Siletz Bay has a calm family friendly beach area for kids to wade and swim in the summer. Go clamming, catch crab, fish for Chinook, kayak, or paddle board directly in the bay. Walk towards the ocean for phenomenal rock hunting and more wave action. Look for hidden glass floats along your walk. No luck? Make a float at a nearby glass shop here in the historic Taft area.

Hungry? Stroll down the street to the iconic Mo’s for clam chowder or to the new Pines Food Trucks where you can all try something different. Pelican Brewery is newly opened on the bay with great fish and chips and beer selection. A grocery store is blocks away.

Explore the Lincoln City Outlet mall or art galleries, visit the Chinook Winds Casino, golf at Salishan, drive to Depoe Bay to whale watch, or see nearby Newport’s Oregon Coast Aquarium or historic bayfront.

Visit our vacation rental any time of year! Summer hosts warm sunny days with cool ocean breezes. 4th of July fireworks are at dusk. Winter gives dramatic storms with breaks for beach walks.
