Water’s Edge #407 - Meredith Lodging

Picturesque waterfront views of Siletz Bay and the ocean inspire this beachfront top-floor condo that sleeps six. 180-degree panorama with the Three Brothers rocks adding to a mesmerizing bay view. Watch from the balcony for an ever-changing scene of harbor seal heads popping out of the water, wading water birds, or an eagle sweeping down to snatch a fish. Look west to see the ocean surf or a colorful sunset. Enjoy the cozy fireplace with a puzzle, a game, or a book in a comfy chair or watch one of the two smart TVs.

Over 800 SF of light-filled living space includes two bedrooms with queen beds and a sleeper sofa. A fully-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, and dining table make it delightful to eat in. The second bedroom provides a desk for writing or work. A hallway shelf full of books, games, and puzzles. An elevator, a walk-in shower, and the view make it senior-friendly. 93-year-old mom approved!

Siletz Bay has a calm family friendly beach area for kids to wade and swim in the summer. Go clamming, catch crab, fish for Chinook, kayak, or paddle board directly in the bay. Walk towards the ocean for phenomenal rock hunting and more wave action. Look for hidden glass floats along your walk. No luck? Make a float at a nearby glass shop here in the historic Taft area.

Hungry? Stroll down the street to the iconic Mo’s for clam chowder or to the new Pines Food Trucks where you can all try something different. Pelican Brewery is newly opened on the bay with great fish and chips and beer selection. A grocery store is blocks away.

Explore the Lincoln City Outlet mall or art galleries, visit the Chinook Winds Casino, golf at Salishan, drive to Depoe Bay to whale watch, or see nearby Newport’s Oregon Coast Aquarium or historic bayfront.

Visit our vacation rental any time of year! Summer hosts warm sunny days with cool ocean breezes. 4th of July fireworks are at dusk. Winter gives dramatic storms with breaks for beach walks.

Easy and Comfortable

The beds were comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with items needed to cook and season food. It was spacious enough that 6 of us weren't on top of each other. I also appreciated that there were games and books to entertain when the inevitable rains come. The apt is also right near a Mo's and cute little beach type shops. My kids really enjoyed walking right out the back to the beach and playing on all the drift wood. This area is perfect for those who want to explore the beach at low tide as well. We did this a few times and my kids found it fascinating that in the morning and evening we could walk where water has been.

Great Spring Get Away

We had a wonderful stay. The Oregon coast in the spring can be quite rainy and windy. After a brisk walk around the bay we took in the view while the fire warmed us up, reading books and relaxing.

Great location, incredible views.

This place is mere steps fro Siletz Bay which is a dynamic small bay flushed twice a day by tides. Seals, salmon and osprey and eagles abound. My favorite place sy the Oregon Coast.

great condo but lots of road noise

I wasn't expecting as much road noise, but we constantly had some soft music playing, and it wasn't too bad. couldn't enjoy the deck as much with said noise & sirens.

Christmas trip

My daughter and I had a fantastic holiday on the beach watching the storms and sunsets from the big sliding glass door that overlooked the water from the 4th floor. We could even watch the ocean as we cooked. The kitchen had everything we needed to make an amazing holiday dinner and the condo had all the amenities and supplies that anyone could want or need. I would definitely go back.

Birthday getaway

My husband has a bday coming up and we decided to slip away by ourselves for some peace and relaxation. The condo was perfect! Clean, quiet, comfortable and well stocked with everything needed for cooking. We will rent again. If your looking for a great place to stay, this is it!!

Siletz Bay Treasure

Amazing views of the bay, river and ocean from this condo. The location also makes it easy to explore other unique areas of the coast, restaurants and shops. This was our second trip to visit the Historic Taft beach and it is one of our favorites! The Condo is very warm and inviting, nice kitchen and a comfortable bed- we would love to return again! Best location

We have stayed in these condos before and love the location. We had problem with tv in a bedroom and the fireplace barely had flames. Check out routine required more tasks than most places, yet cleaning fee was standard. Decor didn't compare to other units in the building.

Great location

We really enjoyed our two night family stay. The southern Lincoln City location was great. The beach location/view was also great, just don’t tell everyone else. = ) I greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness of games, books, and movies incase you want to stay inside. Walkable to food, including a food truck gathering that’s open for lunch/dinner, in case your group likes to eat differently. We didn’t go there but would have been fun. Would stay here again.
