Great Family Stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week in September of 2016 and family came in from 5 States. There was plenty of room for everyone and the property is perfectly located in Columbia Falls along the main road. All the area attractions were within 10-15 minutes including Glacier Airport, Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Our group said it was the best stocked kitchen they have ever seen. We loved the covered back deck and as we had some rain, it came in handy. We enjoyed the fruit trees and ate plums, apples and pears. Unfortunately, we missed the cherries. There were two full service grocery stores nearby so stocking up was very easy.

Natalie was terrific to answer all questions we had and we would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Home!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week in August of 2016. This house was perfect for the five of us. (3 adults and 2 kids) Plenty of room for everybody, large bedrooms, spacious living room with comfortable furniture, another tv room downstairs for the kids, large deck overlooking the river, (the river is about 100 yards away but the property goes all the way to the river), lots of picture windows with pretty views and natural light. The kitchen is updated and well stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals. The bathrooms are clean and updated.

The property is beautiful. One evening we saw a mother deer and her two fawns on the property. One of my favorite features was the well-stocked library of books on hiking, Glacier National Park, Indians, Animals, and history of the area. Lots of books!

Perfect place....couldn't have asked for anything more!

  • 5 of 5

My wife, son, daughter, parents and I stayed here five days in August and had a great time. We would've had plenty of room for 3 or 4 more people. It rained two of the five days while here, yet the house is large enough that being cooped up inside one of those two days didn't feel like being "cooped up" at all. I guess we really weren't cooped up because a huge covered porch made it possible for us to sit outside.

The Flathead River is just a couple hundred yards from the house which made for easy fishing trips (and a couple of cold dips in the river). We brought our own fishing rods and tackle, but there were already some waiting at the house for those who don't want to pack their own.

The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. All you have to do is show up with clothes and food and you're set.

The location is perfect. Its on the edge of the Columbia Falls city limit, but you feel like you're in the country. The night sky isn't diluted by the city lights. In fact, we were able to view the Perseid meteor shower one night from the backyard after the skies had cleared. The house is just a short drive away from Glacier NP's west entrance, and only 15-20 minutes from Kalispell and Whitefish.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this place. Natalie was very helpful and responsive leading up to and during our stay. We hated to leave...just wish we'd had the forethought to reserve if for a few days longer!

Perfect stay and location for our family!

  • 5 of 5

We were in the area for a niece's wedding at West Glacier. This place was the perfect location, close to all attractions and the home is beautiful and spacious, not to mentioned having everything we needed. Plenty of room for us to get away if needed but yet perfect for game nights as well. The yard is wonderful and plenty of room for our family to enjoy the outdoors with fires, yard games and just hanging out. The river is just a short walk across the yard and entertained the teenager in the house. The pictures don't do justice, this place was absolutely wonderful and the owner was great to work with as well. We would definitely return and would consider this home again!

Perfect stay for our group!!

  • 5 of 5

First off, this place feels like a home, not a vacation rental, and several people in our group said it was the best VRBO they've ever stayed at. Second, the pictures of this place don't do it justice...this house is large, clean, and just beautiful! As a group of 6 adults (3 couples), this house was perfect for us- we each had a bedroom and bathroom on separate floors and there was more than enough room. The kitchen was very well stocked and the quality of items supplied were great- nothing is worse than a broken can opener and cheap pans! The grill worked great as well. The book shelves were stocked with books on the area and there were plenty of extra blankets for the chilly nights.

While the house can be a little difficult to find, it's in a great location close to the grocery store with easy access to Glacier National Park. The area is quiet, and our stay was extremely peaceful. The river (which is beautiful!) is a short walk across the yard and a the pear and plum trees were in full production- delicious!!

There were no real instructions on what to do upon checkout or some of the typical things done for vacation rentals, but Natalie was very responsive to my messages and generally very helpful. The house was very clean and not lacking for anything except a fireplace (which would have just been a bonus). We wish we could have stayed longer and highly recommend this house for a large group- we will return if we can!

Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

We were 4 adults and 3 children, age 11-15. The house was perfect for us with everything we could ask for, lovely and clean, lots of space inside and out, very private yet close to everything. We lived it and hope to go again.
