Thank you for sharing your review of Edgewater Inn 111. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the awesome view and the property’s excellent location. One of the best parts of staying at Edgewater Inn is being right on Round Lake in downtown Charlevoix, where guests can relax on private balconies and watch boats and the Beaver Island ferry while being just steps away from restaurants, boutique shopping, coffee houses, marinas, and Lake Michigan beaches. Many guests love that they can park once and enjoy walking to everything Charlevoix has to offer, including the pier for sunsets, the drawbridge, and seasonal festivals. We also appreciate your honest feedback about the bathroom in Unit 111 needing a makeover. Each of our condominiums is individually owned and decorated, and while we work closely with owners to maintain standards of comfort and quality, your note will be shared with the appropriate team so improvements can be considered. Guest feedback is vital in helping us keep each unit fresh, updated, and welcoming. Beyond the condo itself, Edgewater Inn offers amenities that many visitors enjoy, such as our indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and waterfront terrace. Daily housekeeping services help keep units clean and inviting, and our friendly front desk staff is available until 10 p.m. each evening to assist with questions or provide local recommendations. Even with your suggestion for an update, we’re glad your stay highlighted the strengths of our property—an unbeatable location, spectacular views, and the convenience of being right in the heart of Charlevoix. We hope you’ll consider visiting us again soon to experience everything you loved along with improvements that make your next stay even better.

Thank you for your review. We’re so glad you found the place wonderful and enjoyed the beautiful view while visiting your family. We understand that bridge traffic can be hectic at times, and while that’s out of our control, we’re happy to hear it didn’t take away from your overall experience. We also appreciate your suggestion about adding a toaster—little touches like that can make a stay even more convenient, and we’ll certainly consider it for future guests. We’d be happy to welcome you back for another comfortable and scenic visit.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful five-star review of the Edgewater Inn! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall and that the excellent location stood out as one of the highlights of your experience. Our lakefront lodging on Round Lake places guests right in the heart of downtown Charlevoix, offering both beautiful views and convenient walkability to shops, restaurants, art galleries, the marina, and beaches. We’re so glad this feature enhanced your visit. We also appreciate your recognition of the cleanliness of the bathroom and the unit overall. Our professional housekeeping team works diligently to ensure that every waterfront condominium is spotless and ready for arrival, so it’s wonderful to know that their efforts made your stay more enjoyable. At the same time, we value your honest feedback about the bathroom needing updates. Our property management team works closely with owners to encourage ongoing improvements, and your comments help us prioritize areas where updates can make a meaningful impact on the guest experience. Your note about spider activity near the doorwall and balcony is also very helpful. Being directly on the water and surrounded by Northern Michigan’s natural beauty does occasionally bring with it challenges like spiders, especially in warmer months. That said, we recognize that guests expect these areas to be comfortable and welcoming, and we are committed to increasing preventative treatments and more frequent maintenance checks to reduce these concerns. We’re thrilled to hear that despite these areas for improvement, you still found the Edgewater Inn to be a great place to stay. In addition to our prime location and comfortable condos, guests also enjoy resort-style amenities including an indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, and a sun terrace overlooking Round Lake—features designed to make every stay even more relaxing. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback and for highlighting both the positives and areas where we can improve. We’re so pleased that your overall experience was a great one, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another Charlevoix getaway where you can once again enjoy our unbeatable location, beautiful views, and the warm Northern Michigan hospitality that makes Edgewater Inn so special.

Thank you for your wonderful five-star review of Edgewater Inn 111. We are thrilled to hear that your stay was such a positive experience and that you found our location, accommodations, and service all worthy of praise. Edgewater Inn prides itself on offering guests a truly special Charlevoix getaway, and it’s rewarding to know we met your expectations. Unit 111 is a guest favorite, with its convenient proximity to downtown Charlevoix and its relaxing waterfront atmosphere on Round Lake. Being able to park your car and walk everywhere — to the marina, shops, restaurants, and beaches — is something many of our guests highlight as a key reason for choosing our property. We are so pleased you enjoyed this perfect location, which allows for both relaxation and easy access to the best of Charlevoix. We are especially grateful for your comments on cleanliness, as our housekeeping team works diligently to ensure every unit is spotless, fresh, and comfortable for arrivals. A clean and well-kept space is a top priority for us, and we are glad that effort made such a strong impression. It’s also wonderful to hear that you found our staff to be extremely friendly. Your enthusiastic recommendation and your plans to return mean the world to us. Thank you again for choosing Edgewater Inn 111 and for sharing your experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I’m glad to hear that, even though you couldn’t find a hotel with a lakefront balcony, this property still provided you with a view that felt just as nice. Having that relaxing scenery to enjoy really makes a stay special, and it sounds like the setting delivered on that front. We’re happy you enjoyed it, and your feedback is helpful for others who might be searching for a similar experience.

Thank you for your kind review! We're glad you enjoyed the great location and the beauty of the town. It sounds like you had a wonderful time, and we hope to welcome you back for another visit soon!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the property did not meet your expectations, though we do want to clarify that this is a condo unit located within a condo-style building, not a traditional hotel room. We’re glad you enjoyed the fantastic balcony view, but we’re sorry the rest of the experience fell short. Your comments regarding the hallway carpet, pool and hot tub area, bedroom comfort, bathroom condition, kitchen setup, living room furnishings, spiders, and balcony furniture are all important and will be shared with the appropriate maintenance, housekeeping, management, and ownership teams for review. We understand how dated finishes, worn furniture, cleanliness concerns, and maintenance issues can impact the overall value and comfort of a stay. While each condo can vary in layout, décor, and updates, guests should still arrive to a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained space. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention. Feedback like this helps identify where updates, repairs, and additional attention are needed for future guests.

It’s also great to know you found the condo clean and comfortable overall. We truly appreciate your honest feedback regarding the bathroom shower and microwave. Small functional updates like these can make a big difference in guest comfort, and your comments help us identify where improvements are most needed. We’ll be sure to share this with the property owner and management team for review. Your overall positive experience and kind words mean a lot, and we’re happy the condo still provided a great stay. We’d love to welcome you back for another relaxing visit!

Hello Elaine, We are so sorry the unit was not up to standards. Unfortunately the screen doors have been an issue this season, it takes a couple days to repair them when they get ripped. We are working on a better quality screening for the doors. Please give us a call directly to book your next stay, so we can ensure you are in a better quality unit. Rose GM
