Espectacular casa frente al lago de 2800 pies cuadrados situada en el hermoso lago Champlain en Alburgh, VT. Grandes ventanales, terrazas y un patio frente al mar brindan maravillosas vistas y acceso al lago. Disfruta de la hoguera en el patio y las escaleras en terrazas hasta el lago, donde encontrarás un gran muelle para disfrutar de paseos en bote, pesca y natación.

La casa puede acomodar hasta 12 huéspedes con una variedad de configuraciones, perfectas para familias activas con adolescentes o preadolescentes.

El frente del lago es de fácil acceso y tiene un gran muelle. Es ideal para la pesca, piragüismo, kayak y natación.

El luminoso sótano / patio tiene un sofá cama (para 2) y grandes puertas correderas directamente al patio. También hay dos tumbonas que son perfectas para descansar y relajarse. La lavadora / secadora también se puede encontrar en el nivel del sótano.

El primer piso tiene un plano de planta abierto con grandes puertas corredizas de vidrio que se abren a una terraza sobre el patio. La cocina cuenta con estufa a gas, refrigerador de acero inoxidable y fregadero. La chimenea de gas, la televisión de pantalla plana y los cómodos sofás hacen de este un lugar perfecto para relajarse. La mesa de la cocina tiene capacidad para 6 personas y también hay asientos en la barra de desayuno. El baño completo en este piso tiene una gran ducha.

El segundo piso tiene una gran sala de estar con un sofá seccional, TV de pantalla plana y dos dormitorios. El primer dormitorio tiene una cama queen, un conjunto de literas gemelas y una cama para niños pequeños. Esta habitación puede alojar cómodamente 2 adultos y 2-3 niños. Hay un armario y una cómoda más grande en esta sala. El segundo dormitorio tiene un gran armario y una cama doble. Ambas habitaciones tienen unidades de aire acondicionado en las ventanas. Este piso también tiene un segundo cuarto de baño.

El tercer piso alberga dos habitaciones tipo loft. Se accede al primer loft a través de una escalera desde la zona de asientos y tiene dos camas individuales. Se accede al segundo loft desde una escalera en el segundo dormitorio y este tiene una cama doble.

Great place to stay

Andy’s property was very well appointed for my family’s stay last week. The dock is in great shape and larger than expected. We are usually traveling to the Champlain area with larger groups but for this summer (two adults and a some teenagers) this was the perfect place for us. The kids loved the loft sleeping spaces. We would definitely stay here again

Lakefront Home

Andy was an excellent host. We had a great time at the lake house. The doc was perfect for taking the kids swimming and fishing. One of the lofts was perfect for the kids. The second loft is a little more difficult to access. We were able to spend one day in Montreal which is about an hour away.overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely return for another visit.

Relaxation

Great location on Lake Champlain for family vacations and get togethers. House has three levels that allow for getting away for personal time. Needs A/C on the main level due to all of the beautiful windows and the hot and humid weather.

Family relaxation and new adventures!!

We were 3 couples (our 2 daughters, their husbands, and our 2 grandsons). Boy, did the dock get used with their fishing skills! Renting a vacation home, sight unseen, can be chancy but the photos the owner provides were on point! We truly enjoyed our surroundings, the house was SO homey and a fully-stocked kitchen. The only thing to point out was never seeing the loft area as the ladder access was too much for us. We moored our boat for the week and dropped 2 jet skis in/out daily w/a launch that was not too far away. Our host was great to deal with - very accommodating with easy access. I would certainly rent again!

Quite the Spot

Excellent location and communication from the owner. Owner was very clear about the lofts being true lofts with ladder access. Highly recommend as not only the location is ideal but the excellent communication for the stay.

