  • Spectacular tropical vacation destination!

"We stayed in Gryphon's Lair for a week in February and the place is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The views are outstanding and the villa itself is clean, comfortable and just perfect in every way. Gus and Laura thought of everything, provided top quality amenities, and were always readily available to answer the few questions we had (i.e. will be able to watch the Superbowl? Yes and Go Pats! ) If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable place to spend your vacation, you will not be sorry if you choose Gryphon's Lair."

  • Super location but private too

"We stayed here with our friends and we had such a fun trip. It is great to be able to walk to the beach and Sugar Cane Restaurant, which is just around the corner, was very tasty. The island is beautiful and so easy to get around. We are already looking to come back soon!"

  • Fantastic views, great beach

"My wife and I spent the 3rd week of September at villa Moonlit Sea and had a wonderful time. The island was very slow and most restaurants were closed including the Nail Bay facility 2 minutes down the road, but that was OK as we knew this going in and had the island to ourselves. The view off the private deck takes in a great western vista of the Drake Channel with sunsets over Tortola. There are villas on either side with a shared walkway in the front (uphill or kitchen side), so it's not completely private, but we had minimal intrusion. The short hike down to Mountain Trunk beach was delightful and it had some of the best snorkeling as advertised. Savannah Bay was another favorite. We loved the view from Virgin Gorda Peak and the Copper Mine and spent a day on Anegada which was a highlight day-long adventure; again, we were the only tourists on the direct ferry over from VG and had Loblolly Bay and Cow Wreck Beach to ourselves. The villa is well appointed. We packed a couple of frozen rib eyes, some homemade frozen meatballs and sauce and a leftover chicken dish down with us in a soft freezer bag (still 90% frozen after flying in and ferrying over) with us which made meals easy. We imagined that we'd have an even more enjoyable time when more things are open, but we planned on a low key tropical vacation, and villa MLS delivered. Thanks to Miss Grace and Apu for making our stay easy!"

  • Love this GEM!

"You can not beat the house, location or view. Jason Callwood was absolutely amazing. He picked us up at the ferry, helped us get settled in the house and even drove us to the restaurant. He made sure there was a table for us and came back to get us because he knew we were tired. He drove us to the boat and when we came back in a week, his beautiful smiling face was waiting for us. The house was more spacious than I thought. The view was incredible. I will definitely come back."
