Beautiful view of Round Lake and harbor entrance. Excellent location - very close to downtown, lighthouse, etc. Nice condo - very clean and good layout. Effective housekeeping services.Things that were not a 5 and did not justify the rate: AC condenser right next to balcony is noisy and runs constantly, TVs do not support streaming services, sofa is not comfortable, balcony has many spiders that need to be removed, sauna is not nearly hot enough with no user controls, very medicore fitness room.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful view of Round Lake and the harbor entrance, along with the excellent location close to downtown, the lighthouse, shops, restaurants, and local attractions. We’re also happy to know you found the condo nice, very clean, and well laid out, and that housekeeping services were effective during your stay. That said, we’re sorry there were several items that kept the experience from feeling like a five-star stay, especially at the rate paid. We understand how a noisy AC condenser near the balcony, limited TV streaming options, an uncomfortable sofa, spiders on the balcony, sauna temperature concerns, and a fitness room that did not meet expectations can all affect the overall value and comfort of a visit. We appreciate you bringing these specific concerns to our attention. Your comments will be shared with the appropriate management, maintenance, housekeeping, and ownership teams so these areas can be reviewed for improvement. Thank you again for recognizing the positives while also being honest about where the experience fell short. Your feedback is helpful as we continue working to improve the guest experience.

Great location !

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location! Walking distance from the shops and restaurants downtown and from Lake Michigan. Beautiful views from the back balcony of Round lake and the boats coming and going! The room was clean except for some cobwebs on the back deck. The only downside to the room is that the bedroom had a window in it that had the outside hallway on the other side, so it was very loud in the bedroom if people were talkimg as they passed by. You could hear every word of their conversations. Thankfully this quieted down in the evening when we went to sleep. Otherwise everything was great!

Thank you so much for sharing this thoughtful review. We’re thrilled to hear you loved the location and that being within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, Lake Michigan, and the waterfront made your stay so enjoyable. It’s also wonderful to know you enjoyed the beautiful Round Lake views from the back balcony and watching the boats come and go—that’s one of the best parts of this property. Thank you as well for the notes on what could be improved. We’re sorry about the cobwebs on the back deck. That should have been taken care of, and we’ll reinforce exterior deck checks with housekeeping so the balcony is as clean and inviting as the room itself. We also appreciate you mentioning the bedroom window facing the outside hallway and the noise from passersby. That’s helpful context for future guests, and we understand how it could be disruptive—especially earlier in the day. We’re glad it quieted down in the evening so you were able to sleep comfortably, and we’ll look into any practical options to help reduce hallway noise where possible. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing both the highlights and the helpful feedback. We’d be delighted to welcome you back for another visit with those same great views and walkable convenience.
