  • Beautiful House Inside and Out!

"My family stayed for 5 days 4 nights in this beautiful house. The interior was impeccably decorated and furnished, the color schemes gorgeous throughout the rooms. Most importantly, our stay was satisfactory with everything we may have needed provided in the house. Here are a few notes: PROS -Very well furnished/decorated. Gives you a classy home-away-from-home feel -Game Room was very cozy and included Pool Table, Treadmill and TV COULD BE IMPROVED -Water pressure in showers were weak, almost minimal during a couple showers (in all bathrooms). This was a let down with all the upscale decor. -Instructions for WiFi, TV, Treadmill would have been helpful (i.e. Welcome Pamphlet) . We were left to our devices to figure out the TV only uses Netflix, the Treadmill needed to be reset to work, the WiFi password was behind the router. NOTE **SAFETY -- We are wary travelers and purposely check all doors/windows before leaving. We close the front door, check if it's locked and the front gate each time we leave and return. On our Second Night, we left the house in the afternoon, checked the locks and closed the gate. We returned to an open gate. It looked like everything was fine inside but we definitely felt a bit wary the rest of the nights. ***PACKAGE -- On our third night, there was a package delivered, placed inside the gate. We did not open it but left it inside the gate. We were also not told to expect a package but it was send to the correct address. (???) ****SECURITY CAMERA -- There was a security camera that was on and functioning in the main room/kitchen area when we arrived and we were not told how to unplug it until the next day. This definitely made us feel a little uncomfortable. Most of these items can be fixed with a Welcome Packet or Welcome Pamphlet to ease the traveler's mind. Over all, as I mentioned, it was a great stay in a nice environment. Thanks!"

  • Excellent people and excellent place

"I went with a group of friends and we had a great time. The owner was a pleasure to communicate with and was very helpful. The house itself was in great condition and the pictures in the description perfectly represent the quaint home. We were very satisfied by the amount of space and everything the place had to offer. I would definitely recommend this place based on its location, especially if you are looking for something a little bit quieter but still accessible to everything the city life has to offer."

"The one word that comes to mind when I think of my entire vacation experience at the Key West property is PHENOMENAL. From the booking process to the customer service to the property itself, everything was first class. Being our first time using the service or staying at a vacation home, it exceeded our expectations. The home is BEAUTIFUL and immaculately kept! The pictures really don't do it justice. My better half and I, along with our guests, marveled at this home. This experience was so great that I might not ever stay in a hotel again. Linda was wonderful and Walt knew every conceivable thing about the house and was able to give answers to any and every question we had. The open floor plan down stairs, the beauty of the back yard, the awesomeness of the game area and the master suite were absolute highlights. It screamed entertain guests! All of the appliances were user friendly and high end products. Additionally, the home was equipped with more than enough toiletries, towels, utensils and even seasonings. The ONLY drawback was that there were no TVs in bedrooms other than the master. The home, though, is truly PHENOMENAL! 10 stars!"

  • A Nice 550 Square Feet

"I have stayed at the Signature several times. No matter which Tower visited the staff is friendly and accommodating. This was, however, the first time I went the VRBO route as opposed to the public online booking. The process was easy and the responses from the owner timely. All seemed good until I actually went to check in. The front desk had no idea who I was or which unit I was to inhabit. The only info I had was the floor # and "550sf, Strip View" and the name of the owner. It was a bit disconcerting but got all sorted in about 2 hours of using every option available to contact the owner (co-owner actually). The owner eventually called and assured Signature I was legit and informed which unit I had booked. The unit and the view were VERY nice and appointed with upscale furnishing and finishes (which is why I return to the Signature). The only three surprises were later the first night when setting up the coffee pot for morning I found a heavy layer of mold in the bottom of the coffee pot. I'm single and self-sufficient so cleaning it up was no big deal. Later yet the first night I discovered the bed was not made. I found the sheets in the closet and made it myself. Lastly, when I went to turn on the TV the remote wouldn't work so I just pulled batteries from a penlight and good-to-go. Neither of these incidents are deal breakers for me because, as stated, I'm use to taking care of myself, but for the price paid one would generally expect these issues not to arise. All in all it was a nice visit and the accommodations contributed to that. The lessons taken away are: 1. When using VRBO and after making the reservations, contact the Signature to confirm the owner has let them know. If not, you will have plenty of time to resolve the issue before arrival. 2. Get the complete unit number to aide in tracking down the owner in case of a check-in issue. 3. Know who the owners are. In my case the Signature folks couldn't track anything because the only name I had was a co-owner. 4. Don't be a jerk to the front desk OR the booking owner! In my case the Signature folks were doing all they could with the information I had (see above to help with that). As to the owner (co-owner) she was very responsive once she was aware of the problem. 5. Recommendation to the owners ... consider a different cleaning crew. The cleaning fee I was charged doesn't reflect the caliber of work they are doing for you. BOTTOM LINE: I'll be back. Thank you."