Interesting House with beautiful location

The house is located right on the water, which makes evenings on the deck delightful. The first floor is a nice open concept which holds the only full bathroom in the house. It is open to the second floor living space and the 3rd floor loft spaces which can make it difficult to find quiet but great for listening to what all the kids might be up to. The 2nd floor bathroom has no sink and has an open window to the stairway. It looks like some updates on this are underway so maybe a sink will be put in for future renters. We thoroughly enjoyed the home. One thing not shown and renters should be aware of is the 2 steep ladders needed to access the 2 lofts. The loft spaces are a good 10 feet above and on one side will be entered by way of a hatch door with an attic like ladder. Once inside the room it’s cozy but nerve wracking for those that may need the bathroom in the night, or for little ones since the hatch may be too heavy for them open on their own. The other loft is accessible by a ladder that was nailed to the wall so needs someone comfortable with a vertical climb. We had 5 to 14 year olds and it made them nervous but they ended up enjoying in the end. The only real issue we had were the spiders. They were everywhere. We got rid of 4-5 in one of the loft spaces and could see plenty in the high ceilings where we couldn’t reach. The deck was also full of them. The area is rural so some are expected but I think the house could use some cleaning tools to get into those high spots. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the night breezes made for perfect sleeping weather. We rented boats from nearby marinas to get some swimming in since we couldn’t swim from the house.

Family Vacation

We had an amazing time. Andy was super responsive before and during our stay. The house is beautiful and well stocked. We had 4 kids and 3 adults. Plenty of space for everyone to be together or on their own. The kids loved taking the kayaks out and swimming/jumping at the bridge. I loved the giant fire pit every night. Our family made some great memories over the past week. We would highly recommend this property!

A great get away

Andy, the property owner was really helpful and responsive. The property is as described and the outdoor patio and dock are the highlights! I was worried about mooring the boat, but that process was easy. The house is really large and there is a lot of places to sleep but with a large group it can get noisy as there are only two bedrooms with doors and one has loft access. I will come again but with a smaller group next time!

Beautiful stay with my family

I spend a week at Andy's place with my wife, daughter, brother/sister-in-law and their three kids and we all loved the place and our time there. He truly has a special place on the water with a central location to Burlington (60 mins), State Parks (10 mins or 30 mins) or Montreal (90 mins). Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook with. Bedrooms were clean and have window AC units. (Note the entire house does not have central air) Living area and basement were great hangouts for the kids to play after long days outside and the loft areas were special spots for the kids to call their bedrooms for the week. Andy was responsive when we had questions or needed some advice and I would 100% rent this property again without any reservation. -Dave

Amazing house on the lake

This house is amazing. Beautifully decorated and set up for a great vacation. Kitchen has everything you need and then some! House was full of kids books and had some toys to keep my little ones busy when we weren't on the lake. The property is gorgeous! Lake access is amazing, dock is very nice and the owner allows access to kayaks and stand up board. We had a great time and would definitely come again!!

Amazing Lake House Getaway

Perfect house on Champlain

My wife and I stayed the week. The house is in a great location on Champlain. Perfect for sunrise and dusk. We spent time on the deck and relaxing on the dock. Interior was great for two people and would work for a family. Fishing was excellent by the house. You can take a seaplane ride from right up the lake, which we highly recommend.

A Beautiful Spot

Our stay in Alburg was perfect! The house is even more beautiful than the pictures show. It sits right on the lake and has wonderful views of the water from the decks, 2 of the bedrooms and the kitchen and living room. The homeowner was incredibly accommodating and very helpful. We had a group of 10 women and all were in awe of the property. It was great for us and would be amazing for families as well. I highly recommend it and will stay here again!

Great Vacation

I rented this lakefront home for a long weekend with a group of friends to celebrate a couple big birthdays. The view from the house was beautiful, and with large windows throughout the house, we were able to enjoy the view at all times. The house was also located just a few miles from a park with a long, sandy, shallow beach. The house was clean, and the open floor plan was great. The kitchen was equipped with many essentials, which was helpful. The homeowners were friendly, and flexible in allowing us to park in the grass across the street if needed. And when weather was inclement, we were able to watch movies on demand through Netflix. Though the neighbors are close on one side, they were all very nice. I would definitely stay here again.
