Barefoot Beach Cottage - 111 S Atlantic Ave - is proudly managed by 'Happy Palm Stays', the top vacation rental manager on the Space & Treasure Coasts!
Barefoot Beach Cottage is a beautiful and spacious 5 bedroom direct oceanfront home that features a huge private backyard with plenty of seating and private beach access. This multi-unit home has 4 separate living spaces each with their own door code, bathroom, living room and kitchen. Making it perfect for large families or groups of friends who want to stay under one roof but also have their own privacy. Barefoot Beach Cottage is located in the heart of downtown Cocoa Beach where the beach, restaurants, shops and bars are only steps away!

Unit A and B are located on the first floor. Unit A is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom and Unit B is a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom with a washer and dryer. The first floor features two queen beds, one full bed, one full sized futon and one full sized sofa sleeper. Unit C and D are connecting units located on the second floor with 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer. The second floor features a king bed, two twin beds, and one full sized futon.

We lived hanging out at this beachfront haven. It’s a quirky house with lots of compartments and individual living spaces. Perfect for multi-family or families with teens with all the spaces available. It’s not a normal layout in that there’s no access from inside to the downstairs so keep that in mind if you are thinking of leveraging multiple bedrooms. All that said, having multiple kitchens and laundry, plenty of deck and outdoor space all within walking distance to great restaurants made our trip. It’s a beach location so do not expect perfection—sand and salt can erode here and there . But it was fun and service was communicative so I’d go back again for sure!

The complex had lots of issues. No electricity in one bedroom due to the circuit breaker being off. When flipped on, the smoke alarms went off in all 4 units. Maintenance arrived promptly and couldn’t solve it. The solution was to run an extension cord to the bedroom. There was black mold in this unit and had a terrible mosquito problem. Other units were not very clean with dirt accumulated behind doors and heavy dust on the hvac vents. The A/C in a couple of units was poor. The porch floor was dirty and needs a fresh coat of paint. But the location was great and there was plenty of beach equipment

The home had more than just the beach in the back yard, it had space for everyone to spread out. To create their vacation within the group vacation. The view was breathtaking, even in the storms. The beach was private and the sand was amazing. Some of the best features of this property was all the amenities this home had. We didn’t even need coffee filters! We brought them anyway, but it was things like that, that made it amazing! Beach chairs, tents, boogie boards, towels! Everything! It was so amazing!!! We will be back!! 5000 stars!! So worth every Penny!

The house was just as advertised and accommodated our family of 11 perfectly. The added bonus of being located within a 5 minute walk to beach restaurants and bars created a situation where we rarely used our rented cars. We’d definitely stay at this location again!

Family Spring Break!

This house was amazing and had 4 living areas with a kitchen in all of them. The beds were comfortable, the deck had a beautiful view of the ocean, the back yard felt quaint and private, and the location was within walking distance of coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, drinks, and boutiques. Highly recommend staying here!

Excellent Stay!

Almost don't want to give this review! Our group had an awesome time for our get together! It was the perfect spot for us. The check-in/check-out process was as smooth as can be. I really don’t have one negative thing to say about this place. Will definitely be keeping this place in mind for any possible future plans!

Our group was so happy here. Easy beach access, lovely view from the porch. The owners communicated well, including things to do in the area. We had no issues at all. I wouldn't mind coming back here!

Great location- BUT understand Florida and living on salt water....

Unique house with multiple "full apartments" within the house. Sits 150 yards from the ocean directly out the back door. The home is older but had been updated and nicely stocked. We had a couple of small issues that were handled by the rep Zareh after his co-worker on our first day was less attentive, though he did make up for it on day 2. Understand that in Flroida you may see ants OUTSIDE of the house (we had none inside) and things that are on the beach will have items corroded (fans rust, door knobs stick, windows hard to open)... thats is beach life. This home is farily well maintained and we would choose this again.

Great value

This property is located right on the beach so you can view the ocean and horizon from the back patio/balcony. Also, the property includes 4 separate units which makes it ideal for large families or group of friends. We loved the location as there were plenty of restaurants and fun activities for the whole gang.

Perfect size

Had a party of seven. Ages ranging from 57-65. It fit us perfectly! We had our own space to retreat to at the end of the day but plenty of common area for all of us to hang out. Thanks for helping us make new memories!

Beautiful Property

The house was interesting. Transitions between units were a bit of a hazard. We had seniors with us, and that was a concern. The electric in the one kitchen did not work. The property is beautiful. The location was perfect. It was a great way to have 9 people stay together.

Beach supplies made the stay.

Great location and perfect for a trip of multiple families so everyone had there own space. There was a great selection of beach supplies of us to use. The place was also stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, and blankets. The only reason for 4 stars was the beds were uncomfortable and the basement apartments had a musty smell. Overall good stay right on the beach.

Hidden Gem!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the barefoot beach cottage! It exceeded all my expectations in many ways. The spacious layout of the cottage provided each of us with our own separate living area, kitchen, and bathroom, which made for a truly unique and comfortable experience. It felt like we had our own private retreat within the house. The WiFi was exceptional, with no interruptions in service, which was important for staying connected and entertained during our stay. The clean bedding and towels added to the overall comfort and cleanliness of the cottage. One of the highlights was the availability of beach essentials such as chairs and umbrellas, all in great condition. It made our beach outings hassle-free and enjoyable. The outdoor amenities were also outstanding. With up to six outdoor sitting areas, we had plenty of options to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. The good-sized grill allowed us to have some fantastic barbecues, and the well-stocked kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. And let’s not forget the best part - the beach right in the backyard! The easy access to the beach made it a hit with everyone, especially the kids who loved the independence the cottage offered. Overall, our stay at the barefoot beach cottage was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-equipped, and perfectly located getaway by the sea. We can’t wait to come back

The Perfect Beach House

Awesome Family Vacation

Our family was looking for a beach house for 12 people that had a walk out to the beach and the ocean. Our search brought us to Stay In Cocoa Beach where we met Taylor. Taylor helped us find everything we were looking for and was always just a phone call, text, or email away whenever we needed her before, during, and after our stay. We occupied all 4 units in this property and utilized all the comforts the beach house had to offer. The beach house location was unbeatable. We had beautiful sunrises every morning, we saw dolphins and cruise ships almost every day, and we even got to see a rocket launch from our private beach. This was our first visit to Cocoa Beach and the people at Stay In Cocoa Beach helped up find everything we needed. Our group consisted of 50-year-old parents and 20 something year old young adults. All the units were spacious, clean, and gave everyone all the space they needed. There was something for everyone at the property, on the beach, in the ocean, and within walking distance from our beach house. And everything we needed to enjoy the beach and ocean was provided by the beach house. Who knew that Cocoa Beach was the surfing capital of Florida? The waves were amazing! I highly recommend using Stay In Cocoa Beach to book your vacation rental if you are looking to stay anywhere on Space Coast.
