Find oceanfront rentals near Thompsons Lake State Park Beach

Everything was great. Loved the house. So comfortable, and spacious with really nice cool fun decore. The outdoor patio area is beautiful overlooking the grouinds. What is a special place. We hope to visit again sometime soon!

From the minute we got there, we knew we selected the right place. The place was clean and stocked with everything we could need. The host had thought of everything with every room stocked. The house also came with canoes, kayaks, and fishing equipment, everything we needed to relax by the lake. We would absolutely stay here again without question. Truly, the hostess with the mostess

We spent two weeks in the capital region, and this home was perfect for us. It's located on a quiet road, with a beautiful treed lot. Huge backyard with tables and chairs and a grill. Gorgeous Victorian house that is impeccably clean. Lots of space, bedrooms are private, and streaming TV's in each. Kim and Mike are very welcoming and friendly. 40 minutes from Saratoga, and about 75 minutes from the heart of the Adirondack region. We loved it!

A must-do, easy hike with stairs is the Thacher Nature Center's Indian Ladder Trail, which starts from the center. Ask about taking the upper trail back to the center. It overlooks Indian Ladder, and there are restrooms and picnic tables nearby. Don't miss the Indian Ladder Farms, which has outdoor music, beer tastings, and a cute shop. Check out Secret Caverns (about 40 minutes away) for a great tour (lots of stairs down). Cooperstown is a great day trip (1.5 hours away). There's the baseball museum, the art museum (which is well worth it), and a farm museum across the road from it.

We used this as an add-on to an adjacent rental for our group and it provided just the privacy that was needed. Huge bathroom. Nice spot! Very communicative owner. Would rent again.
