folks are used to have AC on all the time in their own homes and will miss the coolness of AC when traveling but As much as I appreciate your comments, we have been doing this for over 7 years and we rarely hear anyone ask for AC but I understand your comments. Correction: The house isn’t shared with anyone else and there are no “others.” We have another unit above garage which is completely separate and on another property all together with its own entrance. As for the deep cleaning mentioned, we do it every time we have TIME but it’s impossible to do a deep cleaning on back to back stays due to time constraints. the window bases get dusty from time to time but this is the first time in 12 years that someone even mentioned about deep cleaning. I have one helper who lives in the treehouse and I don’t want future guests to have the impression that they will be sharing their rental, that’s not the case.

Thanks Katrina, Correction, my daughter doesn’t live in my property and neither her coach. Her teenis coach used to live there 5 months ago so you got the information wrong. Nobody lives above the garage, I rent it to airbnb once in a while. Thanks for staying here

Any, I live in the property and I take care of the lovely property you so much enjoyed. Or you think this type of property is just miraculously beautiful and well taken cared of by itself ? Thanks for staying here and we would love to have to again.

We appreciate your comments and we were grateful for the opportunity to have you staying at our beautiful property. As for the AC, it's clearly explained on the listing that we don't have air conditioning and in reality, 99% of our guests won't need it because the house is located in the hillside and it has an open floor which makes it very breezy even in the hotter Hawaiian days (usually very breezy) but some people just are used to having A/C on all the time in their homes and habits are difficult to brake, we understand it. As for Ken, the treehouse builder, he does stay in the treehouse at times when he's working and he does use the bathroom in the basement which has a complete separate entrance from the house and completely out of people's way (read the other reviews)...you made it sound like he was getting inside the house you were staying at and that's not accurate. I also disclosed that to you but like some guests, you didn't pay attention but thanks anyways, it was a measure having you and your friends here.
